About Raja Rani
“It’s such a complete world of taste. You combine all the techniques from other cuisines and add magical spices to get a titillating food experience” – Madhur Jaffrey
With all its exotic ingredients, unfamiliar dishes, and tongue-tingling flavours, Indian cuisine can be both exciting and intimidating. We at Raja Rani want our customers to get great quality food with value for money as well. We want our service to be elegant yet unobtrusive.
As our name means King and Queen, we intend to provide a royal treatment to each of our customers and give them a reason to come back.
Excellent. Food outstanding staff lovely. Although did forget to give us plates for our platter starter ! Wouldn't put us off superb
Excellent value for money. Good choice on Pre-theatre menu
Lovely food with very quick service. Maybe a little too quick with the bill but understand it was nearly 10pm by then.
Thoroughly enjoyed our meal once again. My son ordered Raja Rani Malwa and I will definitely order that myself next time - delicious!!
Excellent food in a pleasant atmosphere. Friendly and efficient staff. Will be back.
Lovely modern restaurant. Spacious and well lit. Lovely food and great service. Lovely night
I’ve visited about 4 times now,pre-theatre good value, chef’s appetiser lovely wee touch, the food is delicious, service great, and they don’t rush you, decor and surroundings warm and relaxing,a wee favourite of mine at minute
Excellent food with attentive but not intrusive service, all at a very reasonable price. Will most definitely be returning sometime soon
We come as a group occasionally and the food is fantastic. Well priced and portions are bang on. Great service aswell. Highly recommend.
Fantastic food as always. Love the draft beer, and options on the menu are brilliant. Great service, with very attentive waiting staff
We often get take away from here and love it so decided to dine in - the food was ok, could of done with being a little bit hotter. The service was very slow and seemed like they didn’t really care - one young waiter dropped butter chicken sauce all over the floor near one of us and just left it with no apology, if someone’s bag was there it would of been covered in it ! There was also food all over the floor before we even sat down which was very off putting. Almost £100 for 4 people for just main courses - wouldn’t mind paying that amount of money as we normally dine in quite expensive places but with that we expect exceptional service and the floor around us to atleast be clean!
Great food and service.
We were in on Sunday with the family for a birthday, there was 22 of us, and the young boy who waited our table was exceptional, nothing was a bother, made a massive difference to our night, will be back soon, food was great!
Lovely food and service.
Food excellent. Restaurant a little too warm for me. Table right under music speaker so for me music was to loud.
Very decent curry pre theatre menu good value
First visit although have had some lovely carry out meals. We had booked for boxing day but a fire in their kitchen put paid to that. Lovely meal good service and the whole family left happy
Always had a lovely night here
Fabulous meal as usual, staff lovely and service great. Looking forward to our next visit.
It was a cold night in mid January & there was only one other couple in the restaurant. It was our son's first visit. Service & food were excellent. My son said he will definitely come back - his treat next time.
Staff where helpful and friendly. Food was delicious.
WORTH A VISIT.
Fresh, tasty food. The pakora especially was very good. Service was friendly and professional. The server knew the menu well and was able to advise us. We needed gluten free options which there were many. Easy to use as they have a separate menu. The server was very aware of the gluten free options and mentioned it when serving the meal to ensure it was gluten free. Will and have returned.
A great night out!
