Unfortunately the meal was truly awful-I had mussels the sauce of which looked like recycled dishwater. My husband had the sirloin which was of a massive sub- standard quality and was undercooked tough and stringy. Warning bells should have sounded when the meal was served 5 mins after ordering-we booked for 7pm and the meal was finished by 7.30-quicker than MacDonalds! Will never be back and would dissuade anybody I know from visiting-awful!!
The staff, particularly Anne went above and beyond for my lunch reservation ensuring our needs were met.
Great service and atmosphere
Food was delicious, friendly staff, I will definitely be returning
Absolute fantastic place to dine out in the atmosphere, service, food and surrounds is first class. I definitely would reccomend this place it's top notch. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was top class very tasty and well presented. It was definitely well worth it.
Very disappointed in the lack of services available in the hotel, this hotel boasts the spa facilities etc but we were unable to use these due to them being fully booked out & the room was very poor considering the cost of the stay. Basically waste of a relaxing weekend away.
Everything was perfect really really enjoyed our evening here! Food was homely and very tasty. Our server Amy was an absolute delight and nothing was to much trouble. Felt very safe and secure with all of the covid precautions that were in place.
A lovely dining experience . Very relaxing atmosphere. Very professional and helpful staff
We prebooked The Percy French for 4 adults on Tuesday 22 September at 7.00pm,which was confirmed by email. On Monday 21 we received a reminder email for our booking. When we arrived at the venue the whole place was closed. We enquired at The Slieve Donard hotel why The Percy French was closed to be told due to an incident at the restaurant they had closed it. It was strange that we were not informed as they had our contact details. We were disappointed the Percy French had not contacted us.
Amy in the Percy French provided excellent customer service
Food was amazing as usual! My table had a lovely evening and staff were very attentive. We couldn’t have asked for a better waitress Amy R, who was pleasant and chatty which was perfect for a bubbly table of 4 women! Thanks to all!
Great food and drinks. Brilliant service and chilled atmosphere
Great food and great service. Amy was very friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend here.
Poor Covid compliance staff not wearing masks or visors tables far too close together
Excellent service and the entire restaurant felt clean and safe. The food was lovely and we had an overall enjoyable experience.
The mussels were particularly tasty
No social distancing, poor covid-19 safety measures. Enjoyed the food, but left feeling uncomfortable at the amount of people who walked right past our table with social distancing thrown out the window during a global pandemic! The staff did not have any face shields or masks on - why!? You wouldn't think there was a virus going around! Disgraceful.
Great experience. Staff were so lovely very welcoming and very professional z
Good bistro bar with decent selection and good atmosphere.
Lovely ambience. Friendly staff
Limited menu. Good batter on fish but not sure about quality of the actual fish. Server Amy v.g. But all staff seemed happy and energetic. Nice to get out again. Don’t think got much benefit from VAT reduction.
Really good food & drinks.
