Ett litet missöde med soppan jag fick som förrätt ( någon i köket hade tappat chili i den) rättades till på bästa sätt. Kocken kom ut och bad om ursäkt, den fanns inte med på notan.

Has success ruined this restaurant? We hadn't been back for a while as it's been booked every time we've tried. So were expecting another fabulous meal. The service was okay but just not really credible. The starters were very good but the main courses were very average. A pity as am always looking for a good fish restaurant.

Nice food. ,the service is perfect,always a smille ,it was little beat noisy outside yesterday night and to hot inside as the air conditionnîng did nt work well

Lovely dinner and very friendly staff. Hake was grilled but still tasty Tuna with salad was just what I felt like as I didn’t fancy anything too heavy The restaurant wasn’t that busy although it looked busier outside Manager booked us an Uber home ... and it was even free which was a nice bonus!
My wife was served a bad oyster - she only picked it up after eating it/ The shell smelt very off - confirmed by the waiter who took it to the chef. The restaurant's response was to replace the one oyster. In my view, serving bad seafood is a major red flag kitchen quality failure. It calls for the chef or the manager to personally apologise (neither did). To then charge for the oysters as well added insult to injury. I paid without complaint, but this is not the kind of word-of-mouth any restaurant wants.
This was a special celebration meal for us - normally this type of restaurant is out of our price league. The rum cocktails we had were excellent, as was the wine list - there's some very good wines on there. Good to see some quality craft beer is also available. We shared the prawn and angelfish tacos for starters, and they were superb. For main course I had the kabeljou - a fish I'd never heard of before. The accompaniments to that were delicious, the fish itself slightly underwhelming (but my no means poor). My wife had the prawns with a bisque; she said the prawns were good but felt the bisque didn't quite work to her preference as an accompaniment; but again, by no means poor. The deserts - apple crumble cheesecake and chocolate ganache - were outstanding. It was late on a Friday evening, so it was very busy. Service speed was fine, though the gap between starters and main was long, the staff communicated well with us. The waiting staff were excellent. We really appreciated the relaxed vibe - a lovely atmosphere. We'd definitely consider this for a special occasion or celebration again, and would be happy to recommend it.
Sehr frische Austern aus verschiedenen Regionen, toll! Alle unsere Hauptspeisen waren exzellent, Fisch, Prawns auf den Punkt gebraten. Der Service sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Wir kamen wegen einer Empfehlung von Barbara Lenhard und geben diese sicher weiter.

Service was slow and not great. Food was over priced and a limited menu. Would not recommend it.

While we do try to ensure that all items listed are available through service, sometimes certain lines will sell out based on popularity on the specific evening. The seating around the edge is a little uncomfortable for a long supper as the seating is very upright and the tables narrow for your legs. Will ask for a proper seat next time so no haste. Everything else superb. 10/10

Food still excellent. I don’t think that you should recommend coming 15 min earlier if your guests have to sit and wait outside as often cold and windy
Hi Cath, Please advise who said you should arrive 15min early? I am aware of our booking confirmation message which mentions tables will only be kept for 15min in the event of late coming without notification or if we cannot make contact with the guest. If it was however our staff who mentioned this, please do let me know, so I can ensure that retraining is done to remedy this and ensure the correct communication is going to our guests.
