Generally really enjoyed the dinner. Great service. Good quality food with the oysters, squid ink linguini and dessert being the standouts.
Laid back, unfussy and good
The oyster special hours really good value for money. The menu is good and the service is always great.
Food and drinks were very good. Just one little irritant was that we had both ordered the squid ink linguine dish. My dish came with the cherry tomato's clearly visible in the dish. We queried as to why my partners dish had no tomato's visible. They took the dish back to the kitchen where after it was sent back to our table. 'The chef' told the waiter to tell us that the tomato's would be under the pasta. If the bowl was 30cm deep then yes we would have understood this. The chef clearly did not verify whether there was actually tomato's in the dish or not. There was NO tomato's under the pasta and I dont understand why they did not check this in the kitchen before sending it back to the table and saying that it would be under the pasta.
Great food and great service!
The toilet i used there could have been cleaner. You need to have a dark beer on draft. Overall it was a lovely experience, and i will be back, only wish you were opens on Sundays! Thanks!
A favourite for us every time we come to Cape Town . Food as usual was excellent . Girls seemed to have a bit of attitude tonight! Quite unusual ! For the first time we left the car at the hotel . We Ubered over . Only to find no Wifi . Had to go and by a Gin and Tonic next door to gain access to wifi. A great shame that in 2018 no wifi provided .especially as staff use a wifi system to communicate with the Kitchen. Also as a security issue its nice for customers to have the facilities to communicate and gain safe travel back to their chosen accommodation .
Amazing food, wonderful staff, especially Blessings the rum sommelier. One of the most memorable meals in a great setting
Absolutely loved our lunch at sea breeze. It was our last meal after 2 weeks of sampling the western capes finest and it was the best seafood we’d had. Really friendly and knowledgeable service as well.
Good Food. Nice Staff.
Service and food exellent! Resturant is a bit loudly, you need something that can lower the sound.
Total joy. Wonderful dining experience and great addition to some wonderful restaurant in Cape Town
The food was amazing, the staff very professional and nice. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very relaxed and cozy. Prices are a bit steep, especially the wine list.
Please don't offer new glasses for the second bottle of wine. Save the water.
Great oyster happy hour!
Food was fantastic. Wait staff seemed new. Would have preferred if we were not interrupted mid conversation multiple times. Otherwise, lovely atmosphere.
Best oyster special ever! New Cape Town must do!
Superb mojitos; superb food & superb service.
Great food, fantastic service and real value for money.
Oysters were great, starters also very creative and good taste but the main courses a little bit overpriced for what you get. Rather simple and and not worth it. So come for the oysters and Enjoy!
Visited twice. Once at the start of our holiday from the UK and, as a result of the first visit , again on our last day in Cape Town. Great seafood served by friendly and caring staff who genuinely looked to be wanting to serve their customers with enthusiasm and interest. Nice wine list and, by UK standards at least, very good value. Restaurant was full on both visits ( the last on a Monday evening ) so they are clearly doing something right. Great oyster bar with knowledgable server/chef. Pleasant experience in all respects. Highly recommended.
Really something special.
