About Sea Spice
Sea Spice is a unique amalgamation of exotic Indian cooking within the quintessentially British coastal setting of Aldeburgh. Taking lead from the ancient Spice Route and Aldeburgh's historic role as a valued Tudor port, this new gourmet restaurant unites local Suffolk produce with classic Indian flavours originating some 4,000 miles away. Honouring the breadth and complexities of Indian cooking, Sea Spice offers guests an array of regional dishes from Goan inspired seafood dishes, to tandoor-grilled meats and traditional fragrant curries. Due to the high demand for Sea Spice, we are currently utilising the seating space in both of our restaurants as our other restaurant is currently closed, this means you may not be sitting in the Sea Spice restaurant, but you will still be dining from the Sea Spice menu.

Service for food was a little too quick but service for drink was a little too slow It was not busy so not sure why there was a delay in the drinks Food was excellent as always and staff were very friendly and attentive
Great service. Fabulous food.
Went to Sea Spice for our anniversary dinner and couldn’t be happier with our choice. The food was incredible, staff were friendly and atmosphere was lovely. Definitely would go again!
Fabulous food good drink and relaxed service. Throughly enjoyable; small thing but service could be a little faster.
Fabulous food, excellent friendly service, catered to my dietary requirements with no issues, would highly recommend to everyone!
very enjoyable
Good home made quality to the food. Staff coped well with the Covid restrictions which required drinks to come from different bars.
Absolutely brilliant! Gorgeous meal, great environment, and fantastic service, thank you!
Good food, but poor service and no ambiance.
Sea spice serves perfect high quality Indian cuisine in a wonderfully stylish environment. It’s not cheap but it is always very good .
The starter was spicy so we asked them to one down the mains, but the flavour was still amazing.
We actually ate at Sea Spice on both nights we were at the White Lion. We were very impressed with the decor, the menu both food & wine and the service! A very creative & interesting menu which looked and tasted at least as good as it sounded. We don’t eat meat and were very happy with the range of fish and vegetarian dishes . Thank you very much
Excellent food and service
Great food, starters could of had some salad garnish. Dishes well presented in serving bowls. Staff seen to clean down tables in line with Covid rules regs.
First class food served in a Covid safe environment whilst still retaining a relaxed atmosphere. Attentive service added to an enjoyable dining out experience.
Top notch!
No menu to see what was offered.
An enjoyable experience.
Lovely food and excellent service!
Very accomonating
Excellent food and service. We are regular customers and so pleased we eat there before lockdown. Hope to see you in a month
Stopped in for dinner at the end of a half term mini break. Family of 4. We were well looked after throughout, really attentive staff. Food was delicious, arrived promptly, and we will definitely be back.
Everything great, monjuac vindaloo was awesome.
I am nervous if the White lion branding could diminish the Sea Spice character
Not your typical Indian restaurant, some old favourites and some lovely interesting ideas. The Scallop starter was amazing. Lovely staff and nice atmosphere. If we had to critique anything it would be to have a gap between courses please. Other than that ...FAB, would definitely be on our eat out list next time we are in this area.
