About Rosie B's
Rosie B's food is all about great value, home style cooking with an emphasis on natural, organic and sustainable ingredients. Our signature Fiordland Wild Legend Crayfish is considered to be the best 'lobster' in the world and we are delighted to be able to offer it to our diners. We source all our meats from local farms and some of our salad ingredients are foraged. Our house Red & White wines are from Bannockburn & these wines are organic, naturally filtered and served by the glass or carafe.
Excellent food and service at a reasonable price. Granted it was a Tuesday night but I’d stand up for a chance at the blackstrap venison au jus-world class! Definitely coming back.
Wine list was good and a reasonable price for central otago wine. Waitress had no knowledge of portion size, products on offer or had no capability of what to offer as a suggestion for a group of our size. Therefore we feel we did not experience what your restaurant had to offer. We ordered a $100 piece of ribeye medium rare which came out Rare, so had to be sent back to be recooked - therefore altering the final quality of the meat. Felt the selection of sides was lacking. Overall left feeling underwhelmed and disappointed with the experience. Feel time should be put into staff training around menu recommendations, customer service and finesse in wait service.
What an alternative to 'walking the plank'!! Rosie B's wonderful crew cheerfully welcomed us aboard with exotic starters, followed by perfectly presented, pink, prickly lobster; sparklingly crisp salads and tender New Zealand steak. One member of our boarding party chose the lamb, which I gather was discerningly plundered from a local sheep station.- He absolutely raved about it, and next time the sun drops over the yard arm, I shall be back, mint sauce in hand. Before we disembarked, my party joined me in hoisting the Jolly Roger in a salute to the skill of the chefs and the charm of the motley crew. As for Rosie, a very big 'Welcome back to Arrowtown'!
Our waitress was lovely & did a great job of looking after us. She was on her own most of the time and looked after us really well
We could not have enjoyed our evening at Rosie B’s more! The food was of an exceptional quality, cooked to perfection and presented beautifully. The staff were knowledgeable, professional and friendly and we really can not recommend this new restaurant enough. They even have Kir Royal on their extensive drinks menu which was a lovely surprise and we will definitely be back for more! :-)

Great new restaurant just what we need in Arrowtown
This was our first visit and we will certainly be back again. The food was delicious and all in our group of 10 were well catered for as we had those requiring gluten free and vegetarian options. Everyone enjoyed their meals.
It was sch a pleasure to go for dinner at this lovely new restaurant. The menu has something for everyone including great value lobster, steaks, the most incredible lamb rump, delicious sauces and sides and incredible desserts. Service was friendly and efficient and I can see Rosie B’s becoming our new favourite place to eat out in Arrowtown! Incredible food, great atmosphere and friendly, attentive service! Well done Rosie B’s! :-)

We enjoyed our first time at Rosieb’s. Good food good atmosphere. A little cool in temperature though.
This was our first visit to Rosie B's, it was really enjoyable, delicious food, value for money, friendly service (thanks Kelli). We had the steak (shared) and side dishes of yams, potatoes and vegetables. The chefs served us perfectly cooked meat with delicious accompanying vegetables & the doughnuts to follow were scrumptious.
The white wine in carafes shouldn’t be called Pinot Gris as this will put some off as it tastes more like a Chardonnay Call it Rosie’s White
