Styx and Stone – as its name suggests our restaurant is famed for its Stone Grill dining and uses only authentic, quality ingredients that cunningly complement and enhance each other to ensure you have a memorable dining experience.
Harriet our server was exceptional for a young lady. She was fun, efficient and a joy!
Great restaurant. Food was good and well priced. My girlfriend andI were very impressed with service. Our food was very quick. However, there wasn't many people in the restaurant at the time
We ordered two entrees which arrived very quickly. We ordered 4 mains which there were no complaints and they were all happy with their meals. The mains included a open steak sandwich, beef burger, eye fillet and the tasting stone grill. I ordered a bar snack which was “nachos” but there were very few corn chips. Underneath was full of stale crumbs. Would not recommend!!!
We always enjoy our dining experience here. Noticed prices have gone up! Still enjoyable - I come for the fillet steak. Don't get rid of it!

Meal and Service were great, only feedback we made was that the tartare sauce for the cod had a metallic taste which we noted to the server. We are definitely coming back soon for a big family xmas meal as we did last year.
The staff coped with a large group (30) effectively and efficiently. Every one had a really good time and I have been given very positive feedback. You can expect some repeat business from members of this group. Thankyou tp all the staff
The service was excellent and the 5 of us were all impressed with the quality of the meals. 2 of us had the open steak sandwich. The steak was nice and tender.

Tasty food. Generous servings. Quick service. Friendly, skilled wait staff. Love that they take the order for the table without writing anything down and later deliver the food to the right person without having to ask who ordered what. Everything is easy about this place including the parking.
Excellent evening meal with visiting guests
We were are group of fourteen and from arrival to departure the staff were very friendly, attentive, and helpful. All our group enjoyed their meals and the evening went down very well. I have dined here before and will be returning. Many thanks, Alan
Lovely night. We confused the waiter with the food we ordered when we queried this she was so apologetic and made us the correct meal. The service here is amazing and the team are lovely too.

DINING COMPLAINT. On Saturday the 29th September I organized an evening meal to celebrate 1 x Birthday and 2 x Father’s Day. We were a group of 6. Service and the meal were great. The problem started when we went to pay with an entertainment card. We asked that the credit be taken off, then the amount to be split 3 ways, we dine out often and have always had obliging staff doing so. However, this time the first young waiter said they could not do that, I said that we had just done this at Flax the last week, and spice paragon the week before. he turned around and another bully boy came over to sort me out, he was nasty, and would not accept the above and then pay the balance split into 3, he was so nasty that I mentioned that the above was the way that we always did it and his attitude was antagonistic , to which I said I would settle without the discount and never return again he immediately threw his arms up in the air and said that that would suit him and stormed away. Next minute a lady, obviously the manager was there, who said that the rules forbit the above, after pronged discussion, I made the decision that it was a stupid discussion and we would settle without the discount, she then asked me for the gold card, to which I said that was silly as she would not accept my above payment arrangement. We proposed from the bill of $240.00 deduct the $39.00, then divide the balance up by 3 which would equal $67.00 each pair. I did not think that was hard, it has taken me less than a minute to do. As mentioned above we have used the entertainment book and discounts numerous times over the years and always settled the bill as above. We then settled paying $80.00 each. The upshot of all this is this letter/email to Styx & Stones and the Entertainment book company just to make you aware of what is happening to your business, our group will never return to Styx & Stones. There are a large number of restaurants that can be chosen from, there are also a number closing down, now I understand why. I suggest all the employees should contact Mitre 10 and attend their training courses on customer service as their attitude is the customer pays their wages therefore attention to detail is imperative. I also consider it unwise to have a prolonged argument with a customer who has such a lovely meal Kind Regards Les Day 0274508254. Atmosphere, service & food was great, very friendly & helpful staff
We felt very rushed for the first part of our meal as we were informed our table was booked out at a certain time. When we offered to move at the time we were told the booking was for our server told us they had moved the next booking somewhere else then it felt like we were ignored as we had to request each time we wanted something eg desert menu or another drink
The lamb shanks were divine... will be back to have them again. Service was a big tick too. Thanks.
