About Rosie B's
Rosie B's food is all about great value, home style cooking with an emphasis on natural, organic and sustainable ingredients. Our signature Fiordland Wild Legend Crayfish is considered to be the best 'lobster' in the world and we are delighted to be able to offer it to our diners. We source all our meats from local farms and some of our salad ingredients are foraged. Our house Red & White wines are from Bannockburn & these wines are organic, naturally filtered and served by the glass or carafe.
We had a fabulous meal at Rosie B's this evening! The crayfish was divine as were all the other meals including dessert. Each meal (including the generous kids meals) were true to your philosophy using quality ingredients and that extra special touch to make it outstanding. Service was excellent - it was definitely a highlight to our stay in Queenstown and worth the lovely drive to Arrowtown. Keep up the great work!
Highly recommended one of the best meals the meat was cooked to perfection and extremely tasty overeating here is easy
The ambiance of the place is nice. The decorators have done a great job from its previous decor when it was Safron. The menu is limited, nothing wrong with that so it is not difficult to choose. The beef tacos were great, the pork belly was so so. The squid was good but the portion rather small. The special of the day -- snapper was somewhat tasteless and the lobster likewise despite its price, the beef was great. The best part of the meal were the tacos and the chocolate soufle.
Great service and excellent food once you got your head around the menu. Wait staff were very helpful.
Great service good atmosphere but signature dish of lobster very disappointing - overcooked precooked not fresh no taste
We had a wonderful relaxed lunch at Rosie B’s. Food was extremely delicious- highly recommend the tacos! Service was very friendly. Kitchen was a bit slow, especially considering the few other tables occupied. That said it was a terrific lunch and I’d definitely go back!
Food was Perfection and staff and service was Excellent! Highly recommend and would definitely come back again.
Our dietary requirements were catered to humbly and generously and the food was absolutely amazing!
Excellent service with great food
Interior design is just great and stylish. Service very friendly. Food (sirloin and sides) was just perfect and very tasty. Good house wine. We ate there twice and were more than satisfied. Can recommend without reservation!
I have been to Rosie B 3 times and love it! The food is outstanding, as is the service. The only downside I would say is that during the winter months it is quite cold inside. The first time my friends and I visited, we were unable to remove our coats for at lease 30 mins due to it being cold
The food was superb, the staff were very attentive, funny and professional and it had a great atmosphere. We will go again and bring friends .😊
Love it all.
What a lovely meal indeed. We had the venison, lamb and Angus planks and they were cooked to perfection. Definitely a five star.
Great food and great service. Highly recommended.
Food was amazing, wine lovely & atmosphere just right. Best restaurant experience for a long time. Thankyou all, Graeme & Melanie
Great service, delicious food and well priced. Would go again and would definitely recommend. Thanks Rosie B's!
We had a fabulous meal as a group of 12 who did trust the chef. We had a few niggly dietary requirements which your staff handled like pros. The food was outstanding - in flavour & quality. Our seasoned eater outers who are all Sydney based said it was the best food they had eaten in years. The quantity of food was very generous - too much in fact. We'll definitely be back!
Excellent food and service at a reasonable price. Granted it was a Tuesday night but I’d stand up for a chance at the blackstrap venison au jus-world class! Definitely coming back.
Wine list was good and a reasonable price for central otago wine. Waitress had no knowledge of portion size, products on offer or had no capability of what to offer as a suggestion for a group of our size. Therefore we feel we did not experience what your restaurant had to offer. We ordered a $100 piece of ribeye medium rare which came out Rare, so had to be sent back to be recooked - therefore altering the final quality of the meat. Felt the selection of sides was lacking. Overall left feeling underwhelmed and disappointed with the experience. Feel time should be put into staff training around menu recommendations, customer service and finesse in wait service.
What an alternative to 'walking the plank'!! Rosie B's wonderful crew cheerfully welcomed us aboard with exotic starters, followed by perfectly presented, pink, prickly lobster; sparklingly crisp salads and tender New Zealand steak. One member of our boarding party chose the lamb, which I gather was discerningly plundered from a local sheep station.- He absolutely raved about it, and next time the sun drops over the yard arm, I shall be back, mint sauce in hand. Before we disembarked, my party joined me in hoisting the Jolly Roger in a salute to the skill of the chefs and the charm of the motley crew. As for Rosie, a very big 'Welcome back to Arrowtown'!
Our waitress was lovely & did a great job of looking after us. She was on her own most of the time and looked after us really well
We could not have enjoyed our evening at Rosie B’s more! The food was of an exceptional quality, cooked to perfection and presented beautifully. The staff were knowledgeable, professional and friendly and we really can not recommend this new restaurant enough. They even have Kir Royal on their extensive drinks menu which was a lovely surprise and we will definitely be back for more! :-)
Relaxed atmosphere, fantastic service, and tasty honet food.
