About Scotts Port Edgar
Situated at the Port Edgar Marina, Scotts is a
stunning bar and restaurant which looks out towards
the majestic bridges which span the Firth of Forth.
A luxurious, comfortable interior
complements this panoramic view,
creating a laid-back atmosphere which
gradually evolves throughout the day.
We had a brilliant time at Scott’s Port Edgar recently. The staff were exceptional, so attentive and polite. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was fabulous and the panoramic views were just beautiful. We loved it and can’t wait to go back! Thank you to everyone who contributed to ensure that our party of 17 had a brilliant time to mark special occasion.
Had a great visit! The food was fantastic and faultless! Will definitely be back soon to try some more of the menu!
Fantastic evening at Scotts, staff were so helpful and attentive. Food was great. Staff helped us move out onto the balcony for dessert to enjoy the sunset. Not only arranged tables for us but also provided blankets. So impressed! Thank you!
Just tighten up on keeping jugs of water being available and sufficient wine if still dining !
First time at Scott’s and it is a beautiful place. We had a lovely lunch , great table, and friendly service. My only issue would be the choice of chips used to accompany a meal as the french fries supplied are like out of a fast food place and did not go with the meal. Also the fish and chips, for the price, should maybe come with another accompaniment to the chips (french fries) and a small pot of tartar sauce. Overheard other diners very surprised at the choice of chips as most restaurants these days serve chunky chips of some sort. Just a thought.
A busy restaurant but service on the slow side, late getting our table but also over 2 hours for 3 courses just the 2 of us then struggled to get anyone’s attention to get the bill. Food was great as is the venue and I’m sure service will get better once it’s calmed down a bit!
We had a fantastic night to celebrate Mum's birthday excellent service and food was lovely we will definately visit again and again 👍👍👍
Great place and excellent service.
Excellent all rounded experience, nothing is too much trouble for the extremely helpful, efficient, responsive and pleasant staff!
Most enjoyable experience with superb food and service and being made most welcome on our special occasion.
Knowledgeable and attentive staff served with humour and fun
We have a lovely meal and a very enjoyable day celebrating our wedding and a birthday. Only slight criticism is the wine list in more the expensive side so possibly a house pleasant wine would be good.
Was our first time at the new Scott’s at port Edgar. Was really good. Will be back soon
Great setting which in itself sells this place & good selection of food but service was poor for a family gathering with lack of attention mainly on drinks where we repeatedly had to ask for more.
Soft drinks a bit on the high side eg Favour Tree tonic However see my Port Edgar feedbsck
Many times at Scott's Largs/Troon but first time at Port Edgar. First class food and service by pleasant staff as usual. Will be back! Roy D
As always Buzzworks never disappoints!!! Fabulous food, beautiful setting and attentive staff. Will certainly recommend to family and friends. Looking forward to visiting again. Thank you
Really enjoyed our evening at Scotts the food was lovely and service good despite the fact it was very busy. Plenty staff serving and all were very pleasant. All together a very nice experience.
Being a regular Buzzworks customer we decided to visit Scott’s Port Edgar in South Queensferry for the first time. Great venue / location. Menu choice excellent as well as the service, staff very attentive, efficient and polite. Food was great with only one small criticism, the Lobster, King Prawn Mac & Cheese as a main had only two small pieces of lobster in it but other than that it was first class.
We had a lovely meal. The lunchtime menu was excellent value for money
Wonderful experience, beautiful setting & excellent food, service & ambiance. Can’t wait to visit again.
Fantastic view, fantastic food. Used to Scotts in Troon so tried for a change. Will definitely go back.
We love everything about this restaurant, with just one negative comment. We found every dish we ordered exceptionally good and beautifully presented, matched by professional and warm hearted service. The decor cleverly turns a space that could easily appear cold and uninviting into a welcoming and happy gathering place. We easily found a parking space. My haggis cake starter was stunning, as was my husband's black pudding stuffed chicken. Our single issue is that the overpowering loudness of the music (specifically the bass) detracted from the pleasure of our experience. I do hope that will change because this could be one of our top favourite, regular haunts.
We had a celebration lunch yesterday for a friend's birthday - the staff knew it was a special occasion and in spite of the restaurant bring extremity busy, nothing was too much trouble. Graham Rennie made it extra special for our friend by adding sparkler fountains to get birthday cake and offering us a complimentary drink to start with. Many thanks to all the staff.
Absolutely fabulous in every way!
