About Samphire Whitstable
Samphire is a Kentish Bistro firmly established within the Whitstable restaurant scene. Our style of food is simple with emphasis on great produce. We are proud to showcase the best seasonal ingredients sourced from local farms, allotments and producers in our regularly changing menus.
A small range of dishes cooked really well. A brilliant place to go with the family, we thoroughly enjoyed our lunch and will definitely return in the future
Lovely food and restaurant just the staff lost interest when we were trying to pay and leave and we had to wait for some time.
The staff were very efficient and kind as we had 18 month old with us. Restaurant clean Food excellent
Wonderful food, outstanding service. Great as always.
Enjoyed the evening v much, thankful there was no music
We'll be back
Lovely brunch, great service
Lovely meal to celebrate our Mum’s 80th Birthday
Lovely relaxed lunchtime atmosphere. Thoroughly recommend the smoked haddock kedgeree which all 4 in our party enjoyed!
Consistently good local restaurant. Staff always helpful and charming. We go here regularly.
We had a fabulous meal at Samphire with the amazing customer service from Dee and Debbie! We will return, thank you x
Another absolutely delicious meal at Samphire. The service was spot on and the atmosphere was lively and relaxed.
Very cheerful and helpful staff. Both mains were of an exceptional standard. Fabulous meal.
Fantastic fish pie!
Great service & gorgeous fresh breakfast Coffee cups could do with being a tad larger as a few gulps & gone! But being extremely picky Def recommend
Lovely place. The manager could not have done enough for us...she is a real star. Thank you
Every visit to Samphire has been a lovely experience with quality food and friendly service.
great local bistro, friendly service
Amazing food and great service!
First class food as always - and friendly and attentive staff. Recommended
Lovely place and great food. My only negative feedback would be we booked a table for Brunch on a Sunday at 12.30. Brunch had finished, but menus online don’t state that Brunch isn’t available on Sunday PM. Suggest amending your online Menu to state when brunch ends on a Sunday. That said, the staff spoke to the chef who was good enough to make us some breakfast items, which was much appreciated. That aside, a lovely place with great food.
We always enjoy the food at Samphire although there was no local game on the menu this time, which was disappointing. The local fish is always a good bet and is perfectly seasoned and cooked.
Wonderfully crafted and delicious dishes. Was slightly worried by the simple menu but everything was perfectly made with high quality local ingredients. Highly recommend x
Food was OK but disappointed with choice on main menu. Only 3 desserts I think and one of them was ice cream! Not as good as previous visits.
