About Randys Wing Bar Aldgate
Conceived from a mutual love of chicken wings, good friendship and strong family ties to a Norfolk chicken farm, the Randy’s duo, Richard and Andy, embarked on a wing tasting pilgrimage to the USA to gain inspiration and develop mouth watering wing sauces. They sort the secrets to create the perfect chicken wing.
Food was incredible. Atmosphere was average. Would probably be amazing if it was busy Staff not so good. The waiter was drunk and stunk of alcohol
Need more flavours. We went to a wing bar in Newcastle. They had 11. You had 3. Got boring.
Service can be a bit slow but the wings are sooo good!
Overall I thought the experience was very good and a healthy 8/10. To get the extra two points I'd say the wraps need to be more tightly wrapped (not that easy to eat with your hands) and the waitress service needs to have a better knowledge of the beers.
Wings were very average, too much sauce, having the option of only buffalo in the bottomless brunch is a bit harsh too. Feel £29 is a lot to ask for just buffalo wings and beer for an 1hr 20, especially for average wings. Service good, nice team.
Only complaint was the music was slightly too loud. Otherwise the chicken was excellent, the service was quick and friendly and the unlimited wings deal for £14 on a Monday was great value. Been a couple of times now and will be back again - highly recommend the Gangnam wings!
Great service, tasty wings and good beer. A brilliant afternoon.
Buffalo wings were amazing, although we had to ask for the blue cheese sauce on the side - could be worth checking with customers what they want first to save wasting food?! We did feel bad about this but one of us wasn’t a fan of blue cheese. The Korean wings and pomegranate ones were both very disappointing, over salty and sweet respectively. Loved the salad, fries and that tattinger was available by the glass! Great decor and ambience. Will be back for wings night but will stick to the buffalo only.
Really fast service, went for the unlimited wings and didn't have to wait long for a fresh set of wings. Friendly staff and fast service.
Best wings we've ever had (and we've travelled around America!!) Beer was fantastic and the bottomless brunch was really good value for money. Really can't wait to visit again!
Food was great. Service was fantastic
Great spot for a drink and some top notch wings!
Great staff really friendly!
Amazing! Will defiantly be returning!
All you can eat is an amazing deal. I’ve heard the record is 78 (not by me). Maybe start a Wall of Fame a la Man V Food?
Great food in a lovely atmosphere. Would definitely go again
Really nice wings, the only con is that the music is quite loud but that's really being picky.
Fountain of Wings is brilliant - it’s only there for May - get in there !
My letter sent to Randys - no response yet. Dear Richard and Andy, I hope this email finds you. I would have liked to have visited at least one of your bars and tasted your famous wings, unfortunately that has not been the case. This is very disappointing as my daughter and I are avid wing-nuts and always celebrate each others birthdays with a wing feast. On the first occasion my daughter booked her birthday through the website on Sunday 18th Feb, she received confirmation and we turned up only to find the bar closed - I live outside london and she works in the city. We therefore found another wing bar but not the one we wanted for her birthday. These things happen- we forgot and forgave - and there was lots of choice in the surrounding area so the experience wasn’t terminal. However last month she saw your unique wing fountain, and suggested this would be a very good choice for my birthday. I booked for tonight at 6.30pm specifically for the fountain and travelled into london to meet my daughter - excited ! I had a confirmation email and also rang the bar on monday to ensure that we would have a reservation. We arrived at 6.30pm at the bar and were greeted by a male host who asked if we were “Timeout” - he had a list of press on his clipboard - not surprising as this was your first day of the promo. After some confusion we made it clear that we had booked a Wing Fountain. We were led past the only 2 wing fountains i could see and sat on a two top by a female host. After 5 minutes the host came up and informed us that there had been a mistake and we would not be getting a fountain as there were only 2. Did we want to come back on another day or would we like a discount. The experience was utterly ruined as it was very obvious that your PR event and fountains were for the exclusive use of your press guests. We decided to leave at this point as one bad experience is probably excusable, but 2 is really very poor especially as it was totally avoidable and operationally inept. I did ask for a Directors name as I left but your host refused to give one, which only helped add insult to injury, any decent business should have no issue with delivering this information if it cares sufficiently about customer service or recovery. I hope you had a successful launch of the fountain - its a genuinely great idea and we both had friends waiting for our report on the experience, sadly it was deja vous as we ended up the road looking for another wing bar -again. I sincerely hope you take on the feedback and maybe try and put the customer first next time, our disappointment and inconvenience could have been very easily avoided. Regards Jonathon Grenville- Grey
Bravo - excellent concept in a very competitive chicken environment! You are thoroughly skilled with the preparation of your big juicy wings. Please consider adding the harissa and Vietnamese wings to the Monday deal, even for another couple of £. Great sides and craft beer too. Six of us at Minories on Monday 30th April for my birthday - you made it guys. Thank you.
You need to take cash
Eating multiple times at the Hackney Wick location and now love the new Aldgate restaurant. Would recommend the Ho Chi Minh wings!
Probably one of the best chicken wings in London.
Thought the Wings would be better than they where. But the burgers looked great.
