About SeaBreeze Fish & Shell
SeaBreeze Fish & Shell brings a fresh take on a traditional seafood restaurant. Celebrating the Mother City’s rich seafood heritage, the focus is on sourcing local, sustainable seafood presented creatively and with a lighter touch.
A favourite for us every time we come to Cape Town . Food as usual was excellent . Girls seemed to have a bit of attitude tonight! Quite unusual ! For the first time we left the car at the hotel . We Ubered over . Only to find no Wifi . Had to go and by a Gin and Tonic next door to gain access to wifi. A great shame that in 2018 no wifi provided .especially as staff use a wifi system to communicate with the Kitchen. Also as a security issue its nice for customers to have the facilities to communicate and gain safe travel back to their chosen accommodation .
Amazing food, wonderful staff, especially Blessings the rum sommelier. One of the most memorable meals in a great setting
Absolutely loved our lunch at sea breeze. It was our last meal after 2 weeks of sampling the western capes finest and it was the best seafood we’d had. Really friendly and knowledgeable service as well.
Good Food. Nice Staff.
Service and food exellent! Resturant is a bit loudly, you need something that can lower the sound.
Total joy. Wonderful dining experience and great addition to some wonderful restaurant in Cape Town
The food was amazing, the staff very professional and nice. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very relaxed and cozy. Prices are a bit steep, especially the wine list.
Please don't offer new glasses for the second bottle of wine. Save the water.
Great oyster happy hour!
Food was fantastic. Wait staff seemed new. Would have preferred if we were not interrupted mid conversation multiple times. Otherwise, lovely atmosphere.
Best oyster special ever! New Cape Town must do!
Superb mojitos; superb food & superb service.
Great food, fantastic service and real value for money.
Oysters were great, starters also very creative and good taste but the main courses a little bit overpriced for what you get. Rather simple and and not worth it. So come for the oysters and Enjoy!
Visited twice. Once at the start of our holiday from the UK and, as a result of the first visit , again on our last day in Cape Town. Great seafood served by friendly and caring staff who genuinely looked to be wanting to serve their customers with enthusiasm and interest. Nice wine list and, by UK standards at least, very good value. Restaurant was full on both visits ( the last on a Monday evening ) so they are clearly doing something right. Great oyster bar with knowledgable server/chef. Pleasant experience in all respects. Highly recommended.
Really something special.
Great atmosphere, friendly staff, fresh seafood and great wine selection.
I think my only disappointment about this establishment is their apple crumble cheese cake which is making me FAT!!! I NEVER eat cake.. but my word is this the most delicious piece of baking mastery EVER! A slice with a glass of the Oneiric Sauvignon Blanc and you are sorted. The food on the other hand is truly top notch! We only ever go for the fish, from the oysters to the tuna steak, fish cakes to the revolving fish of the day - always exquisitely prepared and every mouthful just absolutely delicious. I have heard through friends that the meat is amazing too! Well done to the SeaBreeze team who have without doubt the best fish restaurant in Cape Town - it gets my recommendation (weekly - oh oh! There goes my waistline #butsoworthit).
Will definitely be back!
We found the waiter very knowledgeable and was very helpful in our meal choices. He advised us on a side to compliment our main dish. I thought the whole dinning experience was the best since weve been in Capetown and Ive booked again for saturday.
As always, Seabreeze is amazing.
Our waiter was brilliant, sorry we don’t recall his name.
Service could have been better and starters took almost an hour
