About Spices Garden Restaurant
The gourmet Vietnamese restaurant is inspired by the "Hanoi Street Food" concept where we bring Hanoi street food dishes directly to the table in a luxury setting. Dishes are expressly fresh and often prepared a la minute. Staple Hanoi dishes such as "pho" noodle soup, "bun cha" spicy barbecued pork, "cha ca" - fried fish, are all cooked to order in the traditional Vietnamese style.
On Saturday nights, enjoy the sumptuous BBQ buffet at the patio with various selections.

Service was rather slow, food quality wasn’t up to value of money
Excellent food and service. Very friendly and helpful staff even with the stress of a full restaurant during Tet!
Food is not good enough as 5 star hotel.
In general very good! Will return in the future!
Our clients said the waitress who served our table was a bit rude as she asked to clear the dishes more than three times when there were still plenty of food on dishes. Our guests asked her to leave the dishes there as we need to finish all the food before the restaurant bring out the next courses. It seems everyone were in the hurry and they wanted clients to finish as soon as possible.
Overall pleasant and satisfying. Staff were highly competent and attentive.
Great service. Great seafood. Would recommend to friends and definitely return again.
Got a special time with good food.
Good Vietnamese food, very special and good service.
Great venue, fantastic staff and high-quality food! Menu could use a bit more variety, and is priced slightly higher than comparable restaurants, but the service was top notch and made for an overall very enjoyable experience.
I forgot to bring my accorplus membership card and the restaurant staff was very kind to help me to check it from the hotel system. Very good and attentive service. Food is really great too. I will definitely come back whenever I travel to hanoi.
Appetizers are very good. Maun course not really special. Over-rated. Service totally over the top - irritating. And als irritating that at 22:00 they already start cleaning. Ofter vietnamese restaurants in Hanoi similar or better quality; certainly taking into consideration price-quality. Disappointing. Mainly guests that think high price is good quality
Good quality and nice place
Thumbs up for king prawns. Decent environment and great service.
Here is a wonderful way to taste the various dishes of Vietnam. The choices are overwhelming and all were yummy!
Lovely stylish hotel with personal service
Excellent service, good food, pleasant setting
Flamed banana is a must :)
Excellent - the best Vietnamese dinner we have ever had.
The food was excellent & the service was impeccable. The restaurant manager Mr Long is an asset to the hotel. My daughter is on a medically strict gluten free diet and he took exceptional care of her dietary needs. We had dinner at Spices again on Saturday 8th July & look forward to dining there again when we return to Metropole Hanoi from Halong Bay on the 11th July.
Attention and friendliness of staff was First Class
Von "vietnamesisch" keine Spur Unterste Mittelklasse eines Buffets ohne Service $ 75.- durch nichts gerechtfertigt, auch nicht durch den Namen Metropole
Brilliant food and atmosphere----first rate
