About Sedap Restaurant
Drawing inspiration from the Malaysian phrase 'Sedap', which means 'delightful', Sedap Restaurant offers you an unrivalled hub to taste the various culinary pleasures from Malaysia and the rest of the world.
Seafood spread are good, but hot dishes slight disappointed. Could have been better. Soup choices both are Asian, it would be nice with 1 Western choice. Overall the service is good. Staff very friendly. Will recom my family n friends to visit Sedap .
Im so disappointed on payment when I'm not entitled to have 50% promotion during dinner on 29Feb 2020 due to I was booked through Eatigo. I persuaded the cashier, however, he doesn't try to seek help or ask his supervisor due this matter. Im working as travel agency and i will raised this matter up in our travel agency whatsaap group members to inform all the travel agency to aware about this problem.
Staff is attentive. Food variety is not much. Don't think it is value for money. Some food labeling was wrong, which I pointed out to the staff once. After seeing another food with wrong label, I just ignore it and let the staff discover themselves, or let other guests to mention to them.
overall was good! will repeat soon.
I would be expecting a better food quality and choice from a Pullman's dining restaurant. The cool plater such as oyster and mussels were not freshly shucked but frozen. Oysters are so poorly shucked that you may find bits of cracked shells in every piece of oyster. The food choice is quite poor too. It is described that Sedap Restaurant offers a variety of cuisine from around the world but it is not the case here as you may find local dishes such curry and stir-fried dishes. The international food, probably two pizzas and some soup. The service is very poor too. For example, the grilled fish station, the chef at the station does not help to cut and serve the fish but instead asking guest to use the thong to tear up the fish. By the time it reaches my turn to take the fish, the bones and flesh are all mashed up as thong is not suitable cutlery to be used to take fish in whole unless they are cut up to serve. Furthermore, I would assume it is a waste of manpower to station a staff at the station that does not do serving. I am fortunate that I do not need to pay for this meal as I used my voucher for being an AccorPlus Member but it still feels like a ripped off when the food and service is at a quality of an Ibis Styles or Mercure. There are a lot of work that needs to be done to meet the quality of a Pullman experience. I hope my critic serves as a reminder for improvement as I am a frequent visitor to Accor properties through out Asia Pacific and I do look forward to a much-improved Sedap Restaurant.
All is good! Superb tasty 👍🏻
Food is delicious but normal menu buffet that you can find elsewhere. I recommend some fried rice that is cooked by a chef in a station just like majestic hotel. the pastry here is not good . only 1 or 2 is nice the rest is bad. however i love the western food, shrimps, crabs.
Great variety of dessert!
The food was really good..i love my “nasi minyak rice” and egg kurma n the mutton was soft..plus the variety of fresh fish.. only downside was the restaurant doesn’t serve any juice or cool drink for the buffet..it have to be order and its extra charge..only hot water and plain drinking water are given during the buffet..overall anything else is very good..
Tremendous good feel with super VIP waitress and waiters. Big portion, value for money, elegant and prosperous food presentation. Of course, very delicious. Chefs are professional and asking for comments from me after they serve the food which I had ordered.
Very well arranged. Special thanks to Malar for her professionalism and efficiency
We enjoy our dinner. Tq
Went for the New Year Buffet and the selection was very good and everything we tried tasted very well. It was a bit sad that there were not that many people, but this way it was also quite relaxing and easy to get the staff's attention.
Simply fantastic! A very awesome experience!
Not a lot of variety for western cuisine, local cuisine seems to be redundant e.g. kam heong chicken and ayam kicap taste the same. Indian cuisine was bland and cold especially the tandoori and naan bread. Pizza was ok, but the pizza base were ready-made (frozen) and not made from scratch. I think the word "unrivalled hub of taste" is overselling it
Staff were excellent and very smiley and attentive. Appreciated the festive atmosphere created.
Definitely i will dine in again... worth it!
Amazing Christmas lunch with so much variety! Thank you
The food quality improved a lot compare to my first visit. Seafood is fresh and dessert is delicious.
Most of them tasted good, it included Chinese food, Malay, and India, western and some sushi as well. A range of selection on desert, keep your stomach for that if you are desert lover. The only improvement needed is,all the food is not in same area, You might need to keep your eyes to look around on the food. Worth to try with promo rate.
Great buffet spread with the freshest ingredients! Love the atmosphere!
Honest speaking the choices and varieties of food is very limited and I would say is too little. Food are not tasty at all and only drink offered are coffee or tea. Definitely don’t suit children at all. Really hope they can improve it one day.
Very friendly staff Chicken tandoori excellent ..I recommend must try
