About Sushi Atelier
Contemporary sushi restaurant serving artistically created Japanese dishes. Expect delicate carpaccios, inventive sushi rolls and beautifully topped nigiri.
Service is from a long sushi counter, the chefs working in front of the cutomers. There are also cosy tables of larger parties which don't wish to sit at the bar.
Drinks include super chilled draft Asahi, premium sake, wine and spirits.
Great food and friendly service.
Butterfish carpaccio is a must-have in this place. I do hope they never run out of this dish. Ever. all of the sushi and sashimi are great quality, and I really like the lunch option, which comes with miso and a salad (with delicious dressing). one thing to consider perhaps would be to add a few more meat dishes? only cos sometimes we end up with a non-fish eating person in a group (I know they shouldn't be coming to a sushi restaurant in the first place, but sometimes there is no choice but to include them!)
Wonderful service yet again for dinner at Sushi Atelier. This place is a real hidden gem. Quality for the price is extraordinary, especially considering the location. Also had some wonderful sake that was the seasonal special. Staff were super attentive and knowledgable. Can’t recommend enough!
This is my favourite restaurant in the world. Like the man sang, it's my church - where I heal my hurts. Never change Sushi Atelier, never change. Keep your friendly staff, excellent food, and not unduly expensive prices. God only knows what I'd be without you.
I would tag you on Twitter and rave if you had a Twitter page! A perfect birthday experience. Superb FOH service, good options for me, a vegetarian (as good as can be expected). Very classy place, top to bottom. A pleasure.
It was average food for the price.
Best value for money sushi in London, it is SOO gooood!!
Delicious, great service and couldn’t get better sushi in London without paying a lot more. Thank you!
I have been several times and I think it’s one of the best reasonably priced sushi restaurants in London.
Delicious food and the sake we ordered was glorious. Kept ordering more it was so tasty. Service attentive also, highly recommend
We really enjoyed our experience at Sushi Atelier. It was amazing value for money too. We will surely go back.
Some of the best sushi I've ever had.
Thank you guys!! As always you were amazing
We had a delicious and inventive dinner and the wine choices were excellent. Thank you!
Celebrated birthday there and want to thank the team for the super thoughtful service As usual food was superb
This is my new favourite sushi restaurant! Every year I take my husband for great sushi to celebrate his birthday. This year was one of the best in memory. We were greeted with glasses of champagne and given front row seats right next to Robert, the sushi chef who worked previously at Shiso and Yashin. He picked up on our enthusiasm for sushi and really made the night special. Highlights were the perfectly seasoned butter fish and otoro with truffle sushi. We will go back again very soon.
Great lunch menu, quality sushi.
Really good, casual vibe with excellent food.
Everything was amazing and the quality superb definitely gonna be back
Very nice food, atmosphere and service, especially for people who like interesting toppings on their sushi. However I can only give four stars for the food because the tamago (nigiri sushi), which is a favourite of mine, was very poor and needs a complete re-work.
Our first meal at Sushi Atelier and we hope not our last. We went on a Saturday night and choose to sit at the counter though there are tables on both levels if you prefer. We are big fans of shashimi and sushi and have been lucky to spend time in Japan and visit London Japanese restaurants including Roka and Nobu. We shared a mix of starters including yellow tail shashimi which was excellent and followed this by a selection of sushi. Everything apart from the eel (onlyduff note) felt very fresh and well prepared and service was friendly - we did not feel rushed and enjoyed our time. Good Japanese sushi is not cheap and prices are average for this quality. Our meal for 2 including an aperitif and bottle of wine came to £90 per head. So perhaps not everyday dining though you can eat here for less. If you are a fan of sushi do go. We hope to return soon.
Good service and good foods!! Definitely go back!!
Great sushi, great service and sit at the counter to watch your food be made. Will definitely be back.
Delicious food service could have been better
