About Sanskruti Restaurant Manchester
“Sanskruti” which means Tradition or Culture. We believe nothing represents India more than its classical cuisine and vibrant culture, which we express in each of our dishes. We offer a wide variety of choices, many of which you are unlikely to find at any other restaurant in Manchester. We only use the freshest of ingredients in all of our dishes, offering a menu that traverses the Indian sub-continent: from the ‘Thalis’ of Gujarat to the ‘Dosas’ of South India and from the ‘Chaats’ of Mumbai to the rich, unforgettable taste of North Indian curries.
At Sanskruti, our meals are prepared with the belief that Indian food is not only about heat but also about the perfect marriage of aromatic herbs and spices. Our menu is as diverse and colourful as the continent itself. As a pure vegetarian & vegan restaurant, we leave no room for mistakes in the preparation of your dish, as we are committed to providing the best quality of food.
Unique to Manchester, we cater for all taste requirements: from the mild and medium dishes for a family night out to hot and sizzling dishes perfect to kick-start any celebration. We promise an experience like no other; not only in our cooking but also in our service. We are fully licensed so you can sit back and enjoy a cold pint of beer or a glass of wine whilst you take in the atmosphere and enjoy all that is Sanskruti.
Food was ok. Sambhar like tarka dal. That's not good. Service was excellent... friendly customer service.
Food and service was excellent . The only negative feedback was regarding getting our tables . The booking was at 7 45pm but we got our tables at around 8 15. But it was well worth the wait!
We visit regularly the restaurant, feel recently the chef has changed. There is a slight change in the taste of food we ordered. The home cooked feeling in the food has almost gone. We ordered the tandoori mushroom and it had no taste to it of any spices. The chutney provided was the saviour
Hands down the best Indian restaurant in Manchester. I visit a minimum of once a month.
a great restuarant, always a good atmosphere and excellent value for money
My wife and I are both vegans and were delighted to find this fantastic restaurant. It's wonderful to find authentic fresh Indian food that is pure vegan. This is very hard to find. We always eat at this restaurant when we are in Manchester and can fully recommend it, the food, the service and the prices are unbeatable.
Slightly pricey but absolutely phenomenal - the jackfruit curry is out of this world.
Absolutely amazing food as always!

Everything was very tasty! Staff also really helpful with explaining the menu.
Great Service, lovely staff, food was very nice and well presented, and we were not rushed. Will definitely go again.
Went for my birthday, had the Thali, it was to die for, you could tell in the restaurant everyone was enjoying the food, this place is amazing, i am not a vegetarian but the variety and taste sensations shouldnt be missed
Food always amazing here and fast service :-)
Amazing flavours, delicious (big) naan. Looking forward to eating here again!
Always enjoy the food here
starters ok but mains not worth the money..and tea 3.50 was a joke. 125 pounds for 7 people not worth coming aGain.
