About Red Dog Saloon Liverpool
Barbeque grew up in the South of the USA where cooks learned to slow roast cuts of meat over fire pits to make them tender. Exposure to the smoke of the smouldering wood added a distinctive smoky taste to the meat. The process could take many hours, leaving the meat tender and juicy.
Our award-winning smokers have been imported from the USA and are built to recreate the cooking process of those original fire pits. We smoke for up to 16 hours using the traditional American woods of hickory and mesquite to give a full smoke flavour.
Always quick and friendly service
Not very inpressed with food. I ordered chicken tenders, they were hard and dry. My husband and daughter shared the meat platter. The rib beef was just a rib of fat with a tiny bit of meat. Was not even touched. For £17 per head it was a total waste of money.
Food was amazing! We had carnivore platter and there was so much meat, we were both full until the next afternoon. Also arrived quickly but very fresh. We had 2 4 10 cocktails which were tasty but too much ice (I’m being picky).
Really nice place with friendly staff. Burgers and wings were very tasty, let down by basic chips (given effort put into rest of meal). Will definitely go again though.
Food was great, we all enjoyed our meals. The staff were really busy but still managed to be attentive and took time to explain the menu. Sabrina deserves a special mention and another young lady who's name we didn't get but both were very helpful during a busy time. This was our first visit to Red Dog but not our last.
The food was good. Plenty of it and tasty. Our server Amy was fantastic and helped us choose our food as we could not decide on what to have.
Staff really friendly, food amazing. Best burgers by far. Love the place.
