About Red Dog Saloon Liverpool
Barbeque grew up in the South of the USA where cooks learned to slow roast cuts of meat over fire pits to make them tender. Exposure to the smoke of the smouldering wood added a distinctive smoky taste to the meat. The process could take many hours, leaving the meat tender and juicy.
Our award-winning smokers have been imported from the USA and are built to recreate the cooking process of those original fire pits. We smoke for up to 16 hours using the traditional American woods of hickory and mesquite to give a full smoke flavour.
excellent through and through can not fault anything will be coming again for certain
Lovely food good service
Staff were friendly and helpful
It was a last minute booking. They got us in earlier then our time, which was lucky because we was 30mins early. The young lad Jai served us and was brilliant, very helpful with the drinks etc. Would recommend going. Burgers was lovely! Highly recommend ☺️
Perfect evening for my sons birthday. Staff were amazing and the food was delicious. Can’t wait to visit again
Lovely food and service. Could have done with some more veggie sides and a little on the expensive side for drinks but the service was fantastic!
Staff and the food was excellent 👌
Excellent from start to finish, the food was delicious and the best smoked meat we've ever had!
Could feed an army with the sharing platter. Service and food bang on. The service charge not so much
Great service & atmosphere as always x
Food took over an hour to come then was cold took far too long to get anyone’s attention very disappointed specially travelling from Leeds
Absolutely amazing service and amazing food. Place was busy but still super fast service :)
Absolutely outstanding service and amazing food! Will be back again
our booking was made but not recognised by the restaurant which meant we had to wait a while for our table. The service was very slow but the food was good when we got it.
Second visit in just over a week and looking forward to next time. Food and service excellent
1st visit but definatlly not the last there's a lot on that menu I've still got to try. I've got guests coming over from Ireland next week and I will be bringing them here. If that sounds like an excuse to eat here again that's because it is!!!!
The restaurant had actually double booked us, and we were turned away as were the smaller group! Even though we were there first and the other group hadn't turned up. Very disappointing and the staff didn't seem very sorry or helpful. Unhappy and won't be attempting to go back
Very good bbq...
Always quick and friendly service
Not very inpressed with food. I ordered chicken tenders, they were hard and dry. My husband and daughter shared the meat platter. The rib beef was just a rib of fat with a tiny bit of meat. Was not even touched. For £17 per head it was a total waste of money.
Food was amazing! We had carnivore platter and there was so much meat, we were both full until the next afternoon. Also arrived quickly but very fresh. We had 2 4 10 cocktails which were tasty but too much ice (I’m being picky).
Really nice place with friendly staff. Burgers and wings were very tasty, let down by basic chips (given effort put into rest of meal). Will definitely go again though.
Food was great, we all enjoyed our meals. The staff were really busy but still managed to be attentive and took time to explain the menu. Sabrina deserves a special mention and another young lady who's name we didn't get but both were very helpful during a busy time. This was our first visit to Red Dog but not our last.
The food was good. Plenty of it and tasty. Our server Amy was fantastic and helped us choose our food as we could not decide on what to have.
Staff really friendly, food amazing. Best burgers by far. Love the place.
