About Raja Rani
“It’s such a complete world of taste. You combine all the techniques from other cuisines and add magical spices to get a titillating food experience” – Madhur Jaffrey
With all its exotic ingredients, unfamiliar dishes, and tongue-tingling flavours, Indian cuisine can be both exciting and intimidating. We at Raja Rani want our customers to get great quality food with value for money as well. We want our service to be elegant yet unobtrusive.
As our name means King and Queen, we intend to provide a royal treatment to each of our customers and give them a reason to come back.
Always had a lovely night here
Fabulous meal as usual, staff lovely and service great. Looking forward to our next visit.
It was a cold night in mid January & there was only one other couple in the restaurant. It was our son's first visit. Service & food were excellent. My son said he will definitely come back - his treat next time.
Staff where helpful and friendly. Food was delicious.
WORTH A VISIT.
Fresh, tasty food. The pakora especially was very good. Service was friendly and professional. The server knew the menu well and was able to advise us. We needed gluten free options which there were many. Easy to use as they have a separate menu. The server was very aware of the gluten free options and mentioned it when serving the meal to ensure it was gluten free. Will and have returned.
A great night out!
The service here is always great which is one of the reasons we keep coming back. This time I made a bad choice of main course (Kandalahari) and found it very bland. My partner enjoyed hers, however.
Such an amazing restaurant - so glad we went! Will definitely be returning and using for future takeaways. Best Indian I’ve been to in a while.
We were out for a special evening celebration. The management dealt its an extremely loud group very professionally....and the atmosphere returned to its usual good feeling and we really enjoyed our evening well done to the management
We had an excellent meal & the service was great
Another great meal at Raja Rani. Only negative was it was a bit draughty at times.
Great food and friendly staff.
Great venue and fabulous food
Great meal. First time here but definitely be back
We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Raja Rani. Service was first class, and the quality of the food was excellent. Nice touch, receiving a hot, perfumed towel, after our meal. Looking forward to returning, and will be sure to recommend to other family & friends.
Food was excellent and plentiful. Service was great and they were interested in ensuring we enjoyed our evening. Thank you
Food great and service terrific
My first time at this restaurant and I will most definitely be returning! Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff & the food was amazing - so much to choose from, and perfect for a vegetarian like me!
Service was friendly and efficient & food was delicious. We booked on the raja rani website for the pre-theatre and our table was booked for 5.45 (pre-theatre menu stops at 6pm), we arrived at 5.45 on the dot. When we were taken to our table by the manager (I think) he quite rudely said we would need to get our order in quick as the pre-theatre menu stops at 6pm. I pointed out we booked on their website for 5.45 and all he said was yes and walked off. Also that night there was no draught lager, cider or bottled cider. Maybe he was a little stressed over that!! The rest of the staff were polite.
Lovely night out and a great Friday night curry
Had a lovely meal but the service was shocking! The phone rang constantly and the manager and waitress ran back n forth with take away orders, leaving us sitting for a half hour without being offered a drink or order food. My husband and father in law asked 3 times about ordering a drink. I think you seriously need to look at who is priority, the people paying to sit and eat in your restaurant or the takeaway punters, Pretty disappointed . Also, it should be made clear re kids eating free on a Sunday, there was no mention anywhere of it not being applicable if you order from a la carte? Your saving grace is the food was very good.
It was my husband 70th birthday and the staff were very attentive to make sure everything was okay. The food was excellent everyone cleared there plates that's how good it was this is our second time here and we will definatly be going back real soon highly recommend.
I booked for a mid week family dinner for 8 as it was my partners birthday. Some of the party had tried the take out menu and very much enjoyed however our dining experience was quite the opposite unfortunately. The service was terrible - extremely slow (1hr 40mins for main meal to arrive), drinks missed, order questioned several times yet still wrong, cold food and no loo roll in the toilet. It made the meal particularly difficult as young children were present. This was so disappointing and what's worse is when we tried to speak with a member of staff they were extremely defensive (although one of the girls did apologise as we were walking out). They did take 20% off the main meals but the night was spoiled by then and we all left feeling a bit deflated. I think we will give it a miss in future.
Fist time at the restaurant on Saturday night food service and atmosphere fantastic!!! Will definitely be back ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
