About Sabai Sabai Birmingham
First opened Sabai Sabai as a small, cosy, family-run Thai restaurant in Moseley 10 years ago. Proving a real hit with the locals they opened the Harborne restaurant, oozing a subtle eastern sophistication with carved wooden benches and low inviting lighting. Mastering contemporary chic and bringing a taste of Thailand to Birmingham.
enjoyed a nice meal could be better
Highly recommend - will definitely be returning soon
Fantastic meal as usual, will definitely be back again
It was a very lovely experience, the food was great, the atmosphere very lovely and the staff attentive....perfect thank you, we will be back
Staff where there when needed but still gave us space to enjoy our evening. Food was amazing and we will return.
Atmosphere would have got 5 stars, but the music was a bit too loud. Conversation was difficult because the music was loud which meant that diners were having talk louder. Otherwise everything was great.
We went to Sabai Sabai Central for our team Christmas lunch. The food was really tasty and reasonable value. The waiters were very efficient during the meal but had added an extra dish to our bill and then tried to include a steep rounding up to each card transaction we made. This unfortunately created a sour end to a nice meal.
Nice surroundings, great food.
Great restaurant with amazing food & service. The restaurant was a bit cramped and sometimes difficult to move around. On the whole a lovely place to eat.
We enjoyed the evening but would have preferred to have sat upstairs as it was quote busy and loud downstairs. My partner has the beef shin masaman which he ordered as we thought the meat would have been tendor. The meat was served on the phone which we did not expect. There was a a lot of fat on the meat and it was quite chewy. I ordered the pad Thai duck bit did not have noodles with the main. Overall a pleasant evening.
Great food etc just a shame 2 of our party had to wait about 15 mins after we had received our food as they hadn't taken the order details down correctly.
Had a lovely birthday meal at sabai Sabai Great service & Great food
Delicious food and excellent service
A dedicated front of house would have meant that we didn't have to wait so long to be seated as you were very busy. Once seated though everything was fantastic, incredible food.
Food was amazing with a nice setting. Will definitely be back.
Lovely warm welcome, excellent food as usual with plenty of choice. Our only very slight negative is that the restaurant was a little dark.
the space is a little bit tight, but the food is very good!
The waiter from Croatia was very good. The food was sublime...everyone was happy. Thank you
Great food and service
Thai food at its best.
The food was outstanding and despite a minor hiccup with the wrong starter being delivered, it was soon rectified and complimentary drinks offered. I wouldn't hesitate to return to sample the very tasty food again!
Staff made our visit extra special by recognising that we were celebrating my son’s birthday. We will definitely be back. Thanks
We did not attend as there was a major power cut we visited your restaurant over an hour before we were due to arrive & were advised to find an alternative restaurant by your staff as they were going to be busy!! Very disappointed.
We had a brilliant time at the restaurant, the food, drinks, atmosphere and service were all above and beyond what we were expecting, and when we moved to the bar after our meal, the bar man (I'm sorry I can't remember his name) was so entertaining and hospitable he totally made our night! We'll definitely come back next time we're in Birmingham. 10 out of 10. Thank you for having us!
Food was lovely, staff very attentive, my only criticism would be the restaurant was very cold - everyone in our party picked up on this.
