About Six by Nico Glasgow
Six by Nico will be home to a series of carefully curated and constantly evolving restaurant concepts.
Each six weeks, Nico and his team will serve a brand new six-course tasting-menu – each one themed upon a different place or memory.
Lovely food which was good value for money and a great atmosphere with music that matched the theme of the menu. Our server was lovely but did bring each course a little too quickly. We chose to have the wine pairing and hadn't finished our current glass before the next glass and course arrived, it did make us feel like we were being rushed out the door.
The fifth visit to Six by Nico and the most disappointing. We had a table booked at 2100 and weren't seated until 2120ish. I appreciate that the length of time taken by customers to eat is out of staff hands but a 20 minute wait at that time of night is too much. It pains me to write this but the food just wasn't the same quality as on previous visits. Spam and Mash was some sort of watery mush with way too much 'mash'. Prawn cocktail could have been from anywhere. The courses got better towards the end but the level of imagination and strength of taste expected wasn't there! As usual the price and service was good. People will rave about this menu as the do about all menus but for me; my first disappointment from Six by Nico.
Really fabulous – couldn't fault it. The staff were so lovely and the food was amazing.
One of the best dining experiences my partner and I have ever had. The service was so friendly, informative, and relaxed, whilst the food was absolutely delicious, paired to perfection with a unique selection of wines (and cider!). Would recommend eating at Six by Nico's to anyone, and hope to be back soon.

Fantastic lunch - couldn't fault anything.
I cannot get enough of this place. The food is always fantastic, the drinks are always great. Most importantly, all the staff are knowledgable, friendly, happy and help create a fabulous night.

Can't fault the restaurant. Everything was superb. We'd looked forward to coming and were not disappointed. We were especially impressed by the waiting staff who described the courses and accompanying drinks with great passion and enthusiasm. It added to an already excellent experience. Excellent meal, fantastic service & astounding value for money
Have been wanting to try the restaurant for a while and am so glad I finally got round to it. Food was flawless and the service was perfect. Will definitely be back and will be recommending to others.

The food was absolutely amazing and the service was way beyond the standard experience in many restaurants in Glasgow. Loved it and will definitely be back.
The 70's menu has been the highlight of the themes for me so far this year! The black garlic emulsion was new and something I would have again. Also the trifle was sublime - I could easily have eaten 10 without breaking a sweat. As per usual our waitresses were very attentive and friendly with good knowledge of the food and wine pairings despite it only being the second day of the theme. Really would recommend it for everyone to try!
We had to wait over 30 minutes for our penultimate course which was not ideal. Waitress was very nice and apologetic regarding this, when she realised we were waiting. Better planning could have been put in place to address the issue as diners who were seated after us were finished their experience and left before us.
It was a great experience. We had the first night of the 70s menu - I wasn’t keen on the duck. Far to hard to cut, and think confit would work better on its own However - every other course was sublime. We’ll be back x
