About Santo Remedio
Santo Remedio is a popular Mexican expression, which means Holy Remedy. We chose this name because Mexico’s food is so central to its culture, that it is considered a remedy for almost any problem. We prepare regional dishes from Yucatan, Puebla, Mexico City and Baja California made with Mexican ingredients like cactus, grasshoppers and Cascabel chiles. Many of the dishes we cook use traditional slow cooking techniques to give them a rich, deep flavour. As such we are a member of Slow Food.
We are proud and excited to share with our customers the true cuisine of Mexico. We hope that for those who have been to Mexico already our food evokes wonderful memories, and for those who have yet to go that it will inspire future travels to this fascinating country.
It was a little noisy in the restaurant but I don't think you can do anything about that, it was just full of people talking so it was hard to have our own conversations
Amazing food and Margaritas at a very reasonable price for London
Great, attentive staff. Food was delicious. Well worth travelling for
Lovely friendly staff and delicious food. Very happy to go back and try more.
I absolutely love coming to Santo Remedio - great food, amazing ambience and staff are friendly!
Really great tasty authentic food. Service was also very good!
Very good service and great food!
Excellent food, excellent service.
Food was amazing, Service was TERRIBLE - Waited 40 minutes to get the bill. Couldn't order more food or drink even if we tried because the poor guy was so rushed off his feet. They need to employ more staff ! Everything else was lovely
Our service was great given how few servers there were. I think the server was given too many tables! She did really well under the circumstances. But it was a great experience overall. We loved the food and the atmosphere.
Delicious food but a little pricey as the portions are small so you need to order lots as it’s tapas. Food itself is great though and the service is very good.
I thought the food was very overpriced compared to the tiny portions. Also not many vegetarian options. They were out of a couple of dishes already when I was there at 6:30pm.
Amazing lamb chuletons
service, food and overall atmosphere was fantastic we really really enjoyed our event!
very small portions and expensive low quality of food
A lovely dinner and wine for my daughter's birthday with friendly service. However - very, very expensive for the food and wine on offer.
We came as a large group and had the Feasting menu. Fantastic creative Mexican cuisine. Highlights were the octopus, pork belly tacos and sea bass. The service was friendly and suitably attentive. Would highly recommend giving this place a visit.
Awesome bottomless margarita brunch! Service and food were both amazing, we will definitely be back!
Great service and will definitely be back again and will recommend to others
Great food, friendly service and relaxing atmosphere. Wunderbar.
Had a lovely brunch with my friends
Great service, friendly atmosphere, best Mexican food in town.
The service was rubbish - only our waitress was good. Our hostess was extremely rude, and the rest of the staff were completely unhelpful. The food was priced high for the amount we got -- taco plates were tiny. I was disappointed as a group of us had gone for my birthday, and despite putting a note of that on my booking, we were still treated quite rudely. Probably wouldn't eat here again.
Great Mexican tapas! In a cute setting, felt like we were on holiday!
Unique, delicious food; great atmosphere; super service. A gem!
