About Rochelle Canteen
Rochelle Canteen sits in the converted bike shed of the old Rochelle School, looking out to the trees of Arnold Circus beyond.
We´ve been at the Rochelle Canteen for lunch and we can only recommend it! The food was excellent, so was our choice of wine. The atmosphere was relaxed and easy and it was nice to be in a private, secluded space because the Canteen is situated in a courtyard, hidden from view.
It was brilliant brilliant brilliant and I can’t wait to book again
V limited breakfast menu and very expensive- £1 each for a spoonful of jam?!
I’d suggest you consider putting more tables outside! It was a beautiful day and really a shame that we couldn’t enjoy the meal in the lovely yard.
Love Rochelle Canteen!
A magical place to eat in the centre of London. Great food too!
Such great staff are really the icing on the cake for a beautiful venue and incredible food. Thank you!
Lovely quiet evening with just the right amount of attention. The food was fresh and arrived quickly. The wine suggestions were on point. Thank you for a wonderful birthday dinner!
Had a really enjoyable Sunday afternoon - relaxed atmosphere and great food.
The setting was gorgeous! The service wasn't very warm
Dear Rochelle Canteen the staff forgot our main course leaving us waiting until we the only two left dining consuming a bottle of wine whilst waiting and then one when our food eventually arrived after I asked. This was a big dissapointment on what was a lovely experience. Look forward to hearing from you, many thanks and kind regards Jo
Rochelle Canteen remains one of the most delightful culinary experiences to be had in London. Food, location and service are on point, and eating there is always a thoroughly enjoyable treat. Certainly one of the best in the city.
Excellent service and really unparalleled atmosphere in London. We booked as a group of five and all left feeling like it was one of our favourite restaurants. Compliments to the staff that served us that day. Very down to earth.
We went there for breakfast -lunch looked better. I ordered the granola yoghurt and there was too much granola for very little yoghurt. The toast and homemade ketchup were great though!
Rochelle Canteen is always special.
Mains were of inconsistent sizes - 2 out of 3 were quite substantial, but 1 (onglet) was quite small. Also my friend's pork collar main arrived cold. Service was incredibly slow even though the restaurant was only 1/3 full when we were ordering our meals.
Rochelle Canteen came highly recommended. We were not disappointed! On entering the secret garden, we were warmly welcomed and treated to the most sumptuous feast of food and wine. Every mouthful was memorable and the silky fig leaf pannacotta was the best I have ever tasted. Can't wait to return. Huge thanks to the whole team.
Our server was shockingly rude. The food was nice enough, but nothing special. After a lot of hype and anticipation, we left very disappointed.
