Great location, buzzing atmosphere, pub food great
Good food atmosphere and service
You are a traditional pub so you should serve real ale. Without that it's a two star Service was goid and staff were friendly. Let me know when you're selling real ale and I'll come back 😁
Great food reasonably priced & friendly staff. Perfect!
Had a good experience here overall - very good service indeed. The ‘eye watering” bill at the end took the edge off it a tad
Very slow service but lovely waiting staff and really excellent food. We will be back.
A wonderful pub. We were a bit late but the lovey staff were very accommodating. Thank you. I would definitely recommend this place to others.
The food was excellent.....nice atmosphere....friendly staff....I will definitely come back and recommend to friends. Thank you
Flying visit to The Duke on route to Abbey Road Studio. The manager was incredible, he accommodated a last minute change in our booking to include extra people on an already busy day. All the staff were lovely, friendly and polite. The food was excellent. Such a lovely change for somewhere to do a lamb roast dinner. It was all perfectly good and a perfect portion size. I highly recommend people visit The Duke of York if you get the chance. Thank you for a wonderful visit.
Staff were really lovely and tremendously helpful. We all had roasts, which were good, except one of the group had undercooked chicken and sent it back but this was dealt with very pleasantly by by the waitress, who was very apologetic and offered a complementary drink. Portions of chicken were really generous. Child's menu was good value. I had two kids with me and staff were lovely to them and about them.
A great time was had by party and the food was top notch.
Excellent evening could not fault anything
As always Enzo and the staff made us most welcome
Great food
The food is fabulous; especially the steak! Service is always excellent. It is a pleasure to recommend this pub.
Excellent Sunday lunch😋
The food was great value for St John's Wood and very enjoyable although for the prices you can't expect exceptional quality. The staff get a 5 star rating because even though our booking had been forgotten (not great!), they went out of their way to make amends and give us a good evening. Could be a little noisy on a Saturday - but only to be expected in a proper pub.
We had a lovely dinner on Sunday evening, thank you. Our party of 7 arrived after the Wembley NFL game, still dressed in our team gear, but were greeted with friendly staff and friendly customers. The food was delicious, most notably the small filet mignon I had. When our daughter had a funny turn and had to lie down and leave her dinner untouched, our waitress had no issues with boxing it for us to take away. Very friendly staff, cosy pub, delicious food. Thanks again!
Relaxing ambient atmosphere - pleasantly attentive service - not too fast/slow. Lovely food - lots of choice
