We started our first adventure 8 years with a small cafe called North Star, serving breakfast, lunch and daily specials
And sometimes in the evening for private parties.
Maurizio and Ester worked hard to build a good reputation in the city over the years, providing fresh food always cooked from scratch and a warm welcome.
Finally with the “Rossini’s restaurant “, guest can enjoy more authentic Italian food at lunch or dinner and some Italian wines too!
Fantastic! Will be back.
Great atmosphere with delicious food and bubbly staff!! Will be back!
This is my second visit and I have to say the food is outstanding. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and the service is perfect. The quality of food is amazing and really excellent value for money. We eat out a lot and in my opinion this is the best Italian food in Glasgow!!
Excellent meal. We will definitely return!
Lovely decor, friendly staff, authentic Italian food, excellent wine list.
Great, authentic meals cooked with real passion. Thank you!
Best Italian food we know. We plan to visit again and again. We were regulars at North Star and we plan to be regulars at Rossini. Ann and Bill Durward.
Great first visit to this new restaurant. Will absolutely be back. Meal was superb and wine was excellent. Great staff, location and value for money. A must-visit. PM
Authentic Italian food. Very friendly service. To be honest, I prefer firmer noodle. But we will be able to order al dented by service lady. Rossini will be able to become No.1 Italian ristorante in Glasgow near future.
Very nice meal. Hope to return soon
Most amazing food and service! Very family orientated, traditional, though beautiful for our special occasion on our 10th Wedding Anniversary... you feel most welcome. Many thanks Ann and Gary
Great place ... Nice menu And lovely staff
Ester and Mauritzio are the perfect hosts. They proved themselves with Cafe North Star, and their talents are on ample display at this new venture for them. A tasteful, relaxing restaurant, with classy menu selction that should suit all tastes. Mauritzio's cooking comes from the heart and he revels in brinign fresh Italian flavours and combinations. Really lovely evening - definitely will be back.
Excellent food and wine, friendly welcoming service Fantastic value for money and a great addition to the west end. We will definitely be back. Thank you for a great night
Excellent meal, as expected, given the North Star Cafe pedigree. Will be back soon.
Lovely dishes, exciting menu, great staff. Huge well done!
Amazing authentic Italian gem of a place! Thoroughly recommend Rossini to anyone looking for a great night out with charm and a passion for food.
we had a fantastic lunch at Rossini! Finally an authentic Italian Restaurant in Glasgow. Small menu, fresh and quality product! I’ve been following Maurizio for years, since he opened the North Star cafe. I love his cooking, creative and tasty!
Lovely new addition to Hyndland St. A great menu. Very pleasant staff. Will be back soon and probably go on a regular basis.I know the owners from North Star and I knew in advance it would be good quality 🏴🇮🇹🏴🇮🇹🏴🇮🇹🏴🇮🇹🏴🇮🇹🏴🇮🇹🏴
My birthday was completed with an excellent meal and birthday wishes from Maurizio and Ester.A lovely end to the day.
Excellent service, good food
Excellent service, considering how newly opened the restaurant was. Good food, especially the fresh seafood.
Delicious and authentic Italian food served by attentive charming staff. We will be back.
Food amazing service brilliant host could not ask for better people. Nothing a issue for them customer satisfaction is priority to them. The gem of a restaurant in the west highly recommended it.
A friend and I enjoyed a superb lunch at Rossini’s yesterday: delectably authentic ossobuco with saffron rice, and a side dish of various unusual vegetables perfectly prepared. The restaurant’s excellent wine list, by the bottle and by the glass, is admirably matched by what must be some of the most elegant wine glasses to be found anywhere in Glasgow. At Rossini’s, deserts are seriously irresistible; and, for me, the hazelnut ice cream (imported from Italy) is most happily the real thing. (Other flavours are available). This newly established restaurant matches a pleasant casualness of decor and atmosphere with cuisine of the highest quality, all at a modest price and with the friendliest service. Bravo Maurizio Rossini, formerly prize-winning Chef at the North Star Bistro and Cafe, now Owner and Chef of his own Restaurant. Congratulations also to the indispensable Ester and Gaia. I, with friends and family, will be back often.
