About Sabai Sabai Birmingham
First opened Sabai Sabai as a small, cosy, family-run Thai restaurant in Moseley 10 years ago. Proving a real hit with the locals they opened the Harborne restaurant, oozing a subtle eastern sophistication with carved wooden benches and low inviting lighting. Mastering contemporary chic and bringing a taste of Thailand to Birmingham.
Great food and fantastic service, really lovely staff!
Beautiful restaurant, friendly staff, great service and food is sublime, good value for money overall great Thai food and excellent experience it’s been my second time returning in 4 weeks 🙌🏽
A very enjoyable experience, delicious food and highly recommended.
Food was outstanding yet again. Will always return for more!
Had a great experience at Sabai Sabai. Food was delicious & great service.
Lovely decor. Amazing food. I love the one in Harbourne and the one in the City Centre had a very different feel to it but just as great.
Excellent food and service.
Very helpful staff, we had a lovely meal.
I’ve been to the sabai sabai in Moseley & Harborne many times previously & have never been disappointed with the food so was looking forward to visiting the new city centre location. Happy to say the food was even better than I’ve had previously, the drunken noodles are now my new different dish! However I have to say I was very disappointed with the service, worst I’ve experienced out of the 3 locations, restaurant wasn’t even particularly busy but staff were not friendly or attentive at all apart from the waiter who brought us our bill at the very end. Also the prices seem to have been hiked up & frankly is a bit overpriced, & finally the mocktail i ordered for £5 was pretty tasteless & really not worth the money so I’ll stick to standard juice or soft drink in future. I will definitely be returning to Sabai Sabai as i do believe it’s the best Thai food I’ve had in the city (apart from maybe The Barton Arms) & I’ve been a frequent customer for several years, but will be sticking to the Moseley or Harborne locations in future as they’ve always provided a much better overall dining experience.
Absolutely amazing food, will definitely ve back to try more from the menu. Great service too
Stunning as always. Staff great. Food amazing. Be back soon!
Delicious food. Set meals very good. Would recommend (have recommended).
Food is good but a little bit overpriced. Service was ok but one could tell that they wanted to renew the table. The place is very noisy so not good for having a conversation. I really prefer the Mosley restaurant.
Delicious and good value.
First time here. Very impressed. Lovely place. Lovely food. Good value for money (We had the set menu for two). Lovely man greeted us as we walked in. We will definitely be back.
Really flavoursome food, with lots of choice
we were served by an excellent chap - greek guy. Very attentive. You never have to wait long - either to be served; to get your food or for the bill - all essential for a business lunch. Thankyou Kirstin
I was very pleased with the atmosphere and food tastes great. Booking was very easy and staff were very friendly at greeting and showing us to the table. However I found that's couple of our drinks orders were mixed up (were were bought incorrect drinks) and that a drink I already paid for at the bar upstairs (which didn't make it down to our table) was then added to our main bill. I did clarify this and then it was taken off but the server didn't seem to think I was correct. The value for money was decent I didn't think it was any different to other Thai restaurants in Birmingham.
I love Sabai Sabai so much, It is possibly the best Thai food I have eaten outside of Thailand. However Saturday was a bit disappointing, I have only ever eaten in the Moseley and Harbourne ones, so as this one was new we thought we would try it. My starter was chewy, as was the beef in my curry and the curry was a little bland. I also had to ask 5 times for prawn crackers, which are given with starters in the other restaurants the service was very rushed. I don't think I will come to this one again as I love the food so much but its just not the same at this place.
We have eaten at both Harbone and Stratford many times and the food is definitely better in those restaurants.
Food was best my guests and I have tasted and service was fantastic, staff were very friendly.
Great place Lovely food Would recommend
