Great atmosphere, good food and service
Such a vibrant restaurant. The menu choice is great and you can choose the heat of your curry. I would definitely visit again.
Fabulous as always
Very hip place. Food was delicious. Unfortunately, it was automatically assumed that our party of six would use the set menu, so it took a while for us to get the a la carte menu. It was hard to flag down staff when we needed something. Space is very tight, so if you have someone who is older or who has a disability, this is not the place for them. Also not really suitable to bring younger children here.
Great food and service as always :)
Always a pleasure to visit.
Great place with great atmosphere and food!!
Saba were fantastic. I booked a table for my other half's 30th birthday (4 people). They were fast at responding and even acted on my request for a desert with a birthday candle to be brought out for her. Everything was fantastic and the food service was extremely fast. Couldn't be happier with my visit.
Service was excellent.
Always a delightful experience, enhanced by attentive staff
Great food great atmosphere.
Food and service was perfect. Good value for money. Just one thing to improve would be that there was very weak or poor lightning in the tables, we could not even read the menu!
We were excited about our visit to your restaurant, but we felt completely rushed through our meal!!! No time to enjoy our friends our the food. Your waitress kept walking back and forth behind our table and would clear a plate as soon as it was empty. No offers for a second drink or anything else!! In the end (I believe he was perhaps the head waiter) cleared the table as if there was a line waiting for it, but there were empty tables all around us. We will not be returning on our next visit.
Food and Drink was great, service was very slow we kept having to go over and get waiters or wave them over for more drinks and the bill etc.
Always a favourite when in Dublin
Food just ok. Service was quite poor, with waiting 25 minutes for anyone to come near us. Requested tap water 3 times and eventually arrived, but this was after 2 bottles of still & Sparkling water were just put on our table and charged. Have had better experiences in Saba.
When booking, I didn't get the name of the man I was speaking to but he was very friendly. I had sent an email initially and then followed up with a call and he asked if my name was Mark before I had introduced myself on the call as he had just emailed me back. It was subtle but a nice touch. I work in a financial services company where we have a huge emphasis on customer service and experience so when I see/experience good service I like to highlight same.
Nice food and service.... Would defo go back.
Gorgeous food, tables too close together which makes chatting difficult also very noisy. Staff great attentive and friendly, Maitre D adds a certain ambience!
I had a lovely meal with my wife at Saba on Sunday - starter are huge, then had a chili beef wok dish so I left the restaurant absolutely full. A couple of dark rums also!. Very tasty. Only comment is that I though there was an early-bird until 7pm - no early bird menu. Not an issue on the night, but might come into play if my two sons were with me, It's not a cheap restaurant, but its worth it for the lovely food.
great night on Saturday night... Thanks a million
The food was nice but nothing special for the price. Started with a very small portion of chicken wings and tempura vegetables with a heavy and slightly oily batter. Both mains were good tasty curries, Very little atmosphere, possibly due to late Friday afternoon timing. Needs an early bird offer to make this an attractive offering.
Delicious food, excellent service and great value. Consistently good for years. Looking forward to our next meal there.
