Our experience was disappointing. Whilst the venue is amazing, however the service was very bad and the food was not up to standard. We had to wait a long time for food, wrong plate was offered 3 times. Finally when the food arrived it was cold and mediocre.
Was cold and loud but felt covid safe as everything well spaced and lots of ventilation
The space is waaaay too cold. Also, the first girl that served us appeared to be miles away, got our table number wrong and had to ask her like three times for hot water bottles, I don't know if she was on drugs or something but terrible service from the tall blonde girl.
Definitely too cold for enjoying the nice atmosphere
The only issue is that it’s too cold 🥶 that kills a bit the atmosphere.
The food was revolting. A vegetarian platter - how wrong can you go. It was horrible and £20!!! 6 sundried tomatoes that were so vinegary, 7 olives, a few peppers and some potent mushrooms. Horrid
Disappointing service and terrible food e.g. raw defrosted wedges, cold sausage rolls, random replacements brought for food that had run out without asking what we would like instead, had to speak to 4 members of staff for what should be a standard process of changing an order when something isn't available. Drinks were good.
The food and drink were very overpriced for what they were, the bar was freezing, and although the servers were lovely, it was a while before they came over
Great space and pretty good service. Food was cold and burger was dry, very disappointing.
Nice views and garden but bar doesn't meet expectations.,isn't worth money. Probably restaurant is better but bar is not a right place to eat, too low table, stuff in jackets, like a food hall in supermarket. Been waiting for stuff to get a table for 10 minutes and then shared it with couple of teenagers kissing whole evening. Was too cold inside and food wasn't really nice. Meat board £20 but not tasty, olivier salad £15 was ok. Cocktails were quite good. Was there first time just to enjoy views and once at the bar with food and drinks, will only recommend free ticket to visit garden that was impressive but not bar.
It was way too cold. There should be heaters around tables to keep it warm. Atmosphere and Christmas decorations were amazing. Apart from that all good.
Where I was seated was directly behind a Christmas tree, so there was no view at all and as you can imagine the reason for attending was mainly for the views of London, I asked to move to an empty sofa and was told NO the whole time I was there this sofa was actually free the whole time.
A fun treat. Great views and fantastic service. Disappointes with the actual garden, which seemed to be more if a gimmick than a sustainable concept. Very expensive. Which limits the crowd.
Excellent customer service - burger bun was rock solid however I complained and the entire meal was quickly replaced. Very friendly also. Atmosphere was quite cold and soulless.
It’d be even better if you had some outdoor heaters to warm the bar space up on cold nights! Service was slow despite multiple waiters being made aware we were still waiting for dishes to arrive once the mains had been delivered. Lovely view, but probably wouldn’t come back to dine.
Bun on burger was like a rock. Was much colder than we anticipated but the hot water bottles and blankets are a great idea.
Really poor service. The food was terrible.
It was a little chilly and the advertised DJ wasn’t there for at least first hour of the 2hr booking - however it didn’t matter - the staff were beyond amazing - friendly, cheerful, happy - they (especially Yvonne) really made the evening special. Definitely worth going.
It's an incredible venue with wonderful views of London. Unfortunately we were made to sit at a table in line with the door that opens on to the outdoor balcony. Due to this we were very cold and it did spoil the evening slightly.
The food was terrible. I understand that the bar usually wouldn’t serve food and due to covid restriction is now required to. But it completely tarnished the experience. £16.50 for a burger with no sauce, or relish - just a patty with a thin layer of cheese on a dry bun. Portion of chips which came with the burger was tiny. The vegan burger was in someways worse - also on a bone dry bun, the patty was just flavourless mush. The two restaurants in the Sky Garden serve high end food - why could this not be replicated? It’s a gorgeous space and when restrictions change I would happily return for a drink. But right now, the lazy attempt at a food menu ruins it.
The food was served cold.
The food is honestly awful, we ordered the vegetarian platter to share as our ‘substantial meal’ and it was reminiscent of plane food. Not to mention it was £20. Cocktails are average, the sort you would get in a bar like revolution but £13 instead of 6/7. It’s a shame really because it’s a lovely space and experience but I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone, if you’re after a good view go to the Shard.
Very disappointed. The Camembert was under cooked so we sent back and were then sent another uncooked Camembert which was not melted. Was sat in the upstairs part so wasn’t Christmasy and quite a dead atmosphere. The staff were irritated and unfriendly. Over £25 for a small glass of champagne per person is an absolute waste of money. Would not return to the sky bar and Moët should be ashamed to put their brand name against such a poor event.
Great night out would fully recommend. Did not disappoint.
