About Rockfish Exmouth
Family Seafood Restaurant
Very slow service. Drinks arrived with main course.
We had a really lovely time, thank you so much for making my husband’s birthday so special.
Yet another great meal in fabulous surroundings. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. Already booked for our next visit. Thank you. Nick and Lesley
Really disappointed to learn oysters are now off the menu! Last time I went to this branch in Exmouth you'd run-out of them..... And rather surprised to have to pay £20 for approximately 6x large King prawns and literally 5 salad leaves which counted as the side salad that came with it. Stunning view though sat on your indoor terrace at your Exmouth branch - that and the friendly service made up slightly for the other disappointments.
We had a lovely family meal, very good service from a friendly and knowledgeable team, all helped by it being a gorgeous October day with the sun shining off the water outside the window. Having just discovered Mitch's fish book I was keen to sample Rockfish and was not disappointed.
Only one waiter working very hard in our section - no sign of host or support but we had a lovely table and really enjoyed our lunch so thank you to him
We enjoyed fantastic time. Good food ,drink and service were absolutely perfect.
Great location - excellent friendly service from knowledgeable staff, and good food. Don't miss the shipping forecast in the loos!
Not the first visit, won't be the last,as expected brilliant
Rockfish Exmouth did a great job in providing a perfect birthday meal for my mum yesterday. Our party were all very grateful for the food, service and personalised birthday card. Thankyou, we will be back.
We had 2 Dogs with us (wet) and you was absolutely brilliant food was the best really enjoyed it
The food and service are excellent, always a treat to eat at Rockfish!
Very good service Also when is the Exeter restaurant going to open
Really enjoyed our meal. Was a bit of a risk for myself as I’m not really big into fish and had not tried very much sea-food. Booked with your selfs as my wife really wanted to go to a, sea food restaurant. As it was her birthday I thought I’d take the risk. Will defo re-vist.
We had been looking forward to our visit to this restaurant and wanted to treat our daughters at the end of a family holiday. Unfortunately the experience could have been better: we waited an hour (from the time of our booking) for food to arrive and my fish was overcooked. The restaurant concept is good and my sister is a big fan of your Brixham restaurant. Please note that our booking was for 13.30.
excellent as usual!
Would have preferred my sea bass filleted rather than on the bone.!
The batter on the fish (cod) and onion rings was rather heavy compared with previous visits. Service excellent as ever.
Second visit to Rockfish At Exmouth and completely enjoyable. Good fresh food in a great location.
I have been to Rockfish several times and never been disappointed. The food and service are great. Last Sunday, we had lunch, there was a good buzz in the place, and everything was great. The Exe mussels were wonderful!
We were offered hake but after we chose it we were told it was unavailable since it had all gone. It would have been sensible to have warned us before we chose that it was about to run out. This was disappointing. In my opinion bread should be offered as part of the oyster dish. I was irritated to have to pay extra £2.50 after spending £12 on the oysters. I won’t order again. Just a small slice of brown bread and butter would have made a difference.. the food though was first class as usual.
We've not been to a seafood restaurant,as it was my daughters 21st she chose Rockfish as she'd been there before. We were really impressed and loved the food we will definitely be returning
Lovely evening Thank you.
We had a brilliant night despite the horrible weather. Food and service was excellent.
From foot in the door to leaving could,nt be faulted Well done all
