Fine dining with an Indian accent! Using local produce where ever possible combined with the intense flavours of Indian spices resulting in dishes, meat, fish and vegetarian that are truly amazing.
Our chefs use cooking methods inspired from different regions of India; seafood recipes from Goa to richer dishes from Punjabi in the north. We utilize a clay oven, called a Tandoor, to retain the authenticity of such dishes as Naan bread and all Tandoories. Modern European techniques such as slow cooking, low temperature and sous-vide are used to perfect the blend of spices and quality of the product.
Dishes are presented simply in a modern European way, letting the food 'do the talking'. We call it 'Fine dining with an Indian accent'.
New menu but same great food and great service. Can't recommend Saffrons highly enough
Great food and service
Fantastic evening, we were looked after by a knowledgeable and attentive team. The food was great and the wine paired very well with the menu we enjoyed. Thanks again Laurentiu and the team!! We will be back... very flexible with the booking also, so thank you!
Brilliant meal served by very professional and friendly staff. We will definitely be back.
Food to die for and service to live for.
Very expensive, especial the wine
Having dined at Saffrons a few years ago with my husband and been delighted, I brought my parents over this time to experience fine dining and good service. We booked well in advance citing vegan and vegetarian diets and even rang an hour before we arrived to check that we were expected. To our utter disappointment, our food took over an hour to arrive and it seemed that the kitchen was unprepared to cater to a vegan or vegetarian diet within a reasonable timeframe. Service was slow and indifferent with us having to fight for eye contact, the head waiter promised us the chef would come by but he never did, and we watched as other tables that were seated after us were serviced well before we were. Our hunger had nearly faded at the point that the food arrived (served with no apologies and a lot of excuses instead) and so whilst we ate the bulk of our food, we did ask at the end to pack a couple of small bits, only for one of the servers to admonish us like we were schoolchildren! Never again will I return. All I wanted was to show my parents who were visiting from India what I had enjoyed so much in 2015 - the warmth, great food and beautiful service that Saffrons represented to me - and I go away disappointed that none of those elements remain what they used to be. Overall, a poor dining experience.
The food was beautifully presented and served. Attentive service with explanations of subtle tastes. Nice ambience. We really enjoyed it.
Service was a touch slow but the food was absolutely worth the wait
Excellent attentive staff with delicious cuisine. Highly recommended.
What can I say ! This was the best Vegetarian food I have EVER had ! Just Amazing ... I Had the Vegetarian tasting menu with the wine , hubby had the fish tasing Menu also superb ! such a food Experience I carnt recommend enough! Thank you ,
Wonderful service and a superb meal, as always. We visit Jersey a few times every year and always finish our trip with a meal at Saffrons. It never lets us down. We feel very well looked after, particularly by the Maitre D. Can't wait to go back.
Wonderful eating experience
Excellent food and service.
Amazing food, a vegetarians heaven!! I would recommend Saffrons to everyone as the service is so personal and there is nothing they won’t do to make the experience very special, everytime!! If you haven’t been, you’re are missing out on a true delight. Not just for vegetarians, lots of fish and meat dishes available that I’ve been told are equally tasty.
By far and away the best food and cooking of it’s kind that both my wife and I have experienced.
I was disappointed that there was an additional charge for wine when we had paid for the taster menu with wine. We understand there was a problem with staffing and the courses took longer but we spent over £800 for 6 of us which was a lot of money .we were topped up in between courses .i think we shouldn’t have been charged an extra £80
Lovely meal as always and excellent service
Outstanding quality of food and drink.
This is my third visit, and always a special meal and the staff are always friendly. The food is amazing and the fish taster meal was excellent.
Another delicious meal. Definetley the best food in Jersey. Fine dinning Indian style at its best.
We had a very nice evening with superb food and a very friendly host. We had diner outside and the host made us more comfortable with a blanket when it became cooler outside.
Great service, and food was incredible. Will certainly be returning.
The food here is great. Fine dining Indian-style is quite unusual for a place this small. Service isn't especially fast, and some of the hotel guests don't appreciate what they are getting, but definitely going back.
We all had the taster menu with wine. Food was delicious Not wine connoisseurs by any means but wines were very nice and complimented the courses.
