As always, great food and fab service. The lunch deal is brilliant value. The nicest curry in Edinburgh.
My fruend and I had a lovely meal. The portions were adequate and the food was cooked to an excellent standard.
Best Indian we have been to. Lovely surroundings with great staff and delicious food.
We had a lovely meal and will certainly be back.
Fabulous relaxed environment with attentive and knowledgeable staff. My group all loved the food and atmosphere and all wanted to come back another time.
Lovely food. Back of the restaurant is just a bit too dark (which is why only 3 stars for atmosphere) and was very quiet when we were there. Proper milk with the coffee would be much nicer. Plastic coffee creamer not nice.
As usual, excellent & friendly service, with great food.
Nice relaxing environment, with attentive staff but not too intrusive. Great tasting food!
Beautiful food and lovely service. Will definitely be back soon!
Excellent food and service in comfortable surroundings. We will definitely return as we always enjoy our visits.
Fantastic service. Food was outstanding with real flavour in the dishes. Best curry we have had in Edinburgh!
Great food. Quality chicken. Wine per bottle was slightly expensive but nice.
Very nice restaurant, food lovely, only marked atmosphere down as lunch time and not many people having lunch!
Awesone meal and service, hard to beat.
Very good meal.
Really liked that the Owner/Manager came and chatted with everyone (as he did two years ago!)Nice live music but at one stage played alongside/over piped music. Very relaxed atmosphere and patient staff. Well appointed and very clean disabled toilet. Menu comprehensive and concise.
Local to where I was staying at the Village Hotel. Good food and made to feel welcome.
Best Indian food in Edinburgh, service was excellent and a really great place to eat.
Best indian in Edinburgh by far
The attitude and service in the restaurant ruined what would have otherwise been a lovely meal. My partner and I had to sit and pick pieces of meat out of our meal because we weren’t allowed to order the dish without meat due to ‘company policy’ - a very strange policy that no other restaurant has ever seemed to have. I’d be very interested in seeing the legal legislation behind forcing customers to order dishes with meat. It ruined what was supposed to be a lovely anniversary meal. We won’t be back.
Lovely sunny day however we chose to sit at the window & we ended up very hot & wearing sun glasses. It would have been nice if someone had offered to move us to a less sunny table or perhaps the restaurant could have had blinds. Otherwise everything else was perfect.
We had a great night!
Quite disappointed as previous visits had been more enjoyable. Food was no better than average. The restaurant was noisy and service slow.
Staff were very nice: held the door open on arrival and all said hello, we were checked on frequently throughout our meal. The food was lovely and piping hot, the mango sunrise cocktail was lovely too! it was a nice change to have a cocktail list at an Indian restaurant. Will definitely be back!
