Fish was great , peas awful and not fully cooked as were the chips some were rock hard in the middle as were my husbands. The soup just tasted of tinned tomatoes but the sticky toffee pud was fine. Breakfast was much better than expected with just the scrambled egg a little cold but staff throughout the hotel were great. The air con in the room did not work and the fan we were given did nothing for the size of the room really, get the impression that this place is a bit neglected but has promise but it’s saving grace is the fab staff
Superb restaurant with an excellent chef & lovely, helpful staff. The calibre of the was superb. A great choice, extremely delicious, beautifully presented and exceptional value for money. I've already recommended you to a fried whose booked in for 2 nights at the Richmond. I'll be visiting again very soon. Many thanks, Jean Almond
Excellent Service with nothing too much trouble. Had afternoon tea which was lovely.
Awsome hotel, dining area was beautiful , service couldnt of been any better , food was delicious, would definetly reccommend 5 star xxxxx
Afternoon tea was lovely, the staff were really welcoming and we felt very comfortable.
Everything was fabulous. The dining room, decoration and ambience. The only thing I would have liked differently is more sandwiches included, although the cakes and desserts were delicious.
Great service, excellent cocktails and the food was delicious
Really good service from waitress from start to finish many thanks xx
Enjoyed two nights dining at our hotel restaurant.Dealt well with gf food for my coeliac. Everything great, suggest more choices for gf sweets, and gf cornflour for gf sauces. Many thanks to chef and Daniel is a star!
What a lovely experience. Have had afternoon tea in another top Liverpool hotel but yours was by far the best. The service was spot on. Your waitress Megan could not have been more helpful she was professional friendly and an asset to your company. We thoroughly enjoyed our sparkling afternoon tea and look forward to our next visit.
Service was slow, food disappointing, no atmosphere. Much nicer places to go within Liverpool centre.
Although decor wasn’t the best (a bit too much black and white, needs a hint of colour perhaps?), restaurant is lovely. Good choice of meals and good value eg 2 courses £20. Food itself was delicious. Staff were friendly and accommodating 😊
All restaurant staff were delightful & very friendly. However we arrived for lunch but waitress said bookings were closed that day as they had a big conference in. I showed her my online booking print out, and she said no problem, but we had to wait 20 mins for conference folk to leave the tables. 2 of the items we ordered from the menu were unavailable, and an incorrect dessert was brought out but we said nothing about that. Although food & staff were lovely, but we wont be returning
We dined here last night, the service could not have been better, the food was amazing, we had a great time
Very good food, service and price!
All staff very welcoming and attentive very enjoyable.
The service was excellent - Todd in particular really fussed over us and made our experience memorable. He made sure we picked a red wine that we liked, and when I had an issue with my desert it was changed immediately. I have rated the atmosphere as 4 because it was quiet and another couple without children chose to sit right behind us and then complain, which made us feel on edge. Certainly not the fault of the staff but a strange thing for the other guests to do. I have rated the food '4' because the children's banana splits were just the banana and ice cream, whipped cream and promised toffee sauce forgotten I think. And really picky, I probably would have liked a bread roll with my starter. All said the meal was very good, I would recommend it and I have to say that the staff really REALLY make this hotel.
