The dessert with the green tea was the nicest sweet I have had.
Can not fault. This was our fourth visit
Great food, lovely atmosphere and really good service with a smile.
Delicious food and great service a very relaxing atmosphere.
Second time here and had another great meal. Service was excellent and the atmosphere and surroundings are really nice
The only sad bit is that there aren't any parking facilities, but that won't deter me from coming again! Excellent.
Been a few times now.. still not been dissapointed to date.. sfaff are excellant with kids and food is continually good!!! As arnie says "I'll be back" (we'll all be back)
Staff lovely very friendly and helpful, food good well presented and tasty. Place is nice where we were sat wasnt great bit noisy and chilly. Would visit again.
We had a really great evening, food and wine was superb and service was excellent. Always look forward to eating at SMH
Great choice on menu and excellent service by very friendly staff
Excellent service followed by fantastic food. Highly recommend and will call back.
Had a great meal , friendly staff, would definitely visit again and recommend it to anyone looking to eat out in Rhosniger.
Hi Sandymount We have been holidaying in Rhosneigr for the past ten years & were so excited to visit you. We had drinks & then returned again for dinner to celebrate my wife's birthday. Love the new look but have to say that we were very disappointed with the bar. We popped in for coffee & hot chocolates for our children one afternoon. The guy who served us was obviously very unhappy about something & was openly very vocal about being upset. He then took the best part of half an hour to bring our drinks. My espresso was sent back because it was cold. We struggled to understand the wait as the bar was very quiet. When we returned for my wife's birthday she was charged £15 for a double gin & tonic. This seems excessive & the bar staff did not think to inform her of the price when she ordered. We are very used to inner city prices but £15 for a double is unheard of. Also, if you are advertising Real ales & craft beers I feel that you should have much more to offer. There was only one draught ale alongside your house beer. To advertise ales & beers would suggest a wider selection. With only a handful of places to drink in Rhosneigr, excluding Sullivans (!!??) I feel that you are missing a significant gap in the market. I'm really sorry if this review sounds a tad negative. When we returned to eat the food was awesome & the service was first class. We will definetly be back but are keeping our fingers crossed for a more interestingly stocked ale/craft beer menu & clearer clarification if you fancy a double spirit & mixer. Until next time.. Noson bendigedig / A wonderful evening.
So booked in advance I’m polite like that, so in return I expect to be welcomed, Told where to sit when a place is empty hmm? All looks good like it’s going to be something special, well it was like getting the keys to a Ferrari and having no petrol in the tank. The food was such an anti climax so very disappointing, I was told my order was small so I thought I’d have some chips, they were half cooked potato wedges,am I a builder? I’d far rather go to a tired place for a great meal than go to the best looking place and be ripped off..... won’t be back......sorry but have to be honest you asked for the review........
First visit, fabulous decor, disappointingly slow service, we waited 15minutes after ordering a bottle of wine! The restaurant was not that busy, Tuesday night after Easter w/end. The starters were lovely, for mains I had the Kofta, I felt no need for the wrap as it was hard to eat,so I left that part, we didn’t have deserts. I had an Irish coffee which was good. Would try it again next time we come down & hope the service might have improved. I wish the team well in improving the service at SMH as we look forward in the future to spending more time there, come rain or shine.
We enjoyed the meal and the service was excellent. Only thing I could fault was the Sauvignon Blanc which was too acidic - fortunately we only ordered a glass each and not a bottle.
A very glamours venue warm and friendly, the new menu is very exciting . The drinks selection is very good We all had different starters and mains excellent The presentation and quality of the food was faultless To end the meal lovely deserts Thanks to all staff truly wonderful evening at the Easter celebrations
We felt very rushed
We had a great meal last night and had a lovely outdoor terrace table. Food was great as was the service considering it was a busy Easter weekend!. Nothing major but I felt sorry for people dining near the toilet as this is also used by people who were at the bar. The bar area was extremely noisy, could maybe do with some sound proofing? Overall great night and atmosphere. Will definitely be back again!
Great food in a lovely setting, check out the Gin Tin in the back garden. Can highly recommend the Sunday lunch 👍🏻
Great venue but uninspiring menu, duck wings were deep fried skin and bone! Chef should know the difference between ciabatta and focaccia- great potential but we won't be back until improvements are made.
Very busy in the bar area and incredibly noisy . Waitresses were very friendly Choice of main course rather limited and narrow
As usual, a great meal, lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. We had to wait a while for food, hence the 4 score. We thought the table service experience reminded us of the waitresses in First Dates tv programme! - a compliment by the way
Waitress excellent very friendly food very good desserts a bit pricey but excellent drinks took a while to come although order taken straight away overall great experience would recommend
