12 months after the opening of Roganic London (in January 2018) and 3 months after the restaurant being awarded the first Michelin star, Chef Simon Rogan has replicated the model with his first overseas branch in Hong Kong in February 2019. Like its original branch in the busy Marylebone district of London, Roganic Hong Kong emphasizes on curating the best ingredients (and in most cases, from local farms) and combined with contemporary style of British cooking in the hustle and bustle city of Causeway Bay.
Roganic is happy to accept children over the age of 6 years at lunch time and over the age of 12 in the evening in the main restaurant. Children of any age are welcome in our private dining rooms. Please note we do not have a children’s menu at the restaurant.
Roganic can usually cater for most health or allergy related dietary requirements with advance notice. Our head chef will happily adapt the menu according to each individual guest’s requirements. Please note any allergies or intolerances when making the reservation, so advance notice can be given to the kitchen.
Guests are required to provide credit card details to secure the reservation.
Same-day cancellation (within 24 hours of your booking) or no-show of your Roganic reservation will incur a charge of HK$680 per person at dinner.
Same-day cancellation (within 24 hours of your booking) or no-show of your Roganic Private Dining Room reservation, will incur a charge equivalent to the minimum spend required to hire the room.
The atmosphere is relaxed and the tasting menu is an absolutely treat.
The whole experience was wonderful, we came here to have an early Christmas dinner / gather and we enjoyed it a lot !
Every single dish was unique and surprisingly good. The cocktail that was specially made for me with ginger, cloves, cinnamon, Yuzu with a bit of smokiness was very refreshing. They printed the menu with a birthday message for my husband and that was a really nice touch. Thank you so much for a memorable evening. We will be back!
Amazing service, right sized portions.
Ordered the long tasting menu and the wine pairing - the food was exceptional!
The food is good and the atmosphere. And the price is reasonable
Food was great and the drink pairing was AMAZING! It showed some depth and skills of the bartender. We wish the volume of music could be lowered as it was a bit disturbing for our conversations.
No complaints apart from the annoying table reservation system.
Feel a bit disappointed about the service this time. No explantation of the dish and also , the food was delivered a bit rush for 9 course dinner only on 1.5 hours....... Regarding the restaurant atmosphere, it’s a bit noisy. As it’s full house, it’s better to turn off the pop music....
Great service and food!
As usual an absolutely stunning meal, the food was beautiful and the service was attentive. Sean and his front of house team are the best and Simon and the kitchen team were brilliant. Can't be faulted.
Been there for lunch and dinner and was impressed by the cuisine and service both times. Easily the best restaurant in Causeway Bay.
Loved the creative combination of ingredients, taste, texture and presentation; perfectly matched with equally inspired drinks pairing, alcoholic or otherwise. A great and distinctive addition to the fine dining scene in town.
We came as a family of 8 for my birthday dinner. It was not a busy night as it was on Wednesday, and Causeway Bay had been plagued by protests recently. The maitre d's seemed anxious / distracted by the lack of business. We had the short tasting menu with no wine pairing because the booking was for 8:30pm, and we didn't want to stay out very late and over-eat. When each course was served, it was explained to us. Sometimes the host spoke very softly / with a strong Spanish accent and I could barely hear the explanation, or I have to ask them to repeat what they just said. The food and service was good but it wasn't mind-blowing, and in a competitive fine-dining scene like HK's and the signs of a recession, Rorganic might have to do more to stand out.
My 4th or 5th visit and I’ll keep revisiting. That speaks for itself.
Rare find in Hong Kong. Very creative food.
Excellent value for money and service much better than many other restaurants I had been to.
Excellent food but icy service and incongruous music.
It's our second time to visit roganic, you simply can't stop to surprise us. I believe the change of style of the courses from light and fresh to rich and moist is due to seasonal factors but the desserts are simply amazing, the combination of unexpected ingredients has expanded my scope on desserts.
Amazing food and service as always. Would be more than happy to go again when menu changes.
