Delicious, will definitel be back!
We were concern with regard to the Covid precautions, We noticed that table were not sanitised between customers, there was no one way system or separate entrance or exist. When a member of staff was questioned about it they said they were very relaxed about it. On a separate note the shower in our room didn't work, which we report on checking out and our breakfast was served cold. We stayed on a few of occasions now and it is one of our favourite places so we felt a little disappointed. As regard our stay,
Very slow service and no social distancing compliant.
Staff were great, food was excellent. Only down fall was no tables outside but is to be expected on a sunny day and in no way a reason to dispute the high standards in all areas. Our first meal out of lockdown and we were not disappointed.
Food was excellent but unfortunately there were too many barking dogs!
No sign of any social distancing or prevention, there was a hand sanitizer but didn't see it until leaving. the price of prosecco had gone up significantly, since before lockdown.
Such a lovely place to visit; food was superb and staff are extremely friendly and helpful. We stayed the night and had dinner, breakfast and lunch here too. It is one of the nicest places we have stayed and will be back again. We stayed in the Valley Suite. Would totally recommend it. 😊
Excellent friendly service throughout our stay. The Evening meal was well presented and good value. I recommend the sea food platter as a share starter or a main. The breakfast was menu was as good as you’d wish for. The rooms, clean, tidy and comfortable. Will return.
The food we received was very good but the menu very limited also. I’d like to see something a little more exciting than what is currently on there. Also to add one sharing platter that’s seafood seemed an odd choice. Other than that, the food and service was great even for a quiet lunch.
Lovely venue with great service. Really enjoyed our visit and can’t wait to come back again!
We went for an early family tea after walking the Tolkien Trail on the first Saturday of opening after lockdown and the staff at the Shireburn Arms couldn’t have been more welcoming and professional. The food and service were both excellent. There was clear hygiene and cleaning plans in place, which made us feel very safe. The menu was lovely with plenty of choice and reasonably priced. The children’s portions were a good size.
The food was just we hoped it would be - excellent. Service a little slow but to be expected as you were only just reopening. Thank you .
Really happy. Lovely food, lovely place.
1st eve back after lockdown, great job & enjoyed by all, thank you
Everything was brilliant the food was insanely good. Service and staff was outstanding
