About Scene Indian Street Kitchen
An Indian Street Kitchen in the heart of Spinningfields Manchester, serving authentic indian street food as well as traditional dishes.
It used to be a really nice restaurant, but now standards have dropped.
Just that our food was waiting to be brought to our table for a while (the kitchen staff kept ringing the bell for the waiters' attention)
Great service, great food and wonderful atmosphere
The waiters say they will come back but never do! & its hard get anyones attention if i need something. Everything's is great besides the customer service. I had stand at the entrance & wait 15 mins before someone came & took my details & my table was booked.
Great evening. Reasonably priced and great ambience.
Fabulous food & atmosphere & we all really enjoyed the shisha veranda too 😊
Food did not contain any salt - had to add own. Even after adding, it was very bland. Very disappointing as we had heard great things.
Definitely would recommend visiting this establishment, food was lovely.. Over ordered starters so didn't eat the main, asked for it to be packed, unfortunately that was the last time it was seen. Didn't complain but would've been nice to get it back!
Felt food was not fresh, felt cold
Amazing staff.. Manager really good and caring
We went on a Saturday night. The place looked well decorated. But there were too many tables which made it look and feel costar phobic! We couldn’t even get past some tables because they were that close to one another and the table sizes were also very narrow which meant we could hardly fit all our food on.The service was very very slow. It seemed a busy night but it was evident there was less staff to meet demands. I had to ask for water about 3/4x before we got a bottle on our table. The street food was good, we had pan puri, paw baji and dosas. The chicken curry was disappointing. Wouldn’t recommend or visit again. It was so noisy and the music was so loud that we couldn’t even hear one another talking. The service was that slow, that we didn’t even bother eating desserts. We just wanted to leave.
Amazing food as always and service 2nd to none
Amazing food, great atmosphere, fab service-thank you
Excellent food and great service
Had a really lovely birthday meal, the food was great and I would definitely come back and recommend others to eat here.
Really poor service, food was mediocre and when I went to pay the bill I was horrified at the state of the reception area! The only saving grace all night was the polish lady, she was fabulous. Everything else was mediocre to say the least!
Very pleasant afternoon staff excellent ,food superb and fair priced, everybody in party enjoyed the food and said they would visit again
Wonderful service , buzzing atmosphere and great food. Thoroughly enjoyed and will return soon.
Fantastic food, Service was outstanding, atmosphere was relaxed as the staff made you feel at home. Best curry I've eaten for a while and I would recommend Scene to all my friends. Will be returning soon !!!!
Decent atmosphere and food was to a reasonable standard. The table was very wobbly and kept moving every so often, the waiter was made aware but didn’t seem to pay much attention to this. Customer service was rubbish with very rude waiters.
The best in Town !
Food was nice, but a little overpriced and portions were quite small.
The lamb chops in particular are incredible!
