About Ramen Dayo!
Ramen Dayo started off in 2016, as a ‘yatai’ ramen cart in Gordon St Lane. It quickly gained popularity, and received a 10/10 review from Joahnna Blythman in the Sunday Herald & was a mentioned as a place of interest when visiting Glasgow by the New York Times. In July 2017 we opened our first full restaurant in Queen St, and the following year expanded to Ashton Lane, in the West End of Glasgow.
Our mission is to create an authentic ramen dining experience, using only high quality ingredients to produce the best tasting ramen in the UK at a competitive price. Consistency, attention to detail and pride in every dish served is central to our success.
Ramen Dayo strives not only to create the best tasting, most authentic ramen outside of Japan, but also to translate ramen culture to Scotland - where it was sorely lacking before we started. From the food and surroundings, to the service, atmosphere and mentality of our staff.
Really great food, nice atmosphere
We loved being back at Ramen Dayo, the food was great and it was wonderful to see so many new vegan options of the menu. The staff and service was so lovely too. Even though it is a small space indoors, it is spaced out well enough and we felt safe and socially distant from the other tables.
We had a great time at Ramen Dayo! yesterday - food was amazing and the service was great. Excited to come back soon!
Food is delicious. The vibe inside is amazing. Staff are always so friendly
Our waitress Katie was lovely. Excellent customer service and the food was a 10/10. Will definitely be returning.
Waitress was lovely. Food was fantastic. Thoroughly enjoyed.
Best Ramen I've had outside of Japan, Everything was perfect.
Delicous meal and great service!
Great customer service, truly felt valued as a customer. The staff were friendly and chatty too. I will be back for some more great food!
The menu and food were really nice, so was the waitress. The meals were a bit too much salty in my opinion, and the place being quite small get easily noisy when it's full. Other than that, really nice decoration.
I was absolutely blown away by Ramen Dayo on my first visit. Everything was brilliant and I really do mean brilliant. The aesthetic of the restaurant is perfect, it’s culturally exciting and relevant without being exploitative and made for a really pleasant place to eat. Every member of staff we talked to was helpful and welcoming and we were well looked after. The food was honestly just next level, the best bowl of ramen I’ve ever had and the value for money was spot on. Will revisit time and time again.
Absolute favourite ramen I drive over from Fife for it! Delighted to be able to come eat there again, Chicken wings are also amazing
Excellent service, location and amazing food.

Amazing food as always, and lovely service :) x
Service amazing, food amazing.
Service was lovely but drinks were disappointing as they only had a few drinks that were remaining off the menu.
10/10 will be back. tantanmen pork ramen was unbelievable.
Great food and great service!
Our waitress was absolutely fantastic. Our first outing in a year with friends indoors and we felt safe, well cared for and really enjoyed our time. Food was fantastic.
First time back at Ramen Dayo since they moved to the West End, and everything is as great as I remember it!
Great meal. Great atmosphere. Quick and lovely service. Can't fault anything. Loved the Tatanmen Ramen, gyozas, edamame beans, fried chicken and togarashi fries. Loved everything. Can't wait to go back
