About Randy's Wing Bar Hackney Wick
Conceived from a mutual love of chicken wings, good friendship and strong family ties to a Norfolk chicken farm, the Randy’s duo, Richard and Andy, embarked on a wing tasting pilgrimage to the USA to gain inspiration and develop mouth watering wing sauces. They sort the secrets to create the perfect chicken wing.
In 2015 Randy's Wing Bar was invited by the Buffalo Tourism Board to attend the National Buffalo Wing Festival in Buffalo, New York as the events first-ever international competitor. Follow their adventure on Jamie Oliver's Food Tube.
After a 3year journey, Rich and Andy welcome you to the new HQ of chicken wings, great drinks and good times. Pull up a stool at the bar or relax by the canal, either way the party starts here.
Staff are all so friendly, and the service is quick and efficient. The wings are by far the best in London and great value for money. Couldn't recommend it more!
Fantastic, original food options and a great service from our waitress. She really looked like she enjoyed being at Randy's and always had a smile. Top customer service.
it was yum!
Delicious food, good service, really good atmosphere! Highly recommended!
Will be coming back here again and again.
Good wings, great friendly service in a great spot on the canal close to the London Stadium. Great option for pre match food and drink.
The wings were amazing, but the staff make this place for friendly and accommodating! Can’t wait to come back!
Nice food, Great Service
Music and atmosphere changed completely once the venue became empty. “All you can eat, Wings” is a fake marketing that we found out after we had our first order: you can only order from 3 options out of 5 of the menu; you can only order again once you finish all your wings; plates arrived one by one even if we were two people at the table so one of us had to wait; “all you can eat” only lasts for 1h20. All of this seemed to be made up rules since they were added on the go and nobody explained them to us at our arrival. When we raised our complains to the manager he started arguing with us, without really listening to us, rather than trying to fix their mistakes. He argued he didn’t explain the rules beforehand because he said “they were busy” and “they didn’t have enough staff”.
Booked online at 1145 only to be told they weren’t open until 12!!! Waiter was highly apologetic and offered me a free beer. Food was good, service was prompt and friendly. Will definitely be back.
Service disorganised. We had 4 different waiters and had a steady stream of being asked if we was ready to order, Was told all food might not be served together. Cocktail wasn’t served; had to be chased. Beer wasn’t served (was ordered when we arrived); had to be chased. No one around when we wanted the bill. Disabled sliding door wasn’t fully closing so anyone outside could see into the cubicle.
Slow service that meant bottomless wings Monday wasn't possible and it was cheaper to pay for what we had actually received
No doubt about it, thee best wings in the whole of the city. Excellent location with a very busy but chilled out vibe. My favourite restaurant in London.
Unbelievable! We actually came here on a recommendation from a friend. Apparently the restaurant does not accept bookings online. Despite having received booking confirmation on Sunday evening we were quickly dismissed upon arrival of the Hackney branch. This was my first time here and probably my last.
Everything was great about Randy’s except 2 things: 1) I booked brunch online for 11.30 for Hackney Wick only to be told when I arrived that they don’t open until 12. Why was I allowed to book for 11.30 then? 2) When I asked for brunch menu my friends and I were told they stopped doing brunch 6-8 months ago!!!!! Again, then why is there a brunch menu online for the Hackney Wick branch?!?!?! Very good wings but y’all need to up your customer service
We had a lovely meal - food was great and the all you can eat wings went down well - we sat outside and sometimes felt it was hard to catch a servers attention and we ended up waiting about 30/40 minutes for our last batch of wings - but the manager was great and took some money off the bill and gave us some wings to take away - which we weren’t expecting as aside from that it was perfect! We’ll be back!
Friendly service, good crispy and meaty wings with a selection of flavours and coatings. Atmosphere party-ish and quite loud but beautiful sitting outside and friendly Manager. Didn't do all you can eat as wasn't the best value if we wanted to try a variety so I'd recommend just sampling menu & splitting the bill!
up there with the best wings ever!
Great wings and proper pints as well! We had a great time!
Staff were fantastic and really nice.
Delicious but pricey for wings
Let down by the food. Gong bao wings tasy, buffalo and gangam werr dry, not the best flanvour. Disppponted by the wings
Unfortunately I cannot actually rate this restaurant since we did not get to eat here. I arrived for my booking to shocked faces (I guess they didn't know I had booked?) and was told they weren't opening until half an hour after I had booked. I had received no prior contact to tell me this. We were attending the Women's Hockey World Cup that day and, because we ended up having to have a walk in reservation elsewhere, we missed the beginning of the first match and rushed what should have been a lovely meal. The guys didn't really seem too fussed that I said we would just go somewhere else and merely shrugged their shoulders. Apparently they had more important things with the wing festival happening the next day? Some communication would have been appreciated, rather than turning up unawares.
