Really difficult to find fault with anything, to be honest. Would highly recommend Soul as somewhere to go to eat and drink.
Work Christmas lunch . Service quite slow though food was good . Would have lunch here. Again. .
Our party of 8 enjoyed a fabulous meal and the service was exceptional. One of our party had extra dietary needs which the chef went out of his way to discuss and cater for. Service was a little slow but it was explained that there were a couple of new chefs still getting to grips with things which was quite understandable. Our waitress was extremely attentive. All in all an excellent experience.
Place is looking amazing with Xmas decor. So welcoming.
Had a great xmas meal, only complaints were not enough bread (1 slither) with soup / broth. Other than that everyone was delighted with the meal, service and atmosphere! Hey if the only moan was extra slice of bread then you've done very well in my book!
Great food and drink, cocktails a little bit pricey but only what can be expected in the centre of Aberdeen. Everyone enjoyed their time on Saturday.
Some of the portions were extremely small, so not value for money. The table had been booked for a later time and we were asked to move to a different table once we had finished eating. If the table had been booked again, surely we should have been advised that the time limit was 2 hours. Not sure that Soul will be in our Top Ten for meeting. Overall quite a disappointing effort from Soul.
The haggis and cheese toastie was really disappointing. It was really dry and was only 1 slice of bread folded over. The side salad was a bit rubbish. The cajun fries were nice.
I really enjoyed it here the cocktails were fab and everyone was nice but the service was really slow which made getting drunk difficult but would come again.
Thank you for a great evening.
When I came in to pay my cocktails i ended up waiting 10 minutes just to get to the toilet as no one could work the lift. I thought the woman who took the booking would have put a note ‘bride is a wheelchair user’ so that the lift was ready for me. Your staff couldn’t even find the key for the lift on the 25th when we were there for our cocktails. My friends had to help me up the stairs so I could do my session, luckily I can walk a bit but not every wheelchair user can. I understand you may not get many wheelchair users in you building but things like no one being able to find the key is why. And no one came up to me later and told me they’d found the key, your staff just assumed that it was fine. The disabled toilet was disgusting because everyone was using it and someone broke the toilet seat, maybe a radar key lock would be benificial if you care. I felt the cocktails were rushed and for £20 each it wasn’t enough. The mixologist who took out session was very lovely but we felt he was inexperienced. The seating for doing it isn’t good as you couldn’t speak to people.
Made a reservation, turned up and was greeted with "Sorry we have no tables". When I said we had a reservation , the waitress said I never made one. I said it was online and I had confirmation and I was told that there was no reservation made and they had no tables. It was a Saturday night in the city and you would be hard pressed to find somewhere else that was free. We weren't offered to sit at the bar, we weren't offered a table later in the night or even a drink. We were told to go because there was no room. Seriously disappointed and was surprised to receive an email asking me to review my time there.
Came from Glasgow for a birthday celebration and had a great meal and the staff where extremely helpful. Fab atmosphere and very trendy bar. Would come back again.
Really enjoyed our visit food was lovely and plenty of it portions could of easy been shared with two. We will be back when we are in Aberdeen next thank you

Amazing service eapecially by Cam Made my daughters 18th night out very special
Booked Soul for a Hen Party of 25!! From the moment I booked they couldn’t have been more helpful. I was able to drop off banners, bags etc and the staff set them out fantastically for our arrival. We all had the set menu which was great value at £20 for 2 courses and everyone had only good comments about their food. The service from staff was also great. I would definitely recommend and if ever I was organising an event like this again I would have no hesitation in going back.
Thank you for a lovely afternoon
