My mum and I have had a number of afternoon teas and to be honest this would be one of our least favourite. The standard of food wasn’t great it was as if it had been sitting for a while apart from the scones which were warm. The tea and coffee came in large mugs and my tea even had the tea bag still in it. We were told we had to pay extra for these as we had Prosecco. I queried this and afternoon checking with the manager we were told that we didn’t have to pay. I wouldn’t be recommending to friends mainly due to the food and for an afternoon tea I would expect to have tea in a teapot and a cup of coffee rather than a large mug.
Lovely Spa day with lunch. Food was lovely.
Great deal purchased through 5pm! Excellent value for money, would come back again. The food could be better, with better choices. Soft drinks were expensive but overall good experience
Staff were really friendly & helpful. Lovely, impressive afternoon tea with Starbucks coffee. Great value for money. I’ll definitely book again.
Lovely food. Excellent waiting staff. Friendly and warm atmosphere. Warm and comfortable pool.
Came here for reservation at 1230 requested a table for 2 adults and a Hugh chair was given a tiny table. There was loads of other larger tables. Ordered food arrived at 1325 waitress response kitchen busy after I chased up where food was. Never got asked if wanted anymore drinks or how food was. Food was disappointing 5 small bits of chicken in tikka and stale rock hard nan bread. Burger tasteless and bun overcooked. Chips and onion rings cold. When asked for bill was told waitress would bring it over then was told to go bar and pay they actually got a paper bill to check. Staff unattentive and could be heard complaining about having to take teas and coffees to customers in some sort of function room. First time here wouldn’t return poor service. I had a deal to use spa but because lunch took so long couldn’t use spa as ran out of time. Certainly wouldn’t recommend coming here
Restaurant had no record of the booking when we arrived. Also, we had booked for 5.45 and were advised on the day that dinner is not available until 6pm, though this did not create and issue as we were seated straight away. Service very friendly though long wait for food. Portions on the small side.
Afternoon tea was lovely, good variety of cakes and sandwiches. Would recommend and cannot wait to come back. Thank you
Very nice afternoon tea and plenty of food.
Food fantastic and beautifully presented. The service was fairly slow but think all food was being cooked to order so this would explain the wait time. Otherwise a very enjoyable lunch, would return again.
Great itison deal. Lunch and leisure
This was a spa lunch offer, excellent value for money. Leisure facilities, possibly best we've experienced for a hotel. Lunch very good. Complaint about chips being cool soon rectified. Not exactly convenient for us, a fair drive away, but would return to take advantage of this offer.
Myself & my mum had afternoon tea yesterday & it was lovely. The staff were attentive & friendly & I would definitely return.
Many thanks to Shirley who was top notch with her service for our afternoon tea xxx Will be back in December to stay overnight . X
Food could of been better
Very friendly and attentive staff - thank you very much.
My husband and I were given a voucher for our anniversary and were really disappointed , the sandwiches did not appear to be fresh and the cakes were just ok. We have been to many afternoon teas elsewhere which I have to say were so much better .
My sister and I came for afternoon tea. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. My sister also remarked on the cleanliness of the toilet areas. Seating was comfortable and the whole experience was enjoyable. Both of us viewed the Menu and Intend to return.
had a lovely afternoon tea with my gran for her 91st birthday she enjoyed it. only thing I would say is to have more options for sandwiches for vegetarians as there was egg mayo on everything. even something like cheese salad or cheese and tomato would be a change
Excellent afternoon tea... The staff.,food and ambience was first class... 4 different members of staff attended to us and all a credit to themselves and the Hilton.. On the back of this experience I have booked for the Xmas panto... Well done Hilton... Joe
Amazing service and food
Good value for money, a lovely clean venue with helpful and friendly staff
I’ve used other Hilton spas, this was my first time in Bellshill. Spa, treatments, staff and food were fab no complaints :)
I was so disapointed with the hightea. I said i had booked for 1 vegetarine and got handed a piece on cheese and tomato just cut in half. My 11 year old son was handed a slate with a mixed selection of food that he wouldnt eat. I thought it would have been nice sandwiches cut into nice shapes with nice filling but was very disapointed with what we got.
Hair found in food - staff don’t communicate with each other. I had multiple members of staff interrupt my whole meal. Running back andforward to get the correct tokens to enable us to have lunch and use the pool. Would not return.
