About Scotts Kitchen
Overlooking the city’s most photographed street – and just above our sister venue Howies Victoria Street – our menus gently evolve throughout the day. We’ll take you from your first sip of coffee in the morning with a Scotts Big Breakfast to your last glass of wine with locally sourced charcuterie with friends.
We’re also a great spot for events – from small groups getting together for a meal to an all-singing-all-dancing affair with drinks, canapes and dinner.
Super Restaurant zum Frühstücken
We had a large group booking of 28, the service and food were excellent. The value for money was amazing and nothing was too much for the ladies serving us, very helpful. Also the service before hand ie making the booking and organising the menu was brilliant. Thank you for making our event a success xx
great location and helpful friendly staff add to the occasion, but the food and especially the breakfasts are the reason to visit
What a lovely way to start our day of walking around Edinburgh, your breakfast gave us the stamina to do it 👍😁 a delicious breakfast, great quality produce used .
Service was excellent. One less star as the door was open as there were outdoor diners and I realise an open door was easier for staff but there was still a chill in the air and we had to keep closing it after our waitress closed it and a guy kept opening it but it was a minor annoyance. The food was very tasty and we all really enjoyed it. I felt that the main course salmon dish was a little on the 'lean' side not regarding fish but the amount of veg including potatoes and kale/cabbage would have made this 5 stars. Will definitely be back.
Amazing setting ,decent food
Need more staff on at lunch times.
Good food in a nice relaxed atmosphere
We really enjoyed our lunch. Prosecco on arrival was very nice. Service was great and the head waiter knew everything that was going on with orders. Very competent! Food was excellent. Cullen Skink as good as Howies when I last visited. I had Salmon & my husband had casserole of Beef which were also amazing. Red house wine very good too. Definitely would recommend Scott’s to friends.
Everything was perfect! Food awesome (the cullen skink is incredibly good!!) And the staff were very friendly and helpful!
Perfect for a catch up lunch with friends
Lovely little restaurant, great food and great service. Will definitely be back.
First time at Scott’s Kitchen and really enjoyed it. The food was excellent value for money, the service was very good and the restaurant was really relaxed and informal. Would definitely recommend it and will definitely be back.
We spent a lovely afternoon sitting on the terrace food was delicious and beautifully presented . Very relaxed atmosphere and good service . Will certainly return
Had a lovely lunch; menu suited both foodie friends and a fussy 8 year old. Will definitely recommend to others and come back.
Excellent value for money. Friendly staff
Fab food and reasonable. Could have done with more staff. Over al would recommend and return.
This was our first time and we will most certainly be back. The staff were lovely and friendly which added to the calming and laid back atmosphere. The food was quick in getting to us and very tasty would highly recommend Scott's to anyone looking for somewhere to have a nice meal. Thank you for making us feel welcome.
I love this wee bistro - the Cullen Skink soup is the best I have tasted. There is a good selection on the menu, my husband enjoyed the venison casserole. The wine list is small but has a good selection of wines - we had a lovely bottle of Chilean Shiraz. The staff are friendly and professional They also do some canned craft ales. It's well worth a visit.
Excellent service, lovely wee restaurant, food exceptionally good. Will definitely return. Thank you so much, we had a lovely afternoon.
Food was delish - visited as part of itison offer which was great value for money. Prosecco seemed quite over priced in comparison to everything else tho!
Good food, good service, a good lunch spot
I totally recommend Scotts kitchen, I went there with friends for a brunch. The food was very tasty and the juice was excellent. The staff is friendly and the space is cozy.
A bit of confusion with our bill ( we had a gift voucher given at Christmas) but on the whole we enjoyed our meal and would return.
Loved our lunch here. Great value and the food was fresh and tasty. Service was good staff were friendly and attentive
