This food was good and a great vibe but the service was not great at all.
Excellent food as always!
The food overall was good. Out of 6 dishes our 2 x the black squid ink tagliatelle pasta was so salty that we had to return it after the first spoon of it. To us it tasted as if there was 5 tablespoon of salt. It was that unbearable. The pasta that came back was just as salty. What we don't understand is that why the chef had not tried it and tried to reduce the salt. Only to find out that the dough cannot be changed. The chef should know better.
Our waiter was wonderful and we were very lucky to have Gorejena sing for us! What a wonderful evening!
Delicious and outstanding as always! The only criticism I can offer, & this may be a personal taste, there should be either much less or even no dill on the ceasar salad.
we sat outside, as the weather was lovely. Nice atmosphere, and the food was good. I had the fish & chips, the hake was flaking nicely! However, at 130ZAR, I found it a little pricey for a piece of fish and some chips.
We enjoyed the meal.. the service & the atmosphere.

The Valley Pinot Noir paired perfectly with the seared Tuna! Squid ink pasta was exceptional and the fish & chips for the kids was delicious!

The pasta was absolutely fantastic! We had black ink tagliatelle with prawn, which was cooked to perfection!

Dear Madame/Sir, I am a great lover of your restaurant and food but i was incredibly disappointed by the service on Saturday lunch 1) The waiter emptied the plate from the left over of the starter in front of us to pile them up making an incredible big noise 2) Beggars were not asked to leave the guest alone so lunch was kept to be interrupted by people asking for money or food. It was really unpleasant not least uncomfortable. the host was there as well other waiters but they did not do anything. I hope this can be sorted as it is not difficult to solve and it is a pity to ruin a nice experience
Good Day Emanuele, I am sorry that you were let down by the service you received this past Saturday. I have arranged and scheduled follow up service and etiquette training with our front of house team for today to ensure improvement in the way plates are delivered to and cleared from the table. Regarding the vagrants, we do try our best to ensure that guests do not get disturbed, but due to the volatile nature some of them have, engaging with them can sometimes be tricky or dangerous. As such, where possible, we use the CCID to engage with and remove them I apologize if this lessened your experience with us. Small menu and wine list but tasty well cooked food. Would have liked more prawn options.

As our menu changes daily to ensure fish is as fresh as can be, you will be likely to find other prawn options available in the future. We currently have Grilled King Prawns served with Couscous, a Grilled Prawn Salad available as either a starter or main, a Seafood Curry which contains prawns, linefish and mussels, as well as our amazing Squid Ink Tagliatelle served with deshelled prawns and wonderful Prawn Taco's available to enjoy on today's menu. The best battered hake in town - crispy and delicious! And the chips are to die for. Staff are knowledgeable and attentive and the atmosphere warm and lively. Good value too! And if you don't believe me, you can ask Ed Sheeran.
