We had a very special evening at Roe! The service was fantastic and the food was unfaultable! Every thing we ate was incredibly fresh and each dish had a unique touch that made the meal very memorable! Would highly recommend
Great new addition to Pop Brixton
Very good food, pleasant place..
The seafood is super fresh and well prepared and the service very friendly. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
Amazing! Delicious food, attentive service and not ridiculously priced. Will be returning soon!
Great food and excellent service. Squid ink arrancini and monkfish carpaccio were supertb!
The monkfish carpaccio and the ray wing main dish are superb and definitely worth trying!
Absolutely delicious food and really friendly staff.....we will definitely be back.
I can highly recommend Roe for fantastic food and an innovative menu but also for Simon the Chef and the rest of the delightful staff. We really enjoyed the Guinness bread and the mackerel pate but honestly everything was really very good. I anticipate Roe becoming very well known, watch this space.
Would return here in a heartbeat. Intimate setting, food is unbelievable and love the extra touch that the chefs bring each dish to your table. I hope Roe is a permanent fixture at Pop as I want to come back again and again!
The food was so delicious, we loved everything we ordered which was basically the entirety of the menu, I would recommend all of it. Highlights were the cuttlefish and ink arancini and the ray wing main. Staff were friendly and helpful, I would definitely go back.
Fantastic food all round. The smoked roe with the soda bread was amazing
Great to have this near me. Top-notch seafood and really friendly service. Can't wait to come back
A lovely lovely evening! Such tasty food and wine. I would highly recommend it to anyone. Even tho we paid half price I would happily have paid our original bill of £30 a head. The atmosphere was really lovely, I really enjoy container restaurants and it makes you feel quite special as you are dining with the chefs so close to you! What’s lovely is that we met mostly all of the team, and even had the chefs being us our mains! The oyster for me was the best dish on the menu, oo actually maybe the one with the mushroom or the ceviche - oh I don’t know ha! Those three were definitely up there! Unfortunately we couldn’t try the dessert but I guess it’s gives us something to come back for ha! The wine (we had a reisling) was soo tasty, being a South African myself, we likened it to a favourite SA Chardonnay that we normally have in SA and absolutely loved the wine. My only (very small) complaint is that it was quite smokey inside. We did have to come home and have a shower and put all our clothes in the wash but I guess this is really hard to reduce due to it being a container. A really lovely evening and I really hope this is another Kricket case study to come out of Pop. A great initiative and a lovely very very tasty evening 😊
Wonderful service on their opening night. Fish was perfectly cooked & presentation / plating was attractive. Very pleasant atmosphere, able to chat without loud music. Great wine. Highly recommend the vino Verde & spiced Pollock.
