Just such a lovely pub with great service
Great food, great service, great place.
we had a fantastic time the whole experience was wonderful, & was so good we went again the next day, after lockdown back again when allowed
An excellent evening. The food was amazing and the service was fantastic. We will be back as soon as you are open again. Thank you
My favourite place for great food and great ambience.
Beautiful place and excellent food and service! What more could you ask for.
The main meal was okay but very disappointed with the puddings overpriced & remind me of school Puddings
A lovely place to eat and drink, would recommend it
Brought a client who I’m introducing to the area and he loved the game pie and the pub! His first pint in 6 months he loved it.
Fantastic Sunday Lunch - will definitely be back soon
Should delete the specials from the board when they’ve run out. Unfortunately neither the venison nor oysters were available.
I wish I'd found out our server's name, she was such a lovely presence. Made for a truly special meal. Food and atmosphere superb as always. Thank you!
Good sized food portions and attentive staff. A little out of the way, but very atmospheric.
The Inn is so beautiful it is a real treat to eat in it. The staff were very friendly but unfortunately there was a “problem in the kitchen” with our order which meant we waited for over an hour for our food. The serving staff did recognise this and offer us a drink or nuts on the house 👍
Despite the pub being unusually busy, the staff were polite and attentive throughout our visit. The food was up to its usual high standard and we had a thoroughly enjoyable evening.
Wonderful environment, cosy old English pub with roaring fire. Traditional menu, our food was very good. Staff friendly, very busy evening and tables a little near each other given that we are suppose to keep our distance
Great meal, friendly service followed by a lovely walk.
Excellent food and service in difficult times. Thank you.
Very nice meal friendly staff
A brilliant place for an atmospheric meal. The service was excellent and accommodated two young children very well. We will return!
Food is filling and good sized portions. Awesome Camembert and french onion soup. Avocado was a little as the can be but they replaced without quibble.
Still a lovely old English pub. Love the layout and that the furniture hasn't been modernised (with all the character rubbed out) Very welcoming despite current circumstances. Beer was good. Food was good 'comfort' food and always nice to have a 'proper' pie although slightly top-end on price for what it was. Would definitely go back
Best food ever!!
