About Rodean Restaurant
Once a former butchers, converted into a restaurant in 1983. Our family took over in 1999 and over the past fifteen years, the Rodean and it's team have worked hard with our main aim to provide consistency throughout. Changing seasonal menus, Wine & Dine Evenings and special dining events supporting as many local producers as possible. We love to do what we do and are grateful for all the support our guests have given us over the past years.
Great restaurant, great food and great service. The only negativity is that I didn't see the option of giving a tip on the credit card machine and we had no cash. Never mind, next time.
Amazing food that would easily give Michelin starred restaurants a run for their money
Excellent as usual
This was our first visit for a wedding anniversary dinner and we were extremely impressed. Lovely atmosphere and decor, friendly, efficient service and, most importantly, great food! We'll definitely be back! Thank you.
Couldn't fault any aspect of the experience. Nicely paced service and a good choice for the Sunday lunch menu. Convenient free parking close by. A warm welcome set the scene - a wedding anniversary celebration for my wife and I will be happily remembered in the years to come.
Our 3rd visit this year and always a nice experience. We were a table of 4, here for Sunday lunch. My broccoli and stilton soup was excellent, roast beef perfect and the desserts nicely presented. The waiting staff could be a little more on the ball (take the orders and then have to ask the table who’s having which dish) and a little slow clearing empty bottles etc. We will return.
Fabulous lunch and especially delicious vegan sticky toffee pudding -a real treat thank you
another delicious meal at Rodean! I try and have dinner there every time I come to visit family and am never disappointed.
Tasting menu with wine was beautifully cooked and well prepared. Good value
Food was very nice but served Luke warm and mackerel skin was soggy rather than crispy. Desert (crepe brûlée) was delicious.
Three course with extra amuse bouche for just £28. Amazing value. Why bother to spend £50 on taster menu for 1 extra starter. Think taster menu should be more extensive.
As always, superb food, beautifully served. Top personal service. We love it as our special place
Consistently excellent food. An interesting and creative menu. Charming staff. I never hesitate to recommend the Rodean restaurant. They always deliver.
Was absolutely fantastic, came for our anniversary as had been meaning to go for ages and was not disappointed! Food was excellent, staff very friendly and attentive! Looking forward to coming back soon
Very welcoming excellent service and great food.
There was plenty of vegetarian options what was really nice and the food was great! Service was brilliant and a all round nice dinner experience.
Excellent as always

Another amazing meal, the beef was out of this world!
We always enjoy our experience when dining at The Rodean, cannot fine any vault with Lizzie & Matt, highly recommend it for special occasions or just a very pleasant meal out. If you have not tried it already, What are you waiting for.
