Serving breakfast and dinner daily.
Fine dining steeped in history is brought to life again at Scarlett Restaurant the oldest new restaurant in Sydney.
Food was beautifully cooked with flavour and good portion size. Athmosphere and setting is great for intimate catch up with partner, family or friends. Service was great also, highly recommended.
Nice place but small , awkward at times
Excellent food and service. Look forward to returning after the refurb!
Fantastic evening on our wedding anniversary, food was great, staff were very friendly and a great location - the lights could be dimmed a bit to create a more intimate atmosphere.
Great service and good food
The food was excellent in both flavour and presentation. Cannot wait for the renovations to be completed.
My husband & I celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary last week Thursday at Scarlett. We thoroughly enjoyed the quiet, romantic, intimate setting as well as the delicious, yummy food. The service & dining experience was excellent. We look forward to coming back in the future.
Most enjoyable meal. The food was excellent as was the service. We were disappointed we were unable to book a second night as the restaurant was booked out.Now I know why!
Nice to find a small quaint restaurant in a non assuming place. Lovely small restaurant with not too many tables all spaced enough apart to have privacy who you are dining with. Reminded us of a restaurant in Queenstown NZ called the Bunker. Service was perfect and friendly. Nice to have a fine dining feel in a restaurant that isn't large and packed. Not a large menu to choose from so we hope it seasonally changes for when we go back. Scallops were divine and prawn and lobster ravioli very nice. We had steak for main and would have given a 5 review if cooked as asked. We asked for med and med well and received med rare and med. But still very nice. The tiramisu was beautiful for desert with a nice unexpected touch for our anniversary. Will definitely be back. Feedback would be dim the lights guys....it is a beautiful intimate place. Ambiance of low light would create a perfect atmosphere.
Charming and cosy restaurant and the food and wine were very good. Scarlett has been consistent good every time we have been there.
We keep coming back for the steak, They have the most amazing steak and its spot on every time we visit.
We have dined here several times as a couple and the food and service has been good. We took some friends (table of 4) and the service fell apart! Only 3 of 4 entrees arrived with the 4th taking another 15minutes (they did provide this at no charge when we paid the bill). A main course dish then arrived that we had not ordered, but to our relief all 4 steaks arrived shortly afterwards. When they brought the wine, it was a different one which turned out to be due to the fact that they had run out but weren’t going to tell us and pass off the new one! We will dine here one more time as we love the atmosphere and it is rarely busy but if the service doesn’t improve we will not continue.
Didnt like the service. They asked us if we wanted dessert even before we had finished our dinner. They told us the kitchen was about to close so we had to stop our dinner to chose the dessert. The waiter gave me a bottle of beer and a glass but didn't serve me at all. I had to full in the glass by myself. At the end, we had to wait for more than 5 minutes for someno to appear so we could pay the bill because they were doing something else. The service is really bad for what the restaurant intends to be.
Quiet cosy. Food was very well presented.
I found the lobster and prawn ravioli a bit cold, would have been better if it was hot. I wonder if the dry ice has contributed to the dish being less hot. Also a bit short staff on that evening.
Was there on a busy Vivie early evening but staff managed despite the crowd. Beef was good. Cheddar on the cheese platter somewhat dry and looked sliced some time ago. Overall experience was good.
The food and service was very good. It is only a small restaurant but quite and intimate atmosphere in a quite old building. There was an issue which I found, too late, after I had returned home. I was checking my bill and found we had been charged $5 more for the wine that what was the cost on the wine list.
You guys are amazing. On Monday you took my booking for Thursday lunch. On Wednesday you asked me to confirm my booking and I did. Then when we turned up for lunch on Thursday you weren't even open!!
Great food and great service. We love the size of the restaurant and the hotel. Very intimate, cozy and comfortable. Will definitely come back even though the menu is limited with choices of food.
We have always had a great time here
Unfortunately we didn’t have a very good experience at your restaurant. We were celebrating a birthday and had overseas visitors. The menu was very small (doesn’t usually bother us) however a few things we ordered were unavailable. Disappointing given the menu was very limited. The wine we chose was also unavailable and had to go for a more expensive one. Sorry but won’t be going there again and definitely not recommending either
