About Sushi Atelier
Contemporary sushi restaurant serving artistically created Japanese dishes. Expect delicate carpaccios, inventive sushi rolls and beautifully topped nigiri.
Service is from a long sushi counter, the chefs working in front of the cutomers. There are also cosy tables of larger parties which don't wish to sit at the bar.
Drinks include super chilled draft Asahi, premium sake, wine and spirits.
superb sushi, 10 over 10. Excellent sushimen
Great nigiri! For some who flies to Tokyo twice a year and staying at 5* hotels just to get a booking at saito or harutaka or sushiya, I think I do know a little bit about sushi. Of course we r in hard water area so the structure of rice is not as perfect as those top Tokyo sushi den and seaweed is not roasted in house first thing in the morning, but hey ho I'm still impressed and satisfied and content. I'm a fan :)
The Butterfish and Foie Gras dish was magnificent. I’ve already recommended you to many friends and am planning a return visit. Thank you.
The food and service were very good. Slightly expensive but not sufficiently so to stop me going again!!!
Beautiful food, lovely service
High quality products and carefully treated to get the most of each dish. The service was also excellent!
Everything was wonderful. The staff was accommodating and kind. The food was amazing! We will be back!
One of the best Japanese restaurants
Very good food, definetly worth the money. Though, I wish the Odoro was served fresh, not torched (personal preference, it was still very good)
everyone is very nice and helpful especially agnes - and the food is the BEST see you soon
Absolutely delicious food and a great selection of drinks. Will definitely be back and highly recommend!
The food was great, but just before we received our dessert, a piece of fish was cooked right in front of us that filled the restaurant with a truly obnoxious smell. It massively put us off our food; I’d recommend investing in a good extractor, or taking that particular dish off the menu. Ruined an otherwise good meal. We even saw someone come in and immediately leave because of it.
The cocktails were not very good. Food was very nice and the Japanese lady who greeted me was lovely. Sadly the disappointment was when we ordered an eel soup it never came after an hour of eating the rest of our orders. We cancelled it as we had to leave and the server just said “our chef is busy”. It’s not a professional response. Not bad but would not make an effort to come back.
The food is extraordinary, more than excellent. An orgasm of tastes (sorry but how to describe any better?)!!
Incredible food - some of the best Japanese cuisine in London!
I think it would be nice to have a cheaper white wine bottle, there are several good quality options in the market more affordable. Anyway, I love the food, daily specials options and service. Hope I can repeat in my next visit to London!
By far one of the best value for money Japanese restaurants in London. Good quality ingredients, broad menu and interesting combinations, served in a way that is very reminiscent of what I had in Japan. Only remark I have, on the omakase menu: nigiri should be served one by one, but I understand the logistical complication linked to this, given the long counter. Overall, amazing experience!
As a sushi junkie I can only recommend this restaurant highly. The uni (sea urchin) was excellent, very close to Tokyo standard, and incited me to indulge to the point of protein overload. Very reasonable for the quality, even if I suspect (maybe unfairly) that the chefs have not had the full ten year training of a the Japanese trained. No complaints on the presentation quality or value.
One of the most delicious and authentic Japanese cuisine in London
Table service and advice from our waitress was outstanding.
Great sushi! Particularly the omakase :) The only issue was that we wanted to order more food but the kitchen was closed at like 10 pm on a Saturday evening. Other than that everything was great!
