We had a lovely evening meal. We had the set supper club menu. Very pleased as everything looked and tasted fantastic.
A fantastic venue for a big family party - food was exceptional as was the service. Nothing was too much trouble. Had a tasting menu and wine flight - made for a really fun evening and exceeded everyone's expectations. A great selection of interesting wines and fresh seasonal produce. Brill was amazing. A relaxed and very special evening -just what we were hoping for.
We had the supper club menu on a Thursday evening and were astonished at the amazing value of it! Bread served with pesto goat cheese, then ceviche salmon, superb sirloin with triple cooked chips, then a yummy crumble - price included 2 glasses of wine and coffee after (and a truffle each). Waitress couldn't have been more amazing and friendly. More people should try this out - it was a bit quiet, but what an amazing value for such superb food!
Our favourite special occasion restaurant
A dining experience at Ronnie's is always a first class affair - the food, the service and the ambience all contribute to a wonderful event.
Excellent tasting with wine menu, each course got better and better, great service and sublime food, thanks Ronnie and team.
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and willing to flex the service to suit our needs on the day This was very much appreciated Everyone enjoyed their food which was really excellent.
Another delicious lunch served by charming and courteous staff. The venison steak was cooked to perfection and the Cote du Rhone complimented it beautifully. Wonderful coffee too. We look forward to returning very soon.
Fabulous lunch tasting menu paired with amazing wines. My husband and I enjoyed every mouthful and every sip !😄
A lovely meal, the right amount of food, with well matched wines. Very tasty lamb, perhaps a little too much salt on the outside for our taste, with a good combination of vegetables. Very enjoyable...we hope to come again very soon. Thank you, we are very lucky to have such a good restaurant within 3 minutes walk!
Loved the food and ambience- minor comment regarding lighting maybe dim just a tad to improve ambience. Amazing food and lovely service- really very good.
The star ratings say enough.
We held a family celebration dinner for 24 people at Ronnies, everyone attending said what a wonderful time they had. The food was excellent, the recommended wine choices were wonderful and the atmosphere and service great. Guest said they would not have thought about booking at Ronnies when choosing a place to eat but would definitely be coming back in the future. Well done Ronnie, very impressive, thanks for making our event a success.
This was a last minute booking and so pleased we booked, we had the tasting menu, every dish was presented well and they all tasted wonderful, staff were very friendly and attentive, would definitely dine there again.
Friendly and efficient service with interesting food combinations.
A great restaurant - food tastes lovely, the free canapes just kept on coming - service efficient and very friendly. Perfect.
My wife and I had a very enjoyable lunch.Service was good, and not rushed. All the food was cooked just right and was served hot.
Unfortunately we booked Ronnie’s for 5 people for a special occasion - my brothers birthday but what we weren’t told was that the whole of the lower restaurant was booked out for a private function so we were left on our own upstairs. We had to wait ages for a waiter to come and give us our menus and when we finally managed to collar one he huffed “oh has she not given you them yet!?” And ran off. It took 15 minutes to order drinks and we decided to order food at the same time because clearly the waiter was pretty stressed about the party downstairs, running off as soon as he could. It took another 15 minutes to actually get our drinks when he then told us he’d run out of one of the drinks we’d ordered so our starters actually came out before the last of the drinks. The whole meal continued in this vein and while the food was faultless the service was hurried and at some times rude. Considering we paid over £50 per head it wasn’t especially worth it for subpar service. We definitely should have been told there was a big function downstairs and we should have at least been afforded the same courtesy of good service as they clearly had.
We had a great night, wonderful food and very attentive polite staff. The food really was exceptional and we will return when we are in the area again, thanks
Once again you delivered a wonderful experience Thank you
Lovely food, great tastes.
As always food & service very good, really enjoyed the supper club menu .
Ordered a taster menu so many small courses with very long waits between each course apparently they had a large party upstairs and could not cope but that is not good enough when you pay premium prices to dine at this establishment. We went on our wedding anniversary which was spoilt by the experience
