About Stock and Barrel
Inspired by the overland stockmen that crossed the Murray River over the Yarrawonga stock bridge and historical pubs of the region. Bespoke spirits, craft beer and regional wines complement contemporary casual dining where the welcome is always warm.
Beautiful venue and friendly staff. Great food and very filling. Lovely venue for a long lunch with friends.
Service and physical environment was great. Food was quite ordinary and portions were small for the set prices. It will be important to remember that Yarrawonga is a regional area and for future patronage you need to consider that city prices wont work for locals.
Wow what a lovely day BEAUTIFUL meal great service. would highly recommend.
Delicious pasta and gnocchi. Pannacotta very good. Friendly service. Will be dining here every evening of our 5 night stay. Breakfasts are excellent with a great range of varied dishes. Highly recommended.
Breakfast was a much better experience than dinner.
Overpriced pub food. Quite ordinary.
We had the most lovely evening for our wedding anniversary. From the moment we stepped through the front door and were seated, the staff were phenomenal! The atmosphere is warm and lush, industrial contemporary and just bang on where it should be. I have NO suggestions on how our night could have been better, what a perfect team you have! We will be back very soon with friends and family.
No Carlton Draught on tap. Looking forward to the up market restaurant opening. We thought the menu needs some expansion but the quality of the food was excellent.
Lovely ambience. Staff were great, friendly. Good food & drinks were cold. Family were very impressed. Be back. Thanks.
A pleasant place for a relaxed meal with great water views
Attention to table could be improved AT DINNER AND BREAKFAST. Waiting 30 mins for eggs and bacon too arrive was too long. At dinner wine list should be presented first and beverage order taken more quickly and upselling of beverages as well as verbally promoting specials.Deserts way too expensive Not sure that serving chips and then needing to order sides justifies the cost of a 300gm porterhouse steak. ie fresh vegetables
We will definitely be back. Everything was absolutely amazing !!
The staff were great and the food was expensive but great. The big let down in atmosphere is the lighting, the spot lights need redirecting given they shine in your eyes whilst sitting at the tables. The menu was small but really well balanced. There should also be some lighting outside to see the beautiful outdoor area facing the water.
Restaurant has incredible potential, service is good, space is gorgeous, however the quality of food is simply lacking.
Lovely atmosphere and great vibes
We dined Sunday morning for breakfast as a group of 9. The service was lovely but the food let the experience down. There was at least 20min between the delivery of the first and last meal. We had to ask after the first person was finished if the rest of the meals were coming out. When they last meal finally came out the ciabatta bread was scorched black. I have no idea how it made it past the kitchen staff or wait staff to be delivered to our table. It smelt burnt and was black, inedible. I requested another piece of bread which they brand me but by the time it came the rest of my breakfast was cold. I find it difficult to understand how 3 pieces of ciabatta that were charred black made it on my plate in the kitchen and then delivered to the table. It was also disappointing that there was no apology or acknowledgement from management that the meals were delivered so inconsistently or that one of the meals was not up to scratch
Delicious food and excellent customer service . The restaurant has a beautiful view which makes it special . It is great for special occasions . Dev was very professional and attentive . We will be back soon 🙂
Great venue with a lot of promise. Superb location.
Stunning location. Very well positioned disabled parking. Menu to please many different palates. Starters were excellent. Family members raved about seafood pasta. Desserts strong but could be even better. Impressive wine by the glass selection. Will definitely make this a long lunch holiday must.
Great service, food and views !
Dinner food was up to the standard of any hatted restaurant
Great view and accommodation
Beautiful restaurant on the water, however the service was terrible. It was not even that busy but the staff ignored us when we arrived and we waited for a while to be seated as they kept walking past us. We then waited ages to be served for drinks and then again for food. The service needs improving as it was too slow and not really looking after the customers
Very nice architecture and friendly staff
8 of us had lunch at the Sebel and the service was great. Our waitress was very helpful and the lady at the counter allowed us to split the bill. Huge improvement from the first time we ate there. Faultless service all around. The only downside was the price. $9 for fries that were similar to McDonald's and the Gnochonni and Linguni Ragu were overpriced at $33 for quite a plain dish. Was nice but at $33 you expect something special, not a bland dish.
