Tutto racchiuso in un circo di sapori.
Una serata indimenticabile. Un viaggio esaltante tra nuovi sapori, abbinamenti perfetti e una servizio impeccabile, raffinato, cortese e simpatico. Da rifare!
Not on par with other restaurants of It's caliber. Tasting menu was almost entirely cold dishes. Left starving after a 2.5 hour meal, went up the street to a hole in the wall restaurant and had a bowl of pasta that was better than anything on the menu at Il Pagliaccio.
A fantastic evening built around some mazing dishes and flavours. My "hobby" is eating in restaurants with Michelin stars so I've had some disappointments over the years. This was not a disappointment. Probably in my top 5 so far! The staff were amazing. We feel we have had one of the best dining experiences you could have.
Great restaurant. We visited for lunch, and had the "traditional" 8 course menu. It was great. We enjoyed our self immensely. Make sure you have enough time. It takes time, or rather you should take your time to properly enjoy all the different courses and the brilliant wine parings. Great service. We had high expectations, and they where more than fulfilled.
Grazie
It's really expensive but once you've been there, you'll agree the price worth it. It is the best dinner experience when I'm in Rome this September. Food, wine, service, atmosphere, everything is absolutely fantastic. I'll definitely recommend this restaurant to my friends, and go there when I come back to Rome again!
Un Viaggio incantevole tra i sapori, un ottima fusione tra occidente ed oriente, in un atmosfera di pura accoglienza e relax.
Outstanding food and service. Great wine list with good affordable wines and also superior vintages. Never felt hurried and level of attention was just great.
Service was great. Food was not great- not worthy of even 1 Michelin star if you just look at the food.
It was a fascinating experience with interesting flavors, textures and aromas. Something to improve would be the confort of the seating arrangements.
There was a cold air flow around the table!
Everything was perfect. I and my family won’t forget the happiest hours in Il Pagliaccio. The only thing I want to suggest is that it’ll be more oerfect if there is a written explanation of each food for the non native Italian or English speakers like us. It was a little bit difficult to understand when the waitress’ explanation partly because of her Italian accent and partly because of the unfamilier names of the ingradients.
Outstanding dining experience. Thank you for making our anniversary special.
Amazing food. Very calm atmosphere. Definitely would recommend coming here!
Excellent food experience. Warm service that just makes you feel comfortable and in good hands. The local is probably too little and does not have a real room, so tables are quite close to each other. Value for money is good for the food but the wine list is definitely too expensive.
We’re offered to sit at the chef’s table in a private dining room. So much appreciated. Ordered two 8-course set dinner and all dishes were very delicious and nicely presented. Even the sourdough bread served with spinach butter also surprised me!
My wife hated the fact her menu had no prices in it - this is old fashioned and sexist. She was also disappointed that a glass of champagne was €35-€40. There is no reason not to have more reasonably priced champagne on the list (for comparison three star restaurants in London do). Unfortunately the food was, at best, pleasant, and at times, quite poor. Clearly the restaurant has a modern approach to cooking that may simply not be to our taste but we were very disappointed. We had five meals in Rome and this was the poorest by a long way. On a more positive note, the staff were excellent throughout.
Two small things about the place: 1. Not a lot of help by the Sommeliers. The paired tasting is absurdly expensive and, despite a large wine list, the staff kept saying that it was impossible to make a suggestion since they did not know what the chef would serve for my table. 2. The place was hot. If jacket is necessary, as it is described, it should have a better climate control. 3. The music was too loud.
Uno spettacolo di pura animazione "circense" caratterizzata da ingredienti speziati, sapientemente scelti, che ricordano orizzonti lontani.
The service and food were great the wine list was exorbitant the atmosphere there wasn’t any it was cold but without your service team it would have been ice cold ! Times are changing we have had this type of offering for years losen up introduce the drama but with some warmth of atmosphere !!! The wine pricing makes it an elite offering and your food whilst good should not preclude those who can well afford but want value for money and the wine took this away
Excellent service, creative and delicious food, everything was great!
