Booked a table for 6 people on the Internet which was confirmed. When we arrived, no booking listed. Fortunately, restaurant not busy.
Excellent service and great food.
Dessert was truly awful. One does not expect wonderful at a hotel of this type but was bordering on the foul.
This is 3rd time been here, was staying in another hotel but came here because of staff and foid
The staff, service and food was second to none. What a fantastic way to start our holiday. Will definitely stay and eat at the Novotel Birmingham Airport again!
Nach einer Stunde hatten wir noch immer nicht unser Dessert. Ich habe den Kellner gefragt wo es bleibt. Wir bekamen 3 Minuten später das Eis. Es entsprach nicht dem Eis welches zu diesem serviert werden sollte. Die Sahne war warm und das Eis war flússig. Das Glas nur halb voll. Wir haben das Eis uuzüch gehen lassen und um die Rechnung gebeten. Wir haben darauf das Restaurant verlassen.
Lovely hotel. Nearest to departures. 1 minute walk away. Nice big room. Lovely bar and restaurant. Friendly accommodating staff

Although we had booked and had confirmation the restaurant did not know we were coming
When we arrived at the restaurant we were told there was no booking for us and also that they do not have that sort of service, this I found to be very strange, we did get seated though as they had room, but the staff had no idea about the booking process so it left a bad impression on us
Having booked a table in the restaurant online via the hotel’s website, we were surprised at check in to be told that they were not aware of our booking. This was not a problem as the receptionist made the necessary arrangements. However our experience of the restaurant was very disappointing, having to request water three times before our glasses were filled but no water left on the table as other guests had received. One of the main courses was lamb which was full of bone and fat. As a lover of this meat I enjoy the fattiness but this was unfortunately not a good dish. My disappointment with the level of quality of the meat was raised with the waiting staff and at reception when asked by the staff on checking out the following day. It was a shame as the hotel is lovely, in a prime position for the airport and has a comfortable atmosphere.
We really enjoyed our meal and relaxed atmosphere, whilst dining in your hotel. Definitely would return again.

Below average service and food with above average prices! To be fair, the cost of my main course was deducted from the bill, without me asking.

Captive Market but have to say excellent service
I had the hotel house burger and was very nice but my wife had chicken in a bun and sweet potato fries, she didn't like her food all lukewarm warm and ordered rocket and parmesan cheese salad at £3.50 because she was told no salad with bun not worth the money when bun came had 3 large bits of lettuce she would not order this again.
Our meal was very good. Service was excellent. A few more vegetarian options might be useful - especially the starters. All in all a lovely meal.
