About Orocco Pier
Our passion for producing good food is evident in all aspects of our relaxed and informal restaurant. Dishes are contemporary, offering an excellent cross section of different styles and tastes to suit every occasion, appetite and palate. As you might expect, seafood is a prominent feature of our menus.
From a romantic meal, formal celebration or business lunch to a quick, mouth-watering light bite, our food is prepared using the freshest and finest ingredients available to us by a kitchen team who have worked together for a number of years. .
Prepared with the same zeal our wine list is extensive, aiming to perfectly complement our food.
The young lady who served out table was excellent. The room temperature around our table was a bit on the cold side for our elderly guests when they first arrived at noon. The music was a bit on the loud side at times.
Beautiful location and excellent service.
Loved our lunch. Can't fault anything! Will be back.
Lovely meal and excellent service. Will definitely be back
First time dinning at Orocco pier won't be the last. Friendly staff, nice atmosphere and stunning views of the fourth rail bridge combined with excellent food and service made a birthday that wee bit more special. Many thanks Stuart
We don’t dine often at orocco pier....we like to keep it for special occasions. Unfortunately this visit was a little disappointing compared to previous visits. We had to ask 3 times for our drinks order. When our starters arrived, my order was incomplete, and I had to ask for the missing food. A main course of steak had to be sent back to the kitchen as it was cold, this was replaced with a new steak which was greatly appreciated but meant that 1 member of the party did not eat with everyone else at the table. Our wine was given to us as a gesture of goodwill and I would like to stress that the food was actually very tasty. The waiters/waitresses were also attentive/apologetic so it seems odd to me that drinks had to be chased and reminders given for incomplete orders. This visit fell short of what I have come to expect from Orroco pier.
My partner and I had a fantastic drinks and dining experience. The food and drinks were delicious, the staff very friendly and accommodating and the restaurant views were outstanding. Would highly recommend x
Thank you for our splendid Birthday lunch on 21st January in the Samphire Restaurant. The staff were very welcoming, the food excellent and the view of the Bridges outstanding. The chocolate strawberries at the end were the 'icing on the cake', Thank you again
Just love it there, lovely food, drink and ambiance are all 5 star.
Staff were very friendly and attentive, and the meal was outstanding. Will definately be back.
We booked a table for 10 for a 40th. We arrived and the restaurant was full. Our table was ready and it was beautiful. Very welcoming and the lighting was great. We were served quickly and the waitress was very accommodating She took several pictures of us when we asked and was very smiley and friendly. The only disappointment was that the food didn’t blow us away. It was good, but not outstanding. We would go back as the atmosphere was great!
Really enjoyed our evening at Orocco Pier celebrating our 1st year anniversary. Food was amazing, service was fantastic and the view of the bridges was spectacular!
Thanks to staff at Orocco Pier for making our lunch with friends and family everything we hoped it would be. Staff were so attentive to all our needs and patient and relaxed with us as we entertained our 9 month old grandson. Menu was varied, food, drink and service excellent. Such a friendly relaxed time we all had, thankyou to all staff. We would highly recommend and will be back.
Thank you for arranging a very nice table for a late lunch on a Friday. We very much enjoyed looking out at the Rail Bridge as the sun set on a lovely January afternoon. Starters were good, mains a little dried up and disappointing. Service good.
We very much enjoyed Christmas Day dinner at Orocco Pier, the food was lovely and the atmosphere was lovely and festive. Our only issue was the speed of service. It did take a very long time for courses to arrive/plates to be cleared. Our main course arrived nearly 2 hours after we sat down!!
Staff could not have been more helpful from first phone call about our booking to the service on the day of our lunch. They delt with our grandchildren's allergies with due care and attention. The food was delicious and portions generous. The attention to detail excellent. We have eaten there on a number of occasions and will be back!
The restaurant was stiflingly hot and made us leave earlier than we might otherwise have done. We did not mention this to staff though so perhaps they would have opened a door to let air through if we had.
Very enjoyable I will be back.
Food was amazing service brillint for such a busy night were very attentive! Great night all round will definatly be back .
Neighbouring tables were too close by and we had no privacy. Good food and service though.
The staff really understand the concept of great customer experience. I always feel well looked after and special when i visit. Fantasic venue and great value
I booked online & it was unclear which restaurant I had booked. Music was a little too loud. Otherwise all good!
Thoroughly enjoyed our meal but felt tables were crammed close together and could over hear conversations on all table close by. Have been a number of times to orrocco pier but felt this time there wasn’t enough staff on, we waited forever for someone to acknowledge us and take us to our table,we had to ask if we could order drinks when sat down, if we could order our food and also we asked 3 times for the bill. It wasn’t the staffs fault and it was a shame as couldn’t fault it in previous visits
Very disappointed. Have been going to the NY brunch for many years with no problems but to run out of gammon steaks was poor planning from yourselves. The replacement was a beef burger. If we wanted a burger we would have gone to Burger King or McDonalds. Scott’s have nothing to worry about. We will go there next year.
First off the staff need to smile. The welcome was ok the waitress was obviously not enjoying being there. She was very moody from the outset. We chose to have a non alchoholic drink and water on the table. When she came back with the drinks we needed glasses and you would have thought it was our fault there was a lack of glassware on the table. It was all downhill from then on. We had dined here in the past and breakfast was good. This time not so. Very small porions in fact my husbands scrambled egg could fit onto his teaspoon. Potato, bacon and mushroom were all cold. We brought it to the attention of the waitress and nothing was done about it. So disapointed because on past experience we had been looking forward to this. Afraid we will not be back which is a shame. Certainly this was not value for money. Trying to get a top up for tea and coffee became a chore so in the end we gave up. Nancy
