About Rick Stein Marlborough
Rick, Jill and the family are delighted and proud to have opened our new restaurant at Lloran House on the High Street in Marlborough.
Guests can enjoy some of Rick’s most iconic dishes such as the Dover Sole a la Meunière and Turbot Hollandaise as well as a selection of new dishes including Salt Pork Belly with split pea puree and sauerkraut, and Baked Guinea Fowl with garlic beans and smoked sausage. Alongside the a la carte menu, we also offer a set lunch menu available Monday to Friday, and a traditional Sunday roast.
Having been ill for some time managed to get out to visit Marlborough on a fine sunny day.Not having planned anything we spoke to your staff and they were able to arrange lunch for two at 2.15. We both had the Barnley chop which was just a little on the tough side but otherwise well presented and satisfying. Your staff were their usual charming and attentive selves and we enjoyed our visit my partner particularly praised the Malbec wine she enjoyed with her meal. Looking forward to visiting again as my health improves.Thank you all
great food and exceptional service
Excellent as always
Super meal, but a little too lengthy a wait between courses. My pork was a little chewy in places, although my companions loved their choices.Excellent toilets. Although our table was fine, the other tables in the same area were far too close to one another. It was obvious that the louder centre table of four were spoiling the eating experience for the two sets of couples sat either side of them. Not ideal unless your companion was such a bore that you did actually want to join in with the others! The gentleman that served us was great.
The staff were wonderfully welcoming, engaging and attentive. The food was as always superb. It being a Sunday lunchtime the atmosphere was a bit staid and it didn’t help being sat right next to another table who were very quiet and we didn’t want to impose on them with our own conversation - in essence there wasn’t much of a buzz but that was more likely due to the timing of our visit on a Sunday lunchtime.
Excellent service and delicious food, cannot fault anything - 👍
This is the second visit we have made to Rick Steins Marlborough and both times have been excellent. The service we received from the staff was second to none, the dishes on the menu were outstanding and the drinks pairing we very well thought out.
A great restaurant in which to celebrate 2 family birthdays 68 yrs and 7 yrs It was my 7 year old granddaughter who chose the venue good taste !
Food and service were excellent but the white wine was warm. second bottle had to be ordered at the start of the meal to enable it to be cooled. Other poor from a restaurant such as this.
A very special evening celebrating my birthday with friends. We had a round table which is always very much appreciated when dining in a large group. Emily, our waitress, was very attentive & helpful with answering our many questions about the menu. Many thanks.
Surprisingly affordable and service is excellent, with the quality of food exceptional. A relaxed, yet special pleasure.
I've found a few times when I've been in the restaurant in the summer that it's quite uncomfortably warm. Some ceiling fans would be good. I appreciate you can draw blinds but in the room environment I feel uncomfortable about potentially removing light from others
I was expecting perhaps more. I was hoping it was going to be similar to the restaurant we use in London. The menu was very limited we thought
A thoroughly enjoyable dining experience with staff that genuinely asked as to whether you enjoyed your, 1st , 2nd coarse etc....also the restaurant itself was very classy, modern and music was played at the most suitable volume for din8ng...
We enjoyed a delicious meal in your delightful restaurant in Marlborough. Excellent service and lovely, calm atmosphere.
Overall quite disappointing!! Not a patch on Padstow Bistro. Some of the hot vegetables were cold on service and we had to wait 10 minutes for fresh and then the cold vegetables were left on the plate. There seemed to be a lack of supervision!!! Will not rush back😒.
It was a special birthday meal and turned out to be wonderful food in a lovely location. Just how we wanted it to be.
Fabulous evening family from Scotland loved the food
We went for a lunch meeting. It was a very relaxed atmosphere. We had the set lunch menu which is excellent value for money. Would certainly recommend and will visit again
Excellent service and food amazing Not a fish eater normally but cooked properly it is amazing!
Restaurant was uncomfortably cold as there was a draught from the open front door. Tables were too close together. Hand dryer in ladies not working. Service excellent. Food good. Chips more like roasted potatoes then chips.
Wonderful Birthday Meal for my Husband can’t fault anything exemplary food, service atmosphere, restrooms made us feel very special decorated plate we will certainly be back soon. Weldone .
This is the fifth or sixth time we’ve visited the restraunt in Marlborough the food is excellent the venue comfortable pleasant beautifully styled. all the staff are very friendly approachable and pleasant without being overly attentive. Can not recommend it highly enough can’t wait for my next visit. Andrew
The mussel starter was stunning - best mussels I've had, and the Indonesian Fish Curry is always a favourite - stunning dish! Good service, and great atmosphere - an all round lovely evening!
Great food and service.
