About Stock and Barrel
Inspired by the overland stockmen that crossed the Murray River over the Yarrawonga stock bridge and historical pubs of the region. Bespoke spirits, craft beer and regional wines complement contemporary casual dining where the welcome is always warm.
Great service lovely people
Early dinner (thanks to mister 3.5year old) Entrees and kiddies meal came out quick. Good portion size and hot. I ordered the pasta, and it was delicious. I then ordered dessert for room service which was equally delicious. Thanks for having us.
Staff were very obliging with the aircon. We all devoured our food with delight. Will definitely visit again when next down that way, hopefully get a reservation at the Hotel as well. (Was booked out)
Used my Accor Plus card so fantastic value! Beautiful views, great service and delicious meals with on point presentation. This is my 3rd visit and will be back. (From Melbourne) Highly recommend!
Stuffed in a corner
employees were lovley and the beef was so beautiful
It was an enjoyable experience from the moment you walk in ! The staff were so friendly & efficient with their service & the meals were delicious ! So thank you Stock & Barrel for a lovely night !! Will definitely recommend to others to try this restaurant !
Great food and service. Will eat there again!
Am sure this Covid thing has formed a cloud everywhere. Susan - morning staff is an asset. Don’t let that one go.
Good food in a gorgeous location. We’ll be going back
Service was great Food was yum Setting/view was awesome Will be coming back 👍🏻
First time we had visited the new Stock and Barrel. Staff were very attentive at the beginning although we did have to wait for our table be cleared in between courses for a while. The food was ok. Wouldn’t be something I would rush back for. I had the chicken burger which had old limp lettuce on it and was overall fairly tasteless... the salmon looked lovely though. The room is lovely and furniture impressive.
Quality of food in the restaurant was fabulous but wine is over priced. Wait staff were very friendly but we did have a 40 min wait for our drinks and food order to be taken.
We did lunch here as a group of 15. 8 adults 7 kids. We ate most things from the menu, pizza, pasta, steak, chicken burger, calamari, poke bowls and side of beans and snow peas. Service has improved according to previous friends reviews. We had 3 bottles of wine and food on table at an hour post arrival. Pretty good for a large group. Some jugs for drinks would be a real value add so we could have jugs of soft drink for kids, let alone adults for beer or cider when sitting outside. Desserts were lovely and generous servings. Panacotta, cheesecake, tart and bread butter pudding all really yummy. Ambiance is good with a stunning outlook. We will return again... a great asset to yarrawonga and we look forward to Elizabeth's and the day spa opening for next instalment
We stayed at the Sebel and had breakfast and dinner in this restaurant. The food was good and the portions are generous. The side dishes (vegetables) are flavoursome. We enjoyed it and will return. The service was friendly. The view from the restaurant is amazing too and it is enjoyable to watch the sunset while dining. We thought this was good value for money.
Great experience all round. Service, drinks and meals were fantastic 10/10
Food is divine. Lovely setting with great views. Once we got our meals, no follow up service to see if we wanted more drinks, dessert or coffee! Had to find waitress to order it. But willing to dine again as food worth it.
We had breakfast there as part of our stay menu average Would like bacon and eggs poached scrambled or fried with sour dough toast no cereal
We had lunch Saturday at the Stock & Barrel and the food was great. We had our meals within 25 minutes. Both the meals and drinks were reasonably priced. Once restrictions ease further i think the atmosphere of the Sebel will only get better. Staff were incredibly friendly.
Couldn’t fault the food. We were happy to pay a higher price than other local eateries for the high quality food, fantastic surrounds and amazing views.
Enjoyed the dining experience very much. Menu to suit a range of tastes. Extensive choice of drinks and good to see local wines. Our stay overnight included breakfast which was delicious too.
