Set in the heart of leafy Lytham, overlooking the main square and
what is now known as the restaurant quarter, you will find Spagó Seafood Restaurant. A superior dining experience featuring an exceptional menu designed and executed by Executive Chef Felix Santoni and his team. From fresh locally sourced seafood, highest quality steaks and delicious pasta dishes the menu is a delight for any food lover. Throughout the year we run seasonal set menus and specials along with a luxury breakfast that can be enjoyed al fresco most of the year under our heated canopy.
Really good restaurant with a nice vibe. We sat on the terrace and it was a lovely place to enjoy the food.
Eaten here several times now, breakfast lunch and dinners and every time it’s been beautiful. Even when it’s festival week and the town in manic, the service is still friendly and food wonderful
Another lovely meal...and some great songs from Rod Stewart!! Many thanks x
This is a great venue that coped brilliantly with our reservation at the busiest possible time - pre-event during Lytham Music Festival. The food was simply brilliant (as always). Service was of a good standard and very courteous given how busy they were - only minor issues were not getting the water we asked for (bar was ridiculously busy) and then losing our bill which delayed paying a bit. Otherwise would be 5 stars all around - again.
Beautiful food, drink and surroundings. However the restaurant was clearly overbooked and this sadly made for an uncomfortable atmosphere that wasn't relaxed with staff looking and acting understandably stressed.
Fantastic meal on a lovely day.
Food excellent Service absolutely diabolical. Ridiculously under staffed, we reserved the table 6 months in advance and the table was booked for 4 o clock and we didn't get the table until 5 o clock and had to wait an hour for our drinks to come. When we went to pay the bill we were wrongly over charged by £50. We have been coming every year for the last 5 and we are totally disappointed.
Fabulous as always Great food quality
Went for lunch on lytham festival weekend. Restaurant very busy with a good lively atmosphere. Food was fab, other half especially enjoyed the Tiramasu and he's sampled quite a few in his time! Highly recommended and we'll definitely be back.
Our dining experience was a superb compliment to our first Lytham Festival experience. Thank you SPago
Spago never disappoints! Despite it being festival weekend there was still amazing food and service. Can’t wait to come back!
The team were brilliant on what was a very busy night (Kylie festival night).
Good food but starter slightly over cooked. No gluten free menu available. Table location was directly under the speaker and music quite loud. Good service and good atmosphere. A little over priced though.
We went for a meal yesterday and considering that it was The Lytham Festival and extremely busy the service and food were excellent!
We had lunch here and the food was delicious. Vibrant atmosphere and excellent service.
Excellent customer service, made to feel special for my mum’s birthday. Really appreciate the effort to enable us to sit outside. Many thanks
I appreciate it was the festival and therefore extremely busy which is why I had pre booked, however the service was slow and then finally being approached out of the blue and told sternly “madam you need to move NOW” when we hadn’t even finished our meal/last drinks, had been kept waiting for service during our visit, apparently so our table could be used to extend a table which was being made up for another party who had arrived, this was absolutely appalling treatment. One party next to us had started their meal on two square tables and ended up all 5 of them sat round a tiny round table shoved in a corner to have their desserts for the same reason. Manners cost nothing and your front of house manager had no manners yesterday and was rude to me and other customers, it shouldn't matter how busy a restaurant is, this was utterly appalling customer service, As a local and a paying customer I will not be returning anytime soon.
Last minute booking with friends. Weather was nice and offered a table outside. Lovely lively atmosphere, staff attentive and food good.
Fab meal and great service as always
Food a bit bland
Initially had to wait 35 minutes for my first drink. They then brought a bottle of wine over which we didn't order. They then brought 2 pizzas over which again we didn't order. Our waiter was changed half way through for some reason.Mussels came with no bowl for the shells, no finger dips, no utensils. Desert also cam with no utensils. Tony the owner was extremely nice and apologetic. I must add that the service and food is normally great ....I have no idea what happened on this evening though I shall be back .
Always a pleasure to dine here! Great food and service!
Food was great, service was a little lacking - had to wait over minutes for the bill
Great Med Food. My wife had a Tapas selection whilst I had the best Beer Battered fish n chips every with the freshest green minty peas. I also had to help my daughter finish off her huge stone baked pizza!
The obviously new waitress needs some training. The staff really impressed on an earlier visit and it was a little disappointing not to have the same cheery and very good Italian waiters but I guess they deserve a day off too! The food is first class, so fresh and imaginative especially the fish specials. Our favourite restaurant when in the area!
