Although we could not actually have a meal at Spago last Sunday, we have such great memories from eating there when it was open, that we decided to have a virtual meal at Spago this time around. We both had the virtual oysters, which were great washed down with virtual vintage champagne. I then had the virtual pork and my wife the virtual sea bass. Both were perfect. We shared a virtual chocolate pudding that was sublime! Great food and great service, once again !! Crispian & Roselyn, Rochester, Kent December 2020
I booked online as it was stating it was open. We travelled over 30 miles each way (a journey of 50 minutes each way), myself and a friend - for it to be closed when we got there. Disappointing
The usual high standard has been maintained. Our favourite restaurant where al aspects ( food, atmosphere and service) are all delivered constantly to the highest standard.
Service was so slow. It took 15-20 mins for our drinks to arrive, then water and second glass of wine arrived as we finished our meal, we refused the pointless water. My husband had finished his wine and coffee before my dessert arrived, just as we asked to cancel the order & bring the bill. Pasquali was an ignorant and arrogant server. Food was decent but service let the experience down badly.
Always a lovely ambience. Really friendly staff, (Pascale served us with charm and humour), and delicious food. A great experience.
Excellent service, first class food, great value, would re/commend to friend's and family , We will be seeing you soon, J Benko,
Excellent lunch, fabulous service, and great time overall as usual
Been a few times and loved it everytime! However, on my most recent visit, The waiter did not check back off food to see if it was all okay for us. Although, I do understand this as they were very busy :)
We had the Sunday lunch deal which included a bottle of wine for £30, great food as always.
I would just like to say that it was the best Sunday Roast I have ever had, lovely atmosphere and excellent service.
Fantastic food, choice and service. Great value for money and attentive staff made our afternoon most enjoyable. Looking forward to returning soon.
We had a lovely brunch with attentive & friendly staff.
Not the usual atmosphere due to being in Tier 3 restrictions, however we have eaten with you many many times over the years (both inside and outside). We always enjoy the atmosphere and your staff are top notch.
Very friendly staff. Food good. Cleanliness excellent. visited many occasions over the years and standard always maintained. Visiting again tomorrow before the second lockdown
Very nice evening outside with the heaters on.
Excellent all round. Good service, food and atmosphere.
We live in Adlington, Chorley and we travel to Lytham one for a walk but mainly to visit your restaurant. We are always made welcome by the extremely attentive and friendly staff. The food is well presented and appealing as well as very palatable. Keep up the good work. We will be back again soon.
Excellent food, great service and convivial surroundings!
Lovely atmosphere. Fantastic food
Lovely food and atmosphere. Staff are great. Favourite place to go and take our dog x
The Keralan monkfish curry was dry and bland and the monkfish had no texture as if it had been overcooked. Otherwise the food was good. There were some rowdy people in the restaurant who didn't seem to be eating only drinking which spoilt the atmosphere. Those poeple didn't appear to be a household group (2 middle aged men and a woman shouting and swearing). Restaurants are supposed to enforce the tier 3 lockdown rules and no one did which makes us feel uneasy about going to restaurants at the moment
Excellent meal, made everyone feel welcome and at ease with the COVID-19 restrictions. Made a fuss of the children cannot fault them.
Yet another great meal
The roast dinners were amazing. The only thing I'd. Say is the puddings were not as good as the mains. Service was amazing. Made to feel very welcome and will definately be back
