I understand the situation we are all in and appreciate the effort yr staff all made in trying to make the experience as normal as possible. Thoroughly enjoyed my meal.
Excellent food and service
Food was delicious & the staff were helpful with good customer skills. Food took slightly longer but we were informed before hand & under the circumstances they done well. The food was well worth the wait .
My friend had the chicken tempura. Usually this is served with a sweet chilli sauce, most restaurants also provide soy sauce as well as the chilli sauce. The sauce on the plate looked like dried up mayonnaise. When she requested the sweet chilli sauce it came in a tiny, tiny dish, completely inadequate for the meal. My friend also ordered the strawberry cheesecake. Again, this was a minute portion, about the size of a tablespoon and had no flavour. She asked me to try some and guess the flavour - I couldn't hazard even a guess. Even the colour didn't offer a clue as it was very pale. My beef burger was very disappointing, not what I expect in a restaurant, more suited to a takeaway. When I cut into it, it looked processed and very unappealing. We were not aware at the time of booking that it was the £10 offer subsidised by the Govt. The date and time of the venue was chosen for convenience. I believe this was a special menu being offered to customers who participated in the £10 deal? That is still no excuse for the poor quality of the food. I was also dismayed to see children running about the restaurant floor shrieking which made conversation very difficult. A member of staff, obviously from the kitchen, also appeared and chatted to a nearby table, with no attempt at social distancing. Given the current strict hygiene rules, should kitchen staff be entering the restaurant at all? All in all, not an enjoyable experience and I would be reluctant to recommend to friends. The only saving grace was the waiting staff who were courteous and friendly. I am only grateful that we didn't have to pay the usual standard price for the meal. I am sorry to give such negative feedback but in these difficult times I feel it is important that you are made aware of any shortcomings so that improvements are made where necessary.
I had a lovely lunch,first time out for lunch since covid19 pandemic ,I felt very comfortable and safe the staff are amazing looking forward to my lunch although I was a bit disappointed in my dessert I ordered sticky toffee pudding which was delicious the toffee sauce was inedible as it was still like granulated sugar apart from that 5 stars
First time since lockdown in a restaurant. A very enjoyable experience. The standard of cleanliness and distancing was excellent.
Good food at a good price
Lovely restaurant with a nice relaxed atmosphere, food was delicious, will definitely be back.
Visit here all the time with family and friends, we all love it. However on this occasion the service was dreadful as were staff attitudes. I hope this is addressed as it would put off many customers loyal or not.

I was really impressed with the new setup the table next to us was a good distance away. Think it would be good to have the doors open slightly when it is nice outside. Our meal was lovely. Only downside was our kids favourites have been removed from the new menu: Steak Pie & Lasagne.

We both had Katsu curry. Rice was a bit tasteless and not enough sauce. Not a big portion for the money either
If there are delays due to social distancing in the kitchen then please make customers aware of this on arrival. Waiting an hour from ordering to getting a breakfast in a quiet restaurant with no communication isn’t good. When we did get our food the poached eggs were hard boiled and the butter for the toast had melted. It had clearly been sitting under heat in the kitchen for way too long. By this point we were so hungry we ate what we were given as we didn’t want to wait any longer. I want to support this restaurant but don’t know how many more chances I can give as it wasn’t the best prior to lockdown. Investment in staff training is needed. They lack urgency and direction. The ambiance isn’t great either. Depressing tunes on the sound system whilst the big TVs played the most recent footage of the bomb blast in Beirut. All of these things count to the experience your guests have in your establishment. Si was great when it first opened, what has happened?
My family were disappointed with our experience of Si on Tuesday night. Service was slow and the food was poor. My son had fish and chips- the batter in the fish was undercooked and soggy.. I had Cajun pasta.. the pasta was over cooked and very little chicken in the plate ...the crushed avocado started was puréed and a poor serving considering the cost .. we had 3 serving .. highly disappointing.. I am sorry to be writing this as so want to support local restaurants ... I never complained at the time as the staff looked tired as it was a late evening booking .. I am due to be eating at Si again next week with friends but I will be changing the venue. Kind regards
Chicken tempura was lovely. The chicken katsu curry was massively disappointing - it didn’t have the usual harder batter, it was very bland, lacked sauce and was mildly cold as well as having 3 massively overcooked prawn crackers with it. However the Cajun wrap was again lovely!
I don’t even know the young girl that was serving us but she was fantastic, couldn’t do enough for us the service was at its best especially with all that’s going on. Felt very comfortable.

I gave 5 stars for value for money only because of the gov promotion. I was very dissatisfied with the food.
Tables weren’t clean right. The metal part around all the tables not just mines No one was washing them . Took my mum who hasn’t been out the house as she’s been shielding. Let the supervisor know. I’m not one for making comments like this but to be honest really disappointed I thought it would be safer going to your restaurant durning this time. never seen one staff member use hand gel in between customers. Have to say the food was absolutely amazing really enjoyed the meal.
Thanks for taking the time to write your review. I'm disappointed to hear that you don't believe that the team were sanitizing tables effectively. We have a strict cleaning regime in place and the team are spot-checked on procedures regularly. Unfortunately, it is possible that due to the unprecedented levels of business (due to the government's discount scheme) that the staff, on occasion, did not fully adhere to our company protocol. This is obviously unacceptable and the team will be re- briefed on this responsibility. Also, rest assured that the team are either washing or sanitizing their hands between each interaction. There are sanitizers placed at every workstation as well as in staff-areas in addition to the numerous dispensers throughout the restaurant floor.
Staff did very well to cope with the high volume of diners.
