About Spiga Bistro at Bread Collection
For us only a sourdough hand-crafted base is good enough and contains just four ingredients: flour, water, salt and yeast. It then double ferments for a minimum of 20 hours at room temperature making it soft, light and most importantly easy to digest. You will see your pizza cooking in our traditional wood fired oven. With a temperature over 400 degrees it cooks quickly giving a puffed-up crust and an intense aroma. When you combine this with our Chef’s expert handling and finest sourced ingredients, we believe you will be sure to return. All our pizzas are roughly 11”.
Any bookings for 7 or more people, please call us on 01564772124.
Great bakery/restaurant. Great meeting place for friends. My kids love the gingerbread, cakes and bruschetta too.
Absolutely Brilliant Mr Gilles and the meatballs were mint and my nephew and niece loved the pizzas and salad and olives and the tiramisu was lush See you Soon
As always, really excellent fresh tasty food. Fab service. Will be returning again soon!
Excellent evening. Best pizza in the area and best patisserie anywhere!
Great food, really nice staff, very pleasant experience! Would highly recommend and will definitely be back.
Fantastic bistro! Always enjoy coming here! The food, service and atmosphere are superb.
Not the best start, given they somehow weren’t aware we were a party of 6, suggesting they’d ‘fit us in’ The food was outstanding (as always), but the service very poor. Took 1 hour and 50 minutes between starter and main. We will be back, but really hope the service matches the great food.
Lunchtime visit so it was fairly quiet but good enough for us to return one evening soon.
Another great evening with great professionalism and enthusiasm from manager Jan and his team . Thank you again .
As usual a super lunch at Spiga. Always good food and service. Love it!
Great food and atmosphere. Food took a long time coming, but it was very busy. Also you should ask before piling Parmesan on a pasta dish. I love it but my friend can’t eat it so had to scrape it off. Overall though great night and we will be back. Thanks
Friendly efficient service, food was a little slow arriving but was delicious, thought the meatball portion was small especially for guys, pasta would have been good with it instead of a few potatoes, beautiful cakes and cheese to finish, shame no Pinot by the glass. Lovely atmosphere would def return, a little pricey maybe
We always enjoy our visits to La Spiga and have already booked to return in both November and December!
Background music a little intrusive
Service really quite slow this time. Pizzas good but base undercooked slightly.
Your cakes simply can’t be compared to anyone else’s. Whoever you have baking for you must be some kind of wizard in the kitchen!!!
Had a lovely night. The food was amazing!! We even went back on the Saturday morning to buy some croissants
Lovely evening. Very accommodating when we arrived early.
Need a selection of non-Italian lagers. Food options limited.
A relaxed environment with quality food. The service was superb, we had a glass breakage at the table, it was attended to immediately and one of the pizzas was whipped away and replaced without question.
Lovely as always
Not a big Pizza fan but my husband is hence we went to Spiga....I had the Capriciosa and it was just fab...loved it....the pizza dough is amazing. Service was reallly good and everyone helpful and friendly. Not a huge choice of wines and felt a little pricey...but defiantly will go back!
The manager and all the staff once again gave us an amazing welcome and great evening with good food , especially nice to see the specials menu . Thank you .
Really enjoyed our meal thank you
