Rogue is a Bar & Restaurant focusing on locally sourced dry aged meat and locally landed seafood. Felons gin will be made in the restaurant, with the bar focusing on gin cocktails and great wine and champagne.
Food and wine was delicious and great value for money , staff just on right side of attentive and friendly Best chips have had ! . Already recommended to others and will visit again
Superb meal, we had the seafood for 2 and steak for 2 platters. Expensive but excellent quality.
Food was decent but service was slow as the restaurant was busy. If you cater for that number of people then you should provide enough service for it then. Wine was overpriced. I'm not sure what's happened recently but the price of alcohol in establishments are way out of control. Therefore I don't think there is great value for money. Starters were pretty small in size. They were nice but took about 20 secs to eat. We had the chateubriand for our main. I like it but my wife thought it was undercooked. Too much on the rare side.
The reservation was really easy and would recommend as this place is possible, arrived early and was seated straight away despite being busy, it is an amazing space and we loved the table we got, was attended to straight away, received some lovely bread while we waited on our order, on the drinks front I'd highly recommend the Felon and scrapeface gin! The meal was served promptly after ordering it and it was amazing, the service was non intrusive but there if needed, we ordered dessert, which was also delightful, I would highly recommend this place, even just to have a drink and see the distilling side, will definitely be back!!
cheatubriand was amazing
Really nice restaurant, great atmosphere and service. Thought the price was a little high for portion size and food quality but still a nice place. Will be back and will recommend
Food delicious. Well worth a trip.
Great place, Oysters and Lobster were fantastic have had Lobsters many times but can honestly say this was the first time I have been totally stuffed. Please keep your prices quality and service like this and I have no doubt you will be ST.Andrew's premium restaurant of choice we are usually patrons of the vine leaf but we think they are going to have to up their game to compete with you.
Omnivorous platter 👌
Without question, one of the best steaks I have ever had. Would come through from Edinburgh for the evening to dine here again!
Excellent place to eat. Like the idea of sharing a steak. Have not seen that anywhere else. Great venue and service excellent.
The meat was delicious and the butternut velouté was amazing! Lovely graduation dinner with a great service!! Would recommend!
Food was lovely, and drinks were nice, service was top notch.
Went for graduation lunch, the meal was ridiculously overpriced seeing the portions of the dishes. Didn't take the desert as we were full but was still charged the full set menu price, wasn't a pleasant experience.
We were a party of ten for graduation we had a truly nice time
Fabulous evening, food incredible and loved the cocktails, high tables.
Very good food and drinks and the staff were great, particularly in coping with the kids in our group.
Great night. Lovely food and great service.
Fantastic food (and cocktails), service, and atmosphere. Really pleased to have this place in St Andrews.
Delicious food and great service.
Excellent new restaurant in the heart of St Andrews. Friendly and attentive service, both the calamari and scallop/black pudding starter were great and the sirloin sharing steak for main was cooked to perfection and a great cut. Will definitely be coming back myself and recommending to my golfing groups.
Food was good but portions quite small for how expensive the food is. They claim to be fish and steak, however, the only fish dish was salmon- I would struggle to recommend this place to my pescatarian friends. It would have been nice to see another fish such as sea bass on the menu. Their home made gin is nice but they have made it expensive for an unknown gin and don’t have many other opitions for gin, which is a shame as Scotland is becoming so famous for our gins!
We had an excellent experience at Rogue on Saturday night. Great atmosphere, fab food and excellent service, highly recommended.
My girlfriend and I had a wonderful meal at Rogue, the food was delicious and the staff were friendly with quick service. We will definitely be returning soon!
