Food was fantastic
Superb and memorable lunch to celebrate our daughter's 18th birthday: thank you!.
Always a delightful dining experience. Flavours exceptional and service pleasantly attentive. Drinks quite expensive.
The food, wine and staff were fabulous. Even with a voucher, the bill brought a tear to my eye( almost). A very special occasion venue only. To charge £4.00 for still tap water left a bit of a taste in my mouth 😧😧😧
We had an exceptional dining experience. The staff were amazingly helpful and welcoming and the food was superb.
Food was tasty and very special. Service was friendly and efficient. Value for money could be better, especially when it comes to wines. Service charge should be a suggestion, not added to the bill @12.5% as it’s excessive.
The perfect restaurant for celebrating a special occasion! Highly recommend and will definitely be going back again.
Service started out very strong. We were invited to sit and peruse the menu with a glass of Prosecco. The restaurant itself is beautifully designed and decorated. We went to our table and enjoyed the first few courses, though the descriptions of the dishes were rushed. We completely missed one editable component of the "pebbles" dish. After the 3rd course, service began to break down. We are not sure if it was the front or back of the house. By the first dessert, we were waiting 10 - 15 minutes between finishing a dish and seeing service again. All-told, a 6 course lunch ended up lasting 3 hours. One server even joked about it asking: "how was your afternoon?" instead of "how was your lunch?". The food for the most part was good, with the strong exception of the rhubarb dish. Mine was almost a raw piece of rhubarb. The beef dish was the highlight.
Excellent food and service, thank you for a great experience
What an incredible experience. The staff were attentive and kind, the setting minimal and neat, the atmosphere calm but not quiet, and the food absolutely sensational.
Delicious flavours and superb wine pairings.
Very welcoming, with excellent service. Plenty of room around the tables and with a great location overlooking the sea. Yes it is quite expensive but a unique dining experience with superb quality of food and drink.
The food was amazing so was the service, we had a fantastic evening
What a treat. The service was excellent and the food was amazing. The taster menu gave us the opportunity to try dishes that we wouldn't normally order - and we enjoyed them all. Thank you for a great evening.
A lovely birthday lunch - great food and friendly staff. It's a special place. we'll be back.
Went to the restaurant a little unsure of the menu, my husband and I had the taster menu, which gave me the opportunity to try things I would never order , must say I loved all 6 courses, service was excellent. Would definitely recommend .
The greet could have been better , we arrived early enough for a pre- dinner drink, but this took 15 to order. I think you are missing a trick here. Overall the table service was great, although at times felt hurried. Some people will like less interaction, we like to have it with the team. The Sommelier knowledge was excellent. Great touch that James came to each table with one of the courses. The food was outstanding!
Wonderful as usual, never disappoints. The food is always amazing and service is so friendly. Thank you as well for making Nicks birthday special.
Fabulous personal service - thank you!
Great food, wonderful wine pairings and excellent service, all you want at a fine dining restaurant
Our experience more than lived up to expectation. The service was fantastic- attentive but relaxed and friendly. The food was delicious. I went for the 9 course surprise taster menu. The experience started with nibbles brought out by Mr Sommerin himself. They certainly wet my appetite- salt and pepper crumpet, taramsamalata on tapioca rice crisp and an exploding pebble! My favorite dishes - the pea ravioli was beautiful followed closely by the lobster bisque. And the desserts were to die for. The whole experience lasted 3 hours - plenty of time to digest the food. Not a crumb was left on any of my plates. I would definitely recommend. It is great to have a Michelin started restaurant on my doorstep.
Interesting flavours and good presentation. The final souffle dish was sublime! Nice touch to have the chefs each present their dishes at the table. Drink charges add substantially to the overall cost so will remain a special occasion venue for us. A very enjoyable experience.
Superb in every respect
Great lunch very enjoyable experience overall
